Coronavirus epidemic at the Vatican

by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

It was reported by Vatican news, on Saturday, that the Coronavirus epidemic has come to the Vatican. Swab tests have been given to 170 individuals, including Jorge Mario Bergoglio.

These massive tests followed the diagnosis that at least two individuals with Coronavirus infection visited the Vatican in recent weeks: a Monsignor from Bergamo, Italy, the epicenter for infection in the Italian Peninsula, and arguably in all of Europe, and a French Bishop, who shook Bergoglio’s hand on an official visit.

Needless to say, Bergoglio himself submitted himself to swab test on a second occasion this last week.

And, in fact, there are now at least 6 confirmed cases of Coronavirus at the Vatican. I say, at least, because, that is what is being admitted. But the infections might even be more prevalent, if one judges by the bizzare Facebook post on the official FB page of the Swiss Guard, which ended by asking Catholics, to avoid infection, not to go to church!

Screenshot_2020-03-30 guardia-svizzera-2 jpg (WEBP Image, 640 × 1136 pixels) - Scaled (60%)

Marco Tosatti, the renowed Vaticanista, discusses in Italian this bizarre post on his website, and provides Spanish and German translations. The final phrase of the post, in English, would be:  During this period do not go to church, but invite God into your homes! — The FB page of the Swiss guard was subsequently shut down by someone. Evidently the post caused an uproar in the Vatican. The language of the final exhortation is clearly echoing Bergoglio.

But more importantly, the recent bizarre ceremony at the Vatican on Friday, which was presided over by Bergoglio, all alone, in an entirely vacant Piazza S. Pietro, is a sign of how great a fear of coronavirus is reigning over the Vatican right now. See photo:

desolation

Ann Barnhardt wrote a very thought-provoking article about this on her blog (see here).

But more importantly, during the ceremony, Our Lady appeared in the clouds over Rome, in the only part of the sky where TV cameras were pointing that day, since journalists have entirely fled the public places as a result of the Health Decrees requiring everyone to work from home.

I had previously commented on how the Coronavirus might effect Vatican politics and the next conclave, in my editorial, entitled:  Trad inc. might soon wake up as Sedevacantists, which at the time I wrote it, was half-jest, but now might even seem prescient.

Oh, and by placing the miraculous Crucifix from the Church of San Marcellino in the rain, it was damaged and now needs restoration, according to Il Messagero, one of the leading daily newspapers of the Eternal City. So Bergoglio sealed his Friday evening ritual with profanation of one of the most sacred relics of Rome. Meanwhile, those burning pots with plants beneath each one, has Social Media abuzz as to the possible Pachamama significance of them.

Download: “My Life with Mary” prayer-booklet

by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

In August of 2004, I had the grace to make a pilgrimage to La Salette, France, and I resolved there to do what I can to promote the life of prayer among Catholics. I subsequently compiled a collection of prayers, which I entitled: My Life with Mary, which is published by Save Old St. Mary’s, Inc., in the USA, but which I offer here in PDF format in English, Italian, French and Arabic. — This is a great little booklet to keep on your cellphone or computer, so that wherever you are and have a moment you can find a prayer to help you pray.

True knowledge and true sight

by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

The most horrid thing about modern culture is how spiritual blind it is and how spiritually blind it makes those who accept it.

Our Holy Faith’s fundamental purpose is to liberate us from this blindness. But it seems wherever one goes, whether Europe or Australia or North America there is not much difference in the personal vision of Catholics who profess to believe and pagans who profess not to believe.

What value is it to you, anyway, to live as the world proposes to you to live your life? The only thing this world promises in the end is death and taxes.

The truly prudent man considers what is eternal and what is the safest way to reach that goal, and puts his trust in the Lord Jesus, Who said, “Follow me”.

In recent decades one has seen the disintegration of religious life. This has shocked many. But for us religious who seek the Kingdom of Heaven, it came as no surprise, because monks and friars everywhere for the last 60 years have openly expressed little or no interest in Eternal Salvation.

So distant and foreign is this concept, that its difficult to convince anyone to believe or pray, let alone support a monastic foundation. Still harder to join one.

Indeed, its no exaggeration to say that 99% of those who knock on the doors, today, of religious orders are not inspired by Jesus Christ. They are just sodomites who want to live with men and pretend to be holy. I say this on the basis of talking to vocation directors who say they have to turn away 99 out of 100 applications, upon application or during the temporary formation.

Till the rank and file Faithful return to living for God, purely for love of God, and turn aside from the slavery of living according to the world’s standards, they will not be able to collaborate with God to raise up true vocations to save the Church. For the true Catholic family is the first seminary of those vocations who will save the Church.

The Letters of Archbishop Viganò opened the eyes of many Friars, who for years struggled to keep the Observance and hold fast to the true Faith amid near universal opposition from above and from their peers. Now we understand better that we erred fundamentally in considering these our friends. To that extent, new possibilities for religious life are opened, since we can see better why having anything to do with such false friends is such a waste of time. And so, faithful religious can go forward and make new foundations. They need only the support of Catholics who have the same realistic vision of the Church’s problems.

What is a religious vocation?

“Unless you do penance, you shall all perish likewise.”
(St. Luke 13:5)

“So likewise, every one of you who does not renounce all that he has, cannot be My disciple.”
(St. Luke 14:33)

“Because he who exalts himself shall be humbled, but he who humbles himself shall be exalted.” (St. Luke 14:11)

by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

On one occasion Our Lord Jesus Christ appeared to Faustina Kowalska and showed her the night sky, filled with the moon and stars. And He pointed to the full moon and said to the Saint, “You see how bright the moon is tonight, compared to the stars? Know that the glory of one soul in Heaven who was a faithful religious is like that in comparison to the glory of one soul who was a faithful layman.”

The greatness, beauty, honor, and glory of the religious vocation is a thing unheard of, unknown, and unappreciated in the world. Not only today; but in the past and until the end of time. It is unheard of in the world because the world does not speak of the religious life, except to ridicule it. It is unknown of in the world, because the world knows only pride of life, pride of the eyes and vanity of spirit. It is unappreciated in the world, because the world’s love leads to death; while a religious vocation leads straight to eternal life.

When a vocation begins to think of a religious vocation, he invariably considers that it is a difficult and narrow path. It contradicts what our nature loves, wants and is comfortable with. It contradicts what our parents, relatives, friends and worldly idols encourage us toward. It contradicts the freedom of life, the self determination of a career and the control our society encourages us to have over our life, lived here and now for the there and now. In short a religious vocation is the exact opposite of the creed of the world, the flesh and the devil.

To understand and appreciate and begin to desire a religious vocation, let us consider the four aspects of the essence of a religious vocation: its greatness, beauty, honor and glory.

The Greatness of a Religious Vocation

The greatness of the religious vocation is founded upon its essence. A religious vocation is a calling from the Triune God to devote one’s entire being and life, soul and body, heart and mind, prayer and works, to the knowledge, love and service of Him in this life, and to a special life and blessedness with Him in the world to come.

“Why did God make you?” This is the first question in the traditional Catechism, taught to children. And the answer is: “To know, love and serve God in this life, and to be blessed with Him forever in the life to come.” At Lourdes, St. Bernadette Soubirous, who was a cordbearer of St. Francis of Assisi, asked a favor of Our Lady. Our Blessed Mother replied: “I never promised to make you happy in this world, but only in the world to come.”

The idolization of technology during the last century has led to a complete here-and-now mentality in modern society. How many of our contemporaries are concerned solely and wholly with making money, getting a promotion, buying a house, raising a family, finding and enjoying new entertainments or be tourists here and there. But God did not make us for this world. God did not fashion us to be entertained in this life. God did not intend us to be satisfied here. If we are content with this life, entertained in this life, satisfied with this life, oh how sad, miserable, ignorant and wretched we truly are.

You shall die. God fixed the day before the foundation of the world. It will be for the punishment of your sins, for the punishment of the sin of Adam, if you die the friend of God; for the punishment of your own sins, if you die His enemy.

To be a religious is to consecrate oneself to the most important work in life: being the friend of God. If we become and remain His friend, His faithful servant, when we die He will grant us eternal life. This is the meaning of life; this is the mystery of life. It is that simple.

The greatness of a religious vocation is founded upon the essence of a religious vocation. A religious vocation is a calling from God to dedicate oneself entirely and purely to Himself. Since God is infinite goodness and eternal life, such a relationship is a arrow drawn and shot up into the infinity and eternity of God. As such a religious vocation is a calling to the maximum greatness a man can ever hope for and achieve: the eternal divine sonship, by the adoption of grace.

The Beauty of a Religious Vocation

The beauty of a religious vocation consists in the beauty of God. The religious vocation is an invitation and path to become immersed in the life and beauty of God. This is accomplished by our cooperation with the life of grace. Grace as you know is the participation in the life of the Most Blessed Trinity. Now God is perfect, infinite and eternal Beauty. And beauty is the harmony of order in goodness. So a religious vocation is a calling to become absorbed in God, immersed via grace into the beauty of mind, the beauty of heart and the beauty of spirit.

The beauty of mind to which a religious is called, is the immersion of our intellect in revealed truth in this life by faith and the virtues of wisdom and understanding and knowledge. The beauty of heart to which a religious is called, is the immersion of our will in the pure love of God via the virtues of charity, hope, prudence, fortitude, temperance and justice. The beauty of spirit to which a religious is called, is the exaltation of our mind and heart and body in the contemplation of God for his own sake and the dedication of our life to the works of mercy towards all.

The beauty of a religious vocation is seen so clearly in the life of the Blessed Virgin Mary, whose beauty of mind is so remarkably seen in the Magnificat, whose beauty of heart is so remarkable seen in her silent witness at the foot of the cross, and whose beauty of spirit is the sight which so many saints and holy souls have longed for and sought ought with so much prayer and fasting and good works. Indeed Our Blessed Mother is so beautiful that she has single handedly inspired the greatest of artists to the work of beauty.

The beauty of a religious vocation is seen also very clearly in the life of the Saints. How the saints inspire us to virtue, console us with their words, enlighten us with their teachings, encourage us in sorrows and urge us on to the perfection of charity. The saints are our best friends. How great an honor, if God should grant us the desire to follow in their footsteps. Thought not all Saints where religious; nearly all saints were religious, or if they were not, they lived more like religious than even some religious.

The Honor of a Religious Vocation

The honor of a religious vocation is derived from the One whom a religious serves. There is nothing greater than the service of the Most High and Blessed God, Three and One, the Eternal Lord, the Everlasting Creator, He who is all good, wholly good, without whom nothing is good.

Without God there is not honor, with God there is all honor; to serve God a little is a already a great honor, to serve Him faithfully a greater honor; but to serve Him faithfully and perfectly, that is entirely and wholly and perseveringly: this is the greatest honor, a sublime destiny and the work meriting a stupendous and amazing reward.

The honor of a religious vocation is the honor of serving a Great King, a most noble Redeemer, and a most powerful Master.

A religious is called to serve a Great King. Consider how High God is and you will being to understand the honor of a religious vocation. God is in His being beyond all angels and creatures: He is so good that all creatures by nature must desire either Himself or His works. He is so beautify that death would be the immediate result of seeing Him, so much would our soul flee the service of the body so as to grasp Him. He is so true, that to know Him as He is, is the root of immortality.

A religious is called to serve a most noble Redeemer. God the Son became a lowly man, a poor man, a crucified a rejected Messiah, so that by His poverty all of us might be rich in grace. God gave, God gives, and God will give of Himself and His riches to poor wretches sinners like ourselves. He is most generous, most giving, and most forgiving. What greater captain, general or lord is there to follow?

A religious is called to serve a most powerful Master. His faithful servants healed the sick, raised the dead, cursed to death the enemies of the Church, exorcised demons, and worked all manners of miracles. These were gifts which God gave them to manifest the even greater and truly safe spiritual gift which He gave them: the life of grace. God by His grace is Lord of heaven and earth. To serve him as a religious is to be taken up into a supernatural life, conversing with angels and saints and Our Lady, by faith.

How great then the honor of a religious vocation It is an honor to serve in the armed forces of one’s nation, to protect the safety of us all from temporal dangers. How much greater an honor to serve in the army of the God, the army of the Church Militant, to protect the Church from spiritual dangers? He who serves God faithfully in this life, will merit unimaginable riches in the life to come.

The Glory of a Religious Vocation

The glory of a religious vocation is the immense reward that lies in wait for the faithful religious. This reward is so great that if it were clearly known all the faithful would rush upon monasteries and convents in such numbers that the police would have to be called in just to control the crowds.

The glory of a religious vocation is the tremendous riches of heaven which are for all who serve God faithfully and over and above this very special graces and gifts which shall only be given to religious. Such are not even given to those saints who were not religious.

Eye has not seen, ear has not heard, nor has it even entered into the mind of man what God has prepared for those who love him. To love God is to keep His commandments out of love for Him. But to love God perfectly is to love Him with one’s whole mind, heart, soul and strength, and this is perfectly fulfilled in the whole and entire and perfect and pure dedication of a religious soul. So then how great is the glory of the religious in the world to come? It is beyond imagining, so I would be a liar if I described it in words. I imagine it to be so truly, greatly, beautifully, wonderfully, stupendously good, that it would be stunning and truly beatifying. But I am certain that it is greater than all this. For God loves a generous giver. And the blessedness of Heaven consists essentially in God’s giving of Himself, as He is, to the soul by an ontologic contact of mind to mind, will to will, spirit to spirit. Such an embrace is truly to be wondered at. But how much more the embrace of One who has be all the more loved. Such is the blessedness of the religious in Heaven.

The Duties of a Religious Vocation

A religious has the duty to know, love and serve God. To know Him by prayer, meditation and the study of Catholic teaching and scripture in this light. To love Him by keeping the commandments and following His precepts and by works of charity for our neighbor. To serve Him by being faithful and persevering in what he has promised until death.

A religious vows poverty, obedience and chastity. Poverty, in that he forsakes personal property and shares everything with his community. Obedience, in that he forsakes his own will, and does what his superior’s legitimately ask him to do for the community or the Church. Chastity, in that he forsakes all carnal pleasure, of body or mind, and lives with the innocence of a child who is concerned with pure things, holy things, heavenly things, and not those of the earth.

Such duties encompass the entire day and year and life of a religious. A religious should consider vacations and remuneration shameful. What he does and is, is for God alone; and no recompense in the life is comparable. Indeed it is so unequal to the beauty, honor, greatness, and glory of a religious vocation that it is a lie and a deceit to compare it to a career or job. The Church will only be restored with religious who are what they are and do what they do for His sake.

The Need for Religious

There is a very great and urgent need for religious today. With the dissolution of religious life there is obviously a need for new religious and new communities. With the loss of so many priests and brothers and sisters in decades following the Second Vatican Council there is obviously a need for others to take their place. But there is also a need for good and faithful, holy and generous religious. If there has been failure in recent years and a dissolution and leaving of many of the faithful, it is only because the prayers and example and works of religious were lacking. Religious are like Moses on the mountain above the plains of battle; when they let down their arms the Church suffers loss.

“Who shall go for My sake?” says the Lord. It is the religious who says: “Here I am Lord, send me!”

Conclusion

The religious vocation is a call to be a disciple, a soldier, a knight, a servant, and a son. What calling is greater? What destiny more worthwhile?

May God grant you each such a desire; and if you do not desire this, beg Him for it, or at least beg Him to grant this desire to others.

Salus populi romani: March 30, 2020

Perpetual Supplica

THESE PRAYERS ARE SAID EACH MIDNIGHT
IN FRONT OF THE BASILICA OF SANTA MARIA MAGGIORE AT ROME

This devotion is inspired by the request made by Our Lady Herself in
Bl. Anne Catherine Emmerich’s Vision of

August 25, 1822: “I know not now how I went to Rome last night, but I found myself near the church of Santa Maria Maggiore. Around it I saw crowds of poor, pious souls, in great distress and anxiety on account of the Pope’s disappearance and the agitation and alarming reports throughout the city. Led by one common impulse, they had come to invoke the Mother of God. They did not expect to find the church open, they intended only to pray outside. But I was inside, I opened the door and they entered, astounded at the door’s opening of itself. I was standing aloof where they could not see me. There was no service, only the chancel-lamps were burning, and the people knelt in quiet prayer. Then the Mother of God appeared. She said that great tribulations were at hand; that the people must pray earnestly with extended arms, if only for the length of three Our Fathers, for it was thus that her Son had prayed for them upon the Cross; that they should rise at midnight to pray thus; that they should continue to come to Her church which they would always find open; and that they should, above all, pray for the extirpation of the Church of Darkness. … I know not whether the people saw the apparition or not, but they must have been impressed by something supernatural for, when the Blessed Virgin said they should pray to God with arms extended, all lifted up their arms … It seemed to be an association of prayer.” From this time Sister Emmerich assisted nightly at the pious exercises at Santa Maria Maggiore. Trust in God!

by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

The essence of Christianity is trust in God.

This should be obvious to anyone who knows the least thing about being a Christian. But when trials and tribulations come upon a man, his faith in Christ is put to the test, and he discovers how much of himself he is incapable.

Much more is this so during national or world crises.

The Corona pandemic, as numerous articles here at FromRome.Info have demonstrated, is nothing more than a political stunt by globalists seeking their own self interests without any reference to trust in Jesus Christ. That they are running about like chickens with their heads cut off should not surprise the Christian.

Without Jesus Christ, we are nothing. We lack all stability. We have no foundation.

This is because without Jesus Christ, there is no real trust in God. And without trust in God, the recognition that the tidal wave of tribulations into which you have come causes you to realize that of yourself you cannot survive it. And that very human and normal reaction causes tremendous fear.

This is why, to His disciples, when they saw Him walking on the water, Christ said: Take courage, do not be afraid! (Matthew 14:27).

He rebuked them, because while they were terrified by a storm on the Sea of Galilee they did not have the sense to see Him as their hope and anchor. So His words of encouragement were also a gentle rebuke.

The human race, during this induced panic, has come into a mighty storm and men without faith in Christ are leading mankind into stupid and insane responses.

As Christians, we should not be afraid, IF we are faithful to Jesus. Because if we are faithful, then He will protect us.

Keep the Commandments, repent of your sins, believe in Christ 100% and accept all his teachings. Pray and trust in Him. And do not run here or there looking for someone to save you, some miracle to indicate the path, or some vision to direct you. Jesus should be enough for you, even if the mountains fall into the sea or the heavens roll up and the world dissolve into fire. For the man who trust in Jesus and is faithful, these things are nothings. God is Omnipotent and will care for His own.

Palestrina: Ave Regina caelorum

As we continue our perusal of the sacred repertoire of  Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, the greatest Italian composer of the 16th century, we hear his Ave Regina caelorum, the Marian Antiphon to be used in the Roman Missal from February 2 until Wednesday of Holy Week.

The performance is by Chanticleer.

FromRome.Info features at 5 P.M. daily, Rome time, a selection of sacred music for the edification of our readers, so that they can better grasp how contrary to the very nature of Catholic liturgy were the so called “reforms” of Vatican II.

The Myths of Wuhan: how numbers were exaggerated to justify imprisoning 57 million Chinese

by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

In a scenario which was first executed in China but which has now come to your country, the response to the Wuhan Virus has been eerily similar and it has been the same one as the Marxist Dictatorship of China.

Wake up to the brave new world order, in which you live!

We have heard weeks on end of propaganda about the horrible plague in Wuhan, which has killed untold numbers of individuals.

But the facts show that int he 4th quarter of 2019, the total number of deaths, counted by burials, was only 1583 higher than the same period in 2018!  And this for a city of 16 Million! This, statistically, is only an increase of 2.8%, on a death rate that is only 1.4 per hundred annually. Not even a blip by the numbers — though we cannot discount the tragedy of even one human life lost.

So to prevent 1583 deaths, the Dictatorship of Peking ordered the largest act of de facto imprisonment in world history: 57 million persons were confined to their homes in Hubei province!

In Archeology we know this: you can fake estimate upon estimate of statistics about population and sickness. But if you cannot find the graves, then the truth is rather quite different.

Admittedly those burial stats are for the last Quarter of 2019. The information is not yet in for 2020.

But what is proven and undeniable is, however, the imprisonment of several billion human beings. The foe, a virus which is as much as 1/10 as lethal as the common winter flu.

Perhaps the leaders of the world have gone mad. But it might just be that those who lobby them to make decisions which benefit this industry or that, have been overly effective.

But what industry would that be? Hmmmmmm.

Even if no more people die, I think we will be seeing a massive push in every nation for new laws to empower the World Health Organization to take control of sovereign nations in the next pandemic. New laws to require that we all get vaccinated for Coronavirus. And new regulations that we cannot leave our homes, work, or engage in any economic activity without certifying that we, like all livestock, are healthy and disease free.

Welcome to the cowardly new world of population management. What is next, sterilizing us secretly with vaccines to reduce the world to 500 Million? Nah, that would be a conspiracy theory, except for the fact, that it was already tried in Kenya.

The Corona Crisis in Italy

by Francesco Lamendola

FromRome.Info’s English translation of the original Italian article, entitled:

Ora, Almeno, Le Cose Diventano Chiare

PUBLISHED ON MARCH 24, 2020

We must “thank” the Coronavirus because, in this emergency situation, finally things have become much clearer: it is in moments of crisis, in fact, that the naked truth of people emerges and you can see who is made of wax and who is made of flesh and blood.

We thought we were living in a democracy. Now we have discovered that a Mr. X can close Parliament with a stroke of the pen and lock up sixty million people at home, and no one dares to say “Bah!”: no one, from the President of the Republic downwards. Not even Mussolini had gone that far. We observe, incidentally, that if Salvini had still been in government, those same people who now invoke the state of necessity, dura lex, sed lex, would have started squawking like ducks, denouncing with loud shouts and fiery words his attack on democracy and establishment of a dictatorship.

We thought we had a public health service at European level, for which we pay top taxes, and we discovered that we had a Third World health service, with a number of beds, intensive care equipment and even antibacterial masks for medical and nursing staff, ridiculously inferior to the needs of an emergency situation. Which objectively is not particularly dramatic: we are not in the presence of a pestilence, but of a slightly worse influenza than usual and which spreads faster. So the drama is not the virus, but the total unpreparedness of our health machine, dismantled by two decades of frenzied cuts. It’s like discovering that when war breaks out, the army has the troops and even the cannons, but not the bullets. It is called lack of foresight and it is not the fault of the Holy Spirit.

We believed that science would tell us what to do and how to evaluate an epidemic, but now we see scientists arguing furiously with each other and threatening to sue each other because of what they say, because of the assessments they make about the health emergency. It has been understood that in the final analysis they are in charge, it is they who make the decisions for the good of the Italian people, in their unquestionable judgement, and not politics; but there is discord among them, and so we ask ourselves: to which of them should we lend faith? It is impossible to find an answer: if disagreement reigns among the technicians, what can we understand, that we are not technicians?

We believed that the forces of law and order and the army existed for our protection and for the defense of our vital interests; that their institutional purpose was to protect our security against criminals and against possible external aggression. Now we find that they can be used to control us, to fine us, to denounce us, to treat us as criminals for committing the terrible crime of leaving home to go for a half-hour walk, or to go shopping with our wife who, perhaps because of her age or for other reasons, does not have enough strength in her arms to take home bags that are too heavy or a box of food. We discover that it is also a crime to take the car to pick up our daughter at the airport, who returned from abroad after a thousand difficulties, with a special flight organized by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, but remained blocked due to the absence of trains, physically and psychologically exhausted by the total lack of information and the closure of hotels, which forced her to spend a night in the open air: that the Carabinieri can stop us, impose a huge fine and trigger a criminal complaint against us.

We believed that the Catholic Church existed to give us spiritual comfort, to administer the Sacraments, to strengthen the faith in us, especially in times of particular difficulty; and we discover that she has been able to tell us absolutely nothing comforting, she has left us without Holy Mass, without the Eucharist, without Confession and even without funerals, all on the grounds that we must protect public health by avoiding mass gatherings. In this way we discover that the clergy has declared faith in God useless and totally commits themselves to science in order to seek salvation. We also note, in passing, that the same pope, the same bishops and the same priests who were preaching to us every day with their prayers of welcoming migrants, not to mention the environment, climate, plastic and biodiversity, have not been able to say a single good word to us, a single spiritual word, nor have they been capable of the smallest gesture of welcome and mercy towards us, the sheep of Christ’s flock, dazed and frightened under the hail of psychological state terrorism.

We believed, because we had been told to boredom, that borders are a very ugly thing, that we must let in anyone who wants to, break down walls, build bridges, embrace the Chinese and toast with an aperitif that Milan is not stopping, and so we would have shown those racists, nationalists and populists who talked about quarantine and closing borders; but instead we have found ourselves immersed in a nightmare of which we can not see the end, in which the other has become a danger, a contagion, a enemy to be kept at a distance, to be treated only with gloves and a mask. Now they no longer speak of kisses and hugs: these have become an attack on public health and a provocation to doctors who are committed to the point of exhaustion to wring death from hospital patients. It was not well understood when the change of course took place and when, for example, those governors who minimized and were astonished because some of their provinces had been included in the initial “red zone”, and announced that they would demand the revocation of these measures, began to preach and invoke ever more rigorous, ever more draconian measures, and sting the government because it does not do enough, is not strict enough, does not multiply the prohibitions and does not tighten the sanctions for transgressors. The fact is that this radical change has taken place, and it has taken place under our noses: but with such a suddenness, with such dexterity, that perhaps not even a magician or an illusionist would have been able to do better.

We thought we had a government that could not have been worse: unelected, unwanted, largely minority in the country, morally and politically discredited from the beginning for the cynicism with which it was done, putting together two parties that hate each other and that until the day before had spilled over avalanches of mutual contempt; but to have, on the other hand, a strong and constructive opposition, of centre-right parties, with clear ideas and two young leaders full of determination and initiative, capable of interpreting the true feelings of the Italian people (let us not speak of the third, the living corpse [Editor’s Note: Berlusconi] that insists on scheming for the interests of the ECB, as well as its own, like a Trojan horse); and to have, moreover, a gentleman in the role of President of the Republic, to act as an honest referee in the unpleasant and rigged game that is played between government and opposition. We have discovered, instead, that there is no opposition, because the self-styled opposition has, if anything, started to compete with the government, showing itself to be more realistic than the king and calling for even tougher emergency measures and police measures: as for the rest: no difference in method and approach to problems; no ideas, no grit, no nothing. As for the President, we have discovered that he is not at home.

We believed that the European Union would show, at least on this occasion, some of the cohesion and solidarity that we have always been promised and magnified, but which we have rarely seen at work; that at least this time there would be, on the part of the other Member States, some cooperation with our own, invaded first and most strongly by the virus; that negotiations would be suspended for the much controversial ESM, that the ECB would promptly grant a soft loan to Italy, or at least that it would hasten to cut the interest on the loans it will need to face the blockage of its economic activities and much of its industrial production. Instead, we have seen France insulting us and mocking us with outrageous and racist videos; Germany withholding medical supplies for itself and even requisitioning Chinese masks already purchased by an Italian company, in transit through its territory; Austria closing the Brenner Pass with the army and Slovenia interrupting the transit of Alpine crossings with stone barriers on the road; and as icing on the cake, the President of the ECB calmly declaring that it is not her job to keep the bond spread low, and automatically unleashing, with such words certainly not said at random, furious financial speculation that in a single day has burned 70 to 100 billion euros on our stock exchange.

We also believed we had, despite the overall disorganization, some of the brightest, freest and most original intelligences in the world, both in journalism and in culture and science. Instead, we discovered a flatness, a conformism, a disconcerting mediocrity in each of these fields. Journalists and intellectuals have literally competed in laying down on the most banal opinions and, coincidentally, on the indications and recommendations of the government, unconditionally approving the line of rigor and repression, adopting the opinion of the most alarming biologists, and contributing to spreading panic among the population with the utmost zeal. It is also true that only the politically correct points of view have found and find space in the mass media of national importance: if someone dares to express an opinion considered heterodox, he is immediately silenced and marginalized, as we have seen in the case of Vittorio Sgarbi, who is not used to be intimidated. And yet, perhaps by turning to the social media, we would have liked to see at least some of the great names in journalism and culture asking the power the uncomfortable questions we all want to ask: is it logical to quarantine sixty million people to protect a small part of them? Would it not have been more rational and easier to quarantine the latter? And does it make sense to impose the same restrictions and limitations on the municipalities most affected by the virus and those who do not register a single suspicious case? And why does the Prime Minister systematically choose the hours of the night to announce any new package of anti-accounting measures, while always remaining vague and never giving precise indications and a clear time limit? We are the only country in the world, including China, to have adopted such a line of containment and prevention, which means that national life is almost completely blocked: are we really the best and the most intelligent of all?

However, the most bitter and unpleasant surprises, let’s be honest, are not those that come from outside, but from ourselves, both psychologically and spiritually. Psychologically, we thought we were discreetly prepared to face the difficulties and the unforeseen events of life, and above all to come to terms with the idea of our mortality, and instead we discovered that we were totally unprepared and totally, irrationally terrified of the possibility of getting sick and dying: even if the numbers say that, so far, practically nobody has died only of Coronavirus. We have locked ourselves indoors, and we call for even stricter measures, and we watch our neighbor go out for a walk with his little dog, not so much because we are afraid of the fine and legal penalties, but because we are afraid to die. It is true that television, our almost only resource in times of quarantine, does its best, or its worst, to terrorize us, attacking us around the clock with an obsessive hammering on the epidemic and using hysterical and distressing tones. We, however, were prepared to let ourselves be influenced to the maximum, because we had unconsciously developed a sort of claim to immunity from disease and death. Which, without a doubt, reminds us not only of the lifestyles of diabolical consumerism, but also of the betrayal of the former Catholic clergy, who have long ceased to preach to us. Remember, man, that you are dust and in dust you will return, to milk our ears with much more melodic and soothing refrains, made of goodness and mercy at a kilo, in the style of the former Argentinean bouncer indecently absent from the chair of St. Peter. Spiritually we have realized the weakness, not to say the inconsistency, of our faith, if Catholic, and of our lay points of reference, if not believers. We have realized that we are fragile and frightened like children: because when the knots come to the comb, one discovers what a man is made of; and we have realized that we are made of wax.

Who knows what good may come from all this. It will not be an automatic thing: the hashtag #ItWillBeAllRight is nonsense, if understood as an automatically effective incantation. Trials do not make people better, if anything worse, if they are not lived with the right disposition of spirit. We must reconvert our lives from frivolity to seriousness, from unconsciousness to awareness, from superficiality to reflection. We have to go back to wondering who we are and what we are doing in the world, why we are in this world.

Standford Medical Experts: COVID-19 may be less than 1/10 as lethal as the winter flu

by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

Numerous medical experts are speaking out in recent days against the Corona Hype: the induced panic over the Wuhan Virus which is being promoted by the main stream media and entities controlled or funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation: a hype which has caused the civilized word “to go mad”, according to Alexander Lukashenko, President of Belarus (the Former Soviet State of Beloyrussia).

The latest experts to sound the alarm against the over-reaction are Doctors Eran Bendavid and Jayanta Bhattacharya of the prestigious Stanford University, in the United States of America. And they have impressive credentials to speak:

Dr. Bendavid, M.D., is an Associate Professor of Medicine – Primary Care and Population Health, a Senior Fellow at Standford’s Woods Institute for the Environment, a Member of the Maternal and Child Health Research Institute and a Fellow at The Center for Innovation and Global Health.

Dr. Bhattacharya, M. D., who also holds a Ph. D. in Economics, is a Professor of Medicine – Primary Care Outcomes Research, a Senior Fellow at Stanford’s Institute for Economic Policy Research, currently the Director for Standford’s Center for the Demography and Economics of Health and Aging, and an Associate in the National Center for Economics Research.

Drs. Bendavid and Bhattacharya, in their editorial to the Wall Street Journal, of March, 24, 2020, write:

If it’s true that the novel coronavirus would kill millions without shelter-in-place orders and quarantines, then the extraordinary measures being carried out in cities and states around the country are surely justified, … But, there’s little evidence to confirm that premise — and projections of the death toll could plausibly be orders of magnitude too high.

And,

Fear of Covid-19 is based on its high estimated case fatality rate — 2% to 4% of people with confirmed Covid-19 have died, according to the World Health Organization and others, … So if 100 million Americans ultimately get the disease, 2 million to 4 million could die. We believe that estimate is deeply flawed. The true fatality rate is the portion of those infected who die, not the deaths from identified positive cases.

And finally,

Existing evidence suggests that the virus is highly transmissible and that the number of infections doubles roughly every three days. An epidemic seed on Jan. 1 implies that by March 9 about six million people in the U.S. would have been infected. As of March 23, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, there were 499 Covid-19 deaths in the U.S. If our surmise of six million cases is accurate, that’s a mortality rate of 0.01%, assuming a two week lag between infection and death. This is one-tenth of the flu mortality rate of 0.1%. Such a low death rate would be cause for optimism.

Meanwhile the Italian Ministry of Health is contributing to world panic by knowingly misrepresenting the number of deaths in Italy by counting all those who had coronavirus who died, as victims of the disease, while admitting that only 12% have death certificates which say they died of coronavirus. Furthermore, only 0.2% who are counted as victims had no known pathologies before being admitted to the Hospital.

FromRome.Info has been publishing a series of reports since mid-March exposing the misrepresentation of statistics in regard to the Wuhan Virus and who is behind engineering the panic. See a list of our reports, here.

Italian Ministry of the Interior relents: Catholics can pray again in Church

by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

It’s not total victory against the arbitrary, prejudiced, irrational, unjust, bigoted persecution of the Catholics of Italy, but its a step back to normality: the Italian Ministry of the Interior in an official explanation of the Health Decrees against Coronavirus spread, has affirmed the following:

  • Catholics can visit the local church or Parish to pray if they are on their way to work or to buy groceries or a newspaper or are engaged in necessary exercise or are walking their dog or must visit someone who cannot care for himself.
  • Ceremonies such as Weddings which do not require the violation of the prescribed social-distancing of 1 meter are permitted.
  • Holy Week Services can be transmitted from Churches where the minimum number of clergy and assistants are present.

Of course, this is merely throwing crumbs to the peasants, but Catholics now have permission to show their faith without fear and if they do so in numbers, it will soon be impossible for the Ministry of the Interior to sustain the crackdown on Christianity that they have perpetrated with malice and total incompetence of the power of the Risen Lord to care for his own.

The official newspaper of the Italian Bishop’s Conference is claiming that the new provisions are the fruit of the dialogue of their Secretary with Prime Minister’s Office and the Minister of the Interior.

If so, then, the Secretary should be sacked, in my opinion, because he has conceded the principles and all the chief points.

However, this decision of the Italian Ministry of the Interior is a precedent to cite in the rest of the world to those governmental authorities and Church leaders who have totally closed the Churches.

The Bilderberg Network for global domination

by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

If the world is going to be enslaved by demonic forces, those forces must have an organization capable of enslaving the world. At present there is one such organization or group which is positioned to do it. Whether they do or not, is to be seen.

I speak of the Bilderbergers, the elite secretive organization of Freemasons who seek to control the entire world for themselves.

Business Insider, one of the leading publications for Business News in the United States, and certainly not one to condone conspiracy theories of any kind, published a graphic showing the groups controlled or subordinated to Bilderberg, in an article published in June of 2012. Click the image to see the full size:

bilderberg

The graphic was first published on May 29, 2012 at leakedsource.wordpress.com, a blog which was suspended by WordPress for some sort of violation. It is now found on more than 40 sites around the web.

As Editor of FromRome.Info I am looking for volunteer investigators to search the names of everyone who has ever attended the Bilderberg meetings and report which ones are from your country. This I believe is a necessary project to defend Christian liberty throughout the world. Once you have your report prepared, contact me through the About Page, here at FromRome.Info. Thank you!

If you find good resources for researching Bilderberg, please share a link to them in the comments below, for fellow investigators.

Salus populi romani: March 29, 2020

Bill Gates: What YOU MUST do to respond to Coronavirus!

Listen carefully to what he says you MUST do, to understand how Bill Gates wants to direct the response to the Corona Hype and how he is dedicated to promoting it for his own personal gain. And he definitely wants to become the world health dictator, to control your life from now own.

Specifically see how at 7:15 in this video, he responds to the question as to when he knew Coronavirus was going to be a world threat. Watch his eyes, how he glances down away from the camera and how he fudges his response. It is clear he knew a long time before January about Coronavirus! He even begins to laugh, to show he knows he is lying.

Bill Gates knew of the Coronavirus pandemic beforehand

Bill Gates sapeva già della pandemia del coronavirus

First Published: January 25, 2020

For some, the arrival of a mysterious new deadly new virus from the coronavirus family was not at all unexpected.

Eric Toner, a scientist at the John Hopkins Center for Health Security, had in fact developed a study as early as 3 months ago where it was expected the spread of this type of virus on a large scale.

The simulation developed by Toner for the World Economic Forum and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has impressive similarities with what is happening today.

In the study of the American scientist, the coronavirus, called CAPS, does not spread from China to the rest of the world, but rather from Brazil and then spread to all the major urban centers of Latin America.

The characteristics of CAPS are almost identical to those of its Chinese relative. Both are transmitted from animal to man and then mutate later and spread from man to man.

In the case examined by Toner, the infection is contracted by pigs while in the case of Wuhan it is thought a probable contagion originated by snakes or bats.

CAPS gives the same symptoms as the Chinese virus. At the beginning there are respiratory problems and cold, symptoms almost identical to those of the flu and rather difficult to recognize. The Brazilian virus then spreads more and more and begins to claim victims all over Latin America.

The mortality rate of the Brazilian CAPS is quite high enough to lead to the death of 65 million people within 18 months.

To date, the mysterious Wuhan coronavirus has killed 41 people and the first cases of contagion have already been recorded in France, Japan, Saudi Arabia and the United States.

Neil Ferguson, a virologist at Imperial College, London, said that the Chinese virus could have the same mortality rate as the Spanish flu and consequently lead to the deaths of 195 million people.

Despite the fact that cases are beginning to appear all over the world, health organisations have not yet defined the current situation as a pandemic.

However, it is rather odd how the great think-tanks and globalist foundations have taken an interest in the spread of the coronavirus family.

The world economic forum that contributed to the implementation of the simulation in question is in fact considered to be the elite of the world financial elite that have recently met at their usual annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland.

The well-known environmental activist Greta Thunberg was also hosted in Davos and strongly recommended a zero-emission economic model.

Another proposal is also being put forward by supporters of climate change theories such as Greta. Feminist environmentalist Verena Brunschweiger, a feminist environmentalist, has recently proposed to put an end to human reproduction in order to save the environment.

In other words, man should choose his own extinction in favor of the alleged protection of the ecosystem.

Basically, the real goal of this movement would not seem to be so much to save the environment as to reduce the Earth’s population.

A thesis that does not seem at all to displease the globalist elite of Davos who seem to show a keen interest in deadly viruses capable of achieving this goal.

Bill Gates’ enormous profits from vaccines

Bill Clinton’s foundation, on the other hand, has long been at the forefront of vaccines and has invested considerable sums of money in their dissemination.

It was Bill Gates himself at the Davos forum in 2019 who explained how he made huge profits from this activity.

The U.S. entrepreneur’s foundation has invested about $10 billion in the spread of vaccines, which has guaranteed him an economic return of 20 to 1, which means the huge sum of $200 billion.

The interest shown by the large multinationals for the diffusion of vaccines does not seem to be linked only to philanthropic purposes, but especially to those of a speculative nature.

The coincidence is that the same centers of global economic power interested in having increasing profits from vaccines have collaborated in a study that actually predicted the spread of the coronavirus already in October last year.

Scientists rushed to say that a vaccine could be ready in three months’ time.

It should come as no surprise, therefore, that the father of Microsoft will be investing in the production of this future vaccine, and he has made a huge profit from this activity.

But the Toner simulation is not limited to examining the effects of the coronavirus on human health. It also takes into account the consequences on the financial markets. Such a pandemic would lead to a market crash, estimated at 20 to 40%, and a vertical fall in world GDP of 11%.

Knowing in advance what could happen in such a situation could prove to be extremely advantageous for financial speculators who could place numerous downside bets on market performance.

The Hong Kong stock exchange fell 2.8% after the spread of the Chinese virus due to the mass cancellation of flights and reservations.

According to the American virologist, this should not come as a surprise as “we live in an age of epidemics”.

Apparently, in this era the great elites seem to be perfectly aware of what could happen with this type of epidemics and they also seem to be the first to benefit the most from them.

Palestrina: Exsultate Deo

As we continue our perusal of the sacred repertoire of  Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, the greatest Italian composer of the 16th century, we hear his Exsultate Deo, the Introit for Feriae IV in the Ember days of September.

The performance is by the Voices of Ascension.

FromRome.Info features at 5 P.M. daily, Rome time, a selection of sacred music for the edification of our readers, so that they can better grasp how contrary to the very nature of Catholic liturgy were the so called “reforms” of Vatican II.

When the Master of the Vineyard comes

by Don Elia, Catholic priest

Dominus de caelo prospexit super filios hominum, ut videat si est intellegens, aut requirens Deum. Vacate, et videte quoniam ego sum Deus: exaltabor in gentibus, et exaltabor in terra (Ps 13, 2; 45, 11).

Two weeks ago the Church in Italy woke up and to her surprise discovered she had become the Chinese Patriotic Association.

An exceptional situation brought to light what our Pastors really are. The unconditional subjection which, in these weeks, they are demonstrating towards the State is something which, in the history of the country, had not yet been seen, not even in the Ventennio (the era of Benito Mussolini: October 1922-1943). At that time, on the other hand, priests and bishops generally had the attributes and had been tempered by sixty years of confrontation with a declaredly Masonic regime.

But now seven decades of prostitution with various lovers, instead, have tamed our hierarchy into more than a walking dog: things never seen before, not even in the times of the bubonic plague. After all, the Church, they say, has opened herself up to a world, which certainly did not respond with conversion but rather has come to triumphantly install itself within her with its ideas, its vices and its pretensions. To lower one’s guard and embrace the enemy, when one is in battle, is obviously suicide, but a pastoral council unilaterally decreed that the war was over and that the adversaries – whether they knew it or not – had all become our brothers. The worst, however, is that this surrender disguised as an offer of friendship was the result of a denial of faith or, better, of its replacement with an ideological surrogate compatible with worldly thinking.

By now it is clear: what is taught in seminaries and theological faculties, to be then cleared through customs in parishes, is no longer the Catholic faith, but a vulgar forgery of it. The luminous clarity and virile incisiveness of traditional doctrine have been replaced by a mixture of smoky, bumpy and puerile ideas that cloud minds, when they do not come to reduce brains to mush. The behavior of the clergy in recent weeks is a factual demonstration of this sad reality. The outgoing ministers of the Church, indomitable heralds of indiscriminate welcome, open ports, ‘bridges instead of walls’, are entrenched behind heavy armored doors in their rectories and bishoprics, keeping at a safe distance those few faithful so senseless as to go to ask for absolution or communion… “Unbelievable! To demand these luxuries at a time of such danger! But there are still those who have not understood that everything has changed: by now we have discovered that the good Lord is merciful – and therefore everyone is saved, whether they want to be saved or not.” — Paradise has become obligatory; the Sacraments, on the other hand, are merely optional invigorating agents. And then, we are finally forced to fully recognize the value of the common priesthood of all the faithful!… What shall we call this type of argumentation? Theological brigandage?

A certain clergy is so “advanced” that they do not realize that their image of God is nothing more than the projection of an immature self that considers Him a distributor of confirmations, regardless of the real state of the soul, merits and demerits. This bizarre idea (which totally ignores the notion of subsisting Being, with all that follows) derives from a strange mixture of a spurious biblicalism that selects and deforms Scripture detached from Tradition and a twisted psychology that sanctions vice and sin as normality. In fact, it is a mere imaginary means that serves to reassure the “I” in times of difficulty, but it is incapable of intervening effectively in human affairs and, as a result, turns out to be insignificant: it is something one can do without, unless it becomes useful as an ingredient of positive thinking. Such a vain conception would be simply ridiculous, if it did not lead straight to practical atheism, typical of the consumerist attitude of contemporary society. The theoretical one, although rationally absurd, is far more demanding, since it forces man to grit his teeth and do everything himself, however vainly and hopelessly.

Certain decisions give the impression that a substantial part of the pretenders no longer believes in anything, but uses its position in the Church solely to ensure material security unencumbered by serious and constant commitment. From this point of view, the sustenance of the clergy has been resolved at the serious expense of pastoral ministry, since it is dispensed without any relation to the real efficiency of a priest. In order to make a living, at one time, most priests had to make a concrete effort; before the institution of the state-pension for priests, parish priests lived off the offerings of the faithful and the ecclesiastical benefits, things that evidently varied greatly from place to place. In any case, whatever their needs, they consumed themselves by spending even hours at the bedside of every dying person in their parish, plying their way through the streets to bring communion to the sick or for the numerous processions that marked the liturgical year, locking himself up for whole days in the confessional on the occasion of great feasts… This does not mean, of course, that everything was done out of pure zeal of souls, but that there was a sense of duty that the current system, animated by that fake theology that justifies everything and the opposite of everything, has simply annihilated.

The new Concordat, on the basis of post-conciliar pseudo-theology, has practically transformed clerics into well gagged and trained civil servants, of a loyalty and surrender that one would not even dream of demanding from others. The bishops reacted to the health emergency as sub-prefects of a strictly atheistic regime: Congratulations! The worst form of clericalism is that of those who, by covering themselves under the dispositions of civil authority and implicitly placing it above divine authority, deprive the faithful of the spiritual goods to which they have a sacrosanct right and abandon them to themselves in their hour of need. These clergy have revealed themselves for what they are: mercenaries. It was inevitable, on the other hand, that those who read Mao as young men would then find themselves carrying out the same duties as an official of the department for religious affairs of the Chinese Communist Party, just like a bishop or a priest enrolled in the Patriotic Association. The Catholic Church, in a similar context, can also formally exist, but only under total governmental control, suspended from a nod of approval or denial by any dictatorship of the nomenklatura. This is further confirmation that the Marxist regimes have been nothing more than a large-scale experiment of a fully bureaucratic world order, with a fully planned economy and absolute supervision of the population, reduced to a consumer mass whose needs are artificially determined by occult powers.

Atheistic materialism, functional to this result, has become the usual mental atmosphere also in the West, in the theoretically “free” countries. The “Church” in dialogue with the world, coherently, has launched itself into environmentalist battles for the defense of the common home, but it has nothing more to say to lighten the drama of illness and death. The best she can do is prostrate herself at the feet of state officials, completely forgetting the obligations that derive from her mission: she no longer knows how to speak of eternal salvation, of atoning suffering, of just punishment, of abandonment to Providence… All this, just as it horrifies the dominant thought, so it repulses many of her own ministers, who show that they no longer believe in it and, for this reason, no longer have any reason to be (other than the task and sustenance). What do you want celibacy to count for those who have lost their identity and lost their reason for being in the world? The problem is much deeper than the sacrosanct ecclesiastical discipline, but with the usual diversionary operation they have managed to divert attention by setting fire to the debate on a particular point, so as to make the real poison of the Amazonian synod, naturalistic pantheism, go unnoticed.

Thus goes the “faith” of most of the clergy: it is a bland Enlightenment deism: their “divinity” is a vague reassuring idea, an indefinite entity that should comfort us in difficult times, but is unable to intervene in creation or history; the concept of divine punishment would be nothing more than a legacy paying tribute to myth. The Marxist mentality that has permeated today’s culture is easily reconciled (being a further development) with the Kantian vision of a religiosity devoid of transcendence, but immanent to human thought, which is rooted in the subjectivism of the Lutheran conception of faith. If then we want to try to explain the incredible mental rigidity shown, in the present conjuncture, by an otherwise super-elastic clergy in areas in which it is instead strictly bound, we must go back to the common source of such aberrations, that is, to the Phariseism of those who filter the gnats and swallow the camels. It is Talmudic Judaism, with its overwhelming claim to ensure absolute impeccability excluding even the slightest or remote possibility of being accused. Following a similar criterion, even going to pray in a church could spread the contagion and is therefore automatically equivalent to killing an unspecified number of people. In their absurd ramblings, they do not realize that, with their serious omissions, they kill a large number of souls, starting with their own.

The effects of ecclesiastical measures, thus, are worse than those of the virus. The Gospel, instead, continually shows us that Jesus, in order to obey the Father, apparently disobeyed the religious authorities of His time, who with artificial doctrines had manipulated the divine law for their use and consumption until it was annulled. That the contagion is spread by going to church is an extremely remote danger and therefore does not involve the slightest moral responsibility. On the other hand, do people not go to work, to the supermarket or the pharmacy, since they cannot do without it? The same risk that one runs in order to ensure the nourishment and health of the body, cannot one run in order to guarantee those of the soul? But what do our Pastors believe in, if they still believe in anything at all?

As one of the faithful of Rome writing to me said, in this circumstance, “one is discovering who is a true priest and who is not”. Another reader observes that, after this emergency, “nothing will be the same as before”. She is right: the Lord is sifting His ministers to distinguish clearly who still has faith from those who have lost it or have never had it, who is worthy of trust from those who play a sleazy comedy, who is to be followed by those who are to be abandoned. Many clerics have lost all credibility; the faithful people will know well how to deal with them.

And so “the Lord, from heaven, looks to the children of men to see if there is one who is intelligent or who seeks God” (Ps 13:2) with prayer and penance; but he must take note that “all have deviated and at the same time have become useless” (Ps 13:3). The Almighty therefore thunders with a mighty voice to launch an extreme call: “Calm yourselves and consider that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted on earth” (Ps 45:11). It is the living God who speaks, the Creator of the world and Lord of history, the One who has total control of nature and gives to each one according to His works (cf. Ps 61:13; Pr 24:12; Jer 32:19; Mt 16:27; Rom 2:6; Rev 22:12). He punishes evil, both in this life and in the future, but in His mercy He uses the scourges also for our correction. This is how God revealed Himself: after eliminating the Tradition, do they want to trash even the Bible? Will they be so impudent, in the colossal mystification they are perpetrating, as to reach such a degree of intellectual dishonesty? They’d better think it over. Therefore, multiply the Rosaries for their conversion, as well as, of course, for the protection of your families! for the end of the epidemic, for the healing of the sick and – not least – for many who die without religious comfort and without funeral.

When the master of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those farmers? He will make the wicked wretched perish miserably and entrust his vineyard to other peasants, who will bear fruit in their time (Mt 21:41).
