Allen: If Pope Francis might be about to change the rules of the Conclave, so what?

Editor’s Note: Here is where, even John Allen admits the truths FromRome.Info has spoken about for more than 2 years, that in ancient times, from the beginning, the Clergy and the Laity of the Church of Rome elected the Pope. He is referring to the original manner of papal elections, by Apostolic Right.

I am not too concerned about a pope changing the rules for the election of his successor, so long as the rule of Apostolic Tradition is not transgressed, namely, that only those can be electors who are members of the Church of Rome, and for the laity that requires that they hold canonical residence, but for the clergy that they are incardinated in the Church of Rome. Here “Rome” refers to the  Church which is represented by the Diocese of Rome and its suburbican suffragan dioceses, all of which were once part of her in apostolic times.

If a new papal law did include those as electors (with active right to chose the pope) who were not members of the Church of Rome, the law would be invalid, and that would create chaos in the Church, since the one elected would be elected in a doubtful manner.

I am not too concerned, however, because whether man changes the rules he can change, or does not change them, God wins in the end.

In 2024, A World Wide Rosary Crusade for the salvation of the Roman Church

Editor’s Note: I am a strong believer in the power of prayer, when the intention is right. And praying for the salvation of the Church, especially of the Church of Rome, is always a good thing. So, while those sponsoring this may not know what this means canonically, there is no harm in joining in such a holy resolution, to pray the Rosary Daily. Just avoid signing up for emails which might actually contain information to turn your mind away from saving the Church, since Bishop Schneider, who is sponsoring this, is a notorious opponent of the received doctrine on heresy.

Benedict XVI Sedevacantists hold online conference to complain about Pope Francis

Editor’s Note: I could do a 2 hour video listing the errors found in this video, but it would be tiresome. Nevertheless I publish this for those who are curious about the development of their position.

Everyone in this video did absolutely nothing to see that the Apostolic See had a successor to Pope Benedict XVI. And from that you can gather quite easily that they are not being sincere when they say they want a Catholic Pope or a canonically valid pope. — This video therefore will surely contain some elegant and sophisticated theatricals.

And I can end my introduction, with, “I told you so”, because if you did not participate in supporting the Assembly by Catholics of Rome to elect Pope Benedict XVI’s successor on January 30th, of this year, of 2023, then you were and still are grifting on the issue, and no one should believe anything you say, as you have entirely discredited yourselves.

In fact, if you are willing to do a conference with Archbishop Viganò, who says Benedict XVI unpoped himself in Feb. 28, 2013, then you are doing what you told everyone since 2016 should never be done, that is, condone that the Conclave of 2013 was canonically valid, at least in its being convened. — And thus, you show that grifting on a problem is more important to you than both the truth and consistency. And yes, Anne Barnhardt does make it clear on her web site that she is more interested in views than in removing Bergoglio, because no canonical solution is proposed and no action item other than vain proposals which would require a Catholic pope, are given.

But how are we to get a Catholic pope, if as you say there can no longer be a valid Conclave if Pope Francis’s cardinals attend?

A souffle of hypocrisy, that is, all that this is, in the end. Shameful.

But don’t get me wrong, the charges against Bergoglio should be brought in Council. What is disconcerting is that some want to talk about the charges but not bring them.

Oh, and if you ever meet anyone of these, mention to them the Sutri Initiative, and don’t be surprised if then you watch them run for the hills. Because it takes love of the Church and a real desire to solve the problem, to want a solution and work for it.

Now Archbishop Viganò has become the Confliction of the Grifter Collective

an Editorial by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

Christ never intended that laymen and women preach, teach or rule His Church. He intended and does intend and will intend only that the Apostles, Bishops and priests do these things in accord with the laws He and the His Church have established.

But since the Second Vatican Council, which was instigated by the US Department of Defense’s Program for Ideological Warfare against the Church (see here) and executed under the leadership of Henry Luce Booth and Time/Life CIA assets, who coined “the spirit of the Council”, there has arisen in the Catholic Church a group of laymen who without any ecclesiastical mandate from their Bishops or the Pope, undertake to lead and guide the Faithful, though nearly none of them have a degree in theology, and the few who do do not even accept the Magisterium of the Church or the obligation of Canon Law.

And so we have, what I call “the grifter Collective”, which is a group which strives to garner likes, favs, and above all donations, fame and influence, by teaching things they have no right to teach and embracing every novelty which helps them arrive at such goals.

Thus they employ themselves in a daily criticism of Church events, and especially are devoted to promoting scandal in the Church by reporting it only in a spirit of defiance of authority and desperation that there is no other solution other than supporting them in reporting it today, lamenting about it tomorrow, and holding fast to the one rule they have, which is that you do nothing but financially support them.

For this Grifter Collective, because of their very nature, the decision by Archbishop Viganò to start a house of formation for priests, as well as the reports that he has begun to ordain priests and maybe even Bishops, without any ecclesiastical license or faculty to do so, will be rock upon which they shipwreck their souls and those of the millions of souls who follow them in their follies.

For they will praise him for defying the Pope, for being pragmatic in the face of unjust persecution, for promoting vocations, and for doing the only thing he can do.   And in this, they will lead souls astray by misrepresenting Canon Law, the nature of the Church, and Christ’s will for His Church.

And since the Grifter Collective have no inclination to forsake their own will for the sake of the Church, since they have never forsaken anything for the sake of Jesus Christ, as Priests and Religious do, then, since they have no true ecclesiastical spirit, they will be drawn like iron dust to the magnet of their own vain pursuit of favs, clicks, and donations.

This will include the tactics of the double face and of the double mind, in which on one day they will praise the Archbishop, and another concede he is doing wrong, and the third day praise him again for doing something to defy the pope, admitting the truth of the faith on some occasions while equating the falsehood of disobedience and despair at other times.

This Archbishop, then, will be the source of their moral and intellectual confliction, because they will be conflicted as to what pole of loyalty to adhere to, the Catholic one by which they draw unsuspecting souls to follow them, or the vainglorious one by which they draw souls to themselves rather than to Christ.

For this they will have to trouble themselves greatly in the next few months and years to figure out how to feign to be Catholic while unmasking themselves as adherents and promoters of schism.

You won’t see FromRome.Info following them in this, since I have never walked in such a path. I trust, rather, in my Lord Jesus Christ, in His words, and in His Holy Ghost, and in the communion of Saints, all of whom have ever come to the rescue of Holy Mother Church and to the assistance of all who are dedicated to loving the Church of Rome and saving Her from the troubles of the age in which they live.

I exhort you all, therefore, who read this, to learn from the mistakes of the past, and not to go down the road of these members of the Grifter Collective would tempt you to take. Hold fast to Saint Francis of Assisi who promised “obedience and reverence to the Lord Pope Honorius III and to his canonically elected superiors and to the Roman Church.” And let us remain united in prayer for all our Bishops, From Pope Francis to Bishop Strickland, and all the clergy of the Roman Curia, from Cardinal Burke to Archbishop Viganò.

Finally a note about the Latin phrase, papa dubius papa nullius est. This is often translated as “a doubtful pope is no pope”, but the correct translation is “A doubtful pope is the pope of no one”; which refers to his authority over others and their duty in conscience to obey him, namely that he has no authority and no one has the obligation to obey him, as soon as they know he is objectively, by law or fact, doubtfully elected, constituted, or claimant to such authority.  – If you have such a doubt, then you must denounce the fact to a competent authority, and the only authority is a Provincial Council of Rome. Starting a seminary is, therefore, a big failure in your duty.

ITALY: Catholics gather 106,000 signatures on petition to Parliament against Abortion

Editor’s Note: The above is the news published in Avvenire, that Catholic Bishop’s Conference National Sunday newspaper. The MSM is censoring the news as of the present moment.

It appears that this editorial refers to the petition to the Parliament to require every woman who wants an abortion to be first informed about the baby in her womb and what abortion does to it. The organization ProVita & Famiglia is a non-partisan organization which refuses to back a Catholic party to save Italy. It only wants to talk about abortion and get bills passed on small issues, according to its president, with whom I have personally spoken, when I was at Rome.

USA: Bergoglian Administrator tells Bishop Strickland to get out, but you can still say mass

Editor’s Note: In the latest scene in the shrill melodramatic opera which is going on in the Diocese of Tyler, Texas, we learn that the Bishop never told Bishop Strickland he could not say mass any more in the diocese, he only suggested to the papally persecuted Bishop that he should get out of the diocese (i. e. and never come back?), in pleasant words. — I am obviously interpreting. — But the drama shows that the Bergoglian interloper does not know in what charity consists, for telling a Bishop Emeritus to leave the Diocese is far worse than denying him the faculty to never say mass in the Diocese.

This article above, is from CatholicVote.org, which is D.C. Controlled Fake Catholic opposition group, with no ties to the Church. LifeSiteNews was founded by John Henry Westen who was recruited by the Gladio Network in the USA to influence Catholic media and news in the USA. — The Bishop’s denial is equivocal, because you can be told a thing without receiving an “instruction”,  a term which implies a formal or canonical request invoking obedience.

ITALY: Archbishop Viganò to found schismatic Seminary in footsteps of Lefevbre

Commentary and Biography by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

TRADUCTION FRANÇAISE

Archbishop Viganò who until 2018 did not publicly express himself against Jorge Mario Bergoglio, and who recognized him as validly elected in the Conclave of 2013, even though Pope Benedict XVI had never fulfilled the terms of canon 332 §2, that is, had never renounced the Petrine Minus, has now made clear the path he has been on since 2018.

For it was in that year, in the late summer that he publicly denounced Bergoglio for protecting the serial sexual abuser Cardinal McCarrick, Kingmaker of the USA Episcopal Hierarchy and CIA Asset.

Lately he has espoused in public the theory that Bergoglio never validly accepted his election, by putting forward a theory similar to that proposed by the Dominican Father des Lauriers (see here for reference), namely, that Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio never had the intention of accepting his election to be the Pope for the good of the Church, but always intended something uncatholic, that is, to destroy Her.

Today’s news is not a surprise to those who understand the internal logic of sedevacantism, as I detailed yesterday in my article, The Delirium of the New Sedevacantists. Yet, like all Catholics, I am sad to report that the Archbishop has decided to seek the appearance of a solution for Christ’s Church, ignoring Her most fundamental hallmark of authenticity, which is Her canonical and juridical consistency and authority.

So, since this decision of the Archbishop to found a seminary and institutionalize his ilicit ordinations of men to the priesthood (and perhaps to the Episcopacy) is nothing but the path to schism from Christ’s Church, a schism which will lead another generation out of communion with Jesus Christ, I will briefly review the life and history of the Archbishop, so we can understand how he came to this point in his iife.

A Biography of Archbishop Carlo Mario Viganò

Archbishop Mario Carlo Viganò was born on the 16th of January, in 1941. In that year, the Kingdom of Italy was involved in the Second World War, and took her side as a belligerent among the Axis Powers. Mussolini, the de facto Dictator of Italy, declared war on France on June 10th, of the previous year, as the French government fled to Bordeaux to escape entrapment by the German Wehrmacht which was rapidly occupying the whole of Norther France.

Mario Carlo was born at Varese, in norther Lombardy, not far from the Swiss border, the home town also of Cardinal Attilio Nicora, who was born there just 4 years before.

He was ordained a priest of the Diocese of Pavia by Bishop Carlo Allorio (whose episcopal lineage is from Gustav Adolf Cardinal von Hohenlohe-Schillingsfürst, a nobleman) on the Feast of Saint Gabriel the Archangel, March 24, 1968. After a long career in the Roman Curia Pope John Paul II appointed him, on the 14th of April, 1989, as the Vatican Permanent Observer to the Council of Europe, the international human rights treaty organization for European states.

The same, Pope John Paul then raised him to the dignity of a Bishop, on April 4, 1992, some three years later. The Bishop took the titular dignity of Ulpiana, a former episcopal see known as Justinia Secunda Ulpiana, which was in a local which is now found in the territory of Kosovo, the disputed province of the Republic of Serbia.

This decision of the Bishop shows how political a man he was, as the Kosovo conflict raged on the world stage. It was also a strange decision, seeing that on the same day Pope John Paul II had named him Apostolic pro-Nuncio to Nigeria. In my mind, this indicates that he was already giving signs that he wanted to be elsewhere than where his superior wanted him, that is, in the lime light.

He was ordained in the new rite as a Bishop on April 26th of the same year, by Pope John Paul II, Cardinal Sodano, Secretary of State, and Cardinal Marcharski of Warsaw (none of whose episcopal lineages derive directly from the House of Rampolla), and therefore is most likely not a member of the Mafia of St. Gallen.

After 6 years in service in Nigeria, Bishop Viganò was promoted to the Secretariate of State, as a minor official, which appears to be a demotion, requested by Cardinal Sodano.

There he remained in obscurity until Pope Benedict XVI appointed him Secretary General of the Governorate of the Vatican City State on the Feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in 2009.

But even here, something seems to have gone awry, since he resigned that position a little 2 years after having entered it, so that a little more than a month later, the Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI might be able to appoint him Apostolic Nuncio to the United States of America on the 19th of October, 2011 A. D.. He held that last post until he reached the age of retirement, when he consigned his office on April 12, 2016 to the anti-Pope Bergoglio, as just another of those clerics who ignored the letter and spirit of the Code of Canon Law regarding papal renunciations. — During his time as Nuncio, he has admitted in writing that he remained silent about cases of pedophilia and was unable to bring these to the attention of Pope Benedict XVI, when he at last did decide to act. He accused the now Archbishop Georg Gänswein of intercepting his letter.

Just two years later, having been refused an apartment at the Vatican, he began his public crusade against Bergoglio by accusing him of an elaborate plot to rehabilitate Cardinal McCarrick. His accusations stunned the Catholic World, since he was the first high cleric in modern times to break the code of silence and omerta in the Vatican to speak about its internal corruption. For that I praised and do praise him highly.

From thence on, his name appears frequently in the news here at FromRome.Info. You can read the articles naming him, here.

Since that time he has vigorously sustained that the Conclave of 2013 is valid, and refused to communicate even in writing with those who defended Pope Benedict XVI’s claim to the papacy.

My Personal Comments

First, to all the young men who respect my opinion, and who are thinking of becoming priests, I will tell you openly to have nothing to do with the Archbishop or his seminary, since to be a priest of the Most High God, one must first be a priest of God in a canonically valid manner, not simply a sacramentally valid manner. It is better to wait for the next papacy, which is not far off, than to stain and destroy one’s irreparable personal reputation by such an association. This does not require heroic self sacrifice on your part, as there are many men in the history of the Church who have delayed or foregone ordination as priests rather than chose such an illegal method.

Second, to those Catholics who would want to know what I think of financially supporting the Archbishop, I would reply in the same manner, for it is a grave mortal sin to financially support schism or support personally someone who has chosen to violate the laws of Christ’s Church, rather than enduring persecution like so many faithful servants of the Lord Jesus throughout the ages, many of which had simply to retire into obscurity and endure opprobrium until death.

Third, however, I believe this decision of the Archbishop will put the Cardinals in the next conclave into an even greater necessity of confronting how to fix all the problems arising from the pontificate of Pope Francis.

Thus, not only the Sutri Initiative, or the open apostasy in the German Church, but the move by the Archbishop to found a seminary and ordain priests and bishops, will figure large in the minds of the Cardinal electors, and incline them to avoid open schism in the Church. They will only be able to do this by electing someone who is both very Catholic and very mindful of Church Law and who personally has the character to reconcile clerics in the truth, while showing patience to their personal human motivations.

The next Papacy will thus have to confront these issues and restore the Ancient Roman Rite, while putting an end to the divisions raised not only by Pope Francis, but by Popes Paul VI and John Paul II.

The Church is undeniably on a clear course to self destruction. We need a pope who can see and recognize that, and who has the character strong enough to lean hard against the till of the Barque of St. Peter, so as to turn Her around 180 degrees, back on the heading to Christ’s Kingdom and the Blessed Virgin’s safe Harbour, as Saint John Bosco saw in vision (see article below).

In many of these things, Pope Benedict XVI showed the way forward.

As we approach the first anniversary of his passing, may the Lord God send the Holy Ghost to temper the minds of men and convince more and more Catholics to work for the restoration of the Church in Tradition, Truth and Unity.

Saint John Bosco, Saint Francis and all the Saints of the Roman Church! Pray for us! Pray for us with all your devotion!

Here is the official copy of the Archbishop’s declaration, which FromRome.info publishes for record, not as an endorsement:

Catholic Charities from Child-Trafficking to full throttle war against Carbon Fuels

Editor’s Note: The Catholic groups calling for an end to all carbon fuels by 2050 are listed in the above article. The time for a perpetual boycott of these groups has come.

“It was issued by 14 Catholic organizations: the Laudato Si’ Movement; Caritas Internationalis, along with national Caritas chapters for the U.S. (Catholic Relief Services), England and Wales (CAFOD), Scotland (SCIAF) and Germany (Misereor); religious order groups at the U.N. UNANIMA International, Vivat International and Carmelite NGO; Medical Mission Sisters; International Young Catholic Students; International Movement of Catholic Students; Catholic Youth Network for Environmental Sustainability in Africa; and Boston College. In addition, the letter has been signed by more than 14,600 people, as of Dec. 6.”

Catholic Charities is the charity arm of all Catholic dioceses in the world. When you give a donation to your parish, they might be getting a percentage ….

I would recommend writing to your local bishop and informing him, that you won’t be sending him a penny of your money, if he does not break all financial ties with Catholic Charities (Caritas), on account of this godless call of theirs.

Cardinal Gregory says if you don’t like the Novus Order, you can leave the Roman Church

Editor’s Note: And yes, it’s not a joke, but the reality, that his talk was called, “Celebrating Diversity”. In my many years studying Anthropology, the only celebrating which has to do with a “slow and bloody death” is the Aztec (Pachamama) kind on the top of a Meso-American pyramid, when they disembowel the victim. I think it is not satire to say that the Religion of Pachamama is going to be followed by the rubrics of Quetzalcoatl.

I must, add, however, as someone of Greek and Italian heritage, that Cardinal Gregory is a cultural racist and should shut up when the topic relates to the culture which civilized his ancestors.

The Delirium of the New Sedevacantists

by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

TRADUCTION FRANÇAISE

The Catholic World may have not noticed them at all, but the Church has a new genus of Sedevacantism: Benedict XVI Sedevacantists.

Sedevacantism is an ideology advanced by individuals who want to justify or calumniate the juridical order in the Church so as to obtain some personal license or advantage. It was an error first launched after the Second Vatican Council in a sort of desperation, while Catholics the world over were being persecuted by their own Bishops, under the direction of Pope Paul VI, who wanted to exterminate the Ancient Roman Rite and totally reshape the Catholic Faith in contradiction to Ecclesiastical Tradition

According to Wikipedia:

Early proponents of sedevacantism include:

To this list we can add now, two more names: Andrea Cionci, the journalist, and Don Alessandro Minutella, the pastor of St. John Bosco’s Catholic Parish in Palermo, Italy. Archbishop Viganò can also be added, since he has openly espoused the equivalent of the Cassiciacum thesis of Father des Lauriers, and has begun to ordain men to the priesthood, according to Fr. Lovell and Roberto dei Mattei. Viganò never recognized that Pope Benedict XVI was pope until his death (and for that reason I omit a discussion of his position in this present article).

But Cionci and Don Minutella are what I call Pope Benedict XVI Sedevacantists, because both hold that the Catholic Church has no true pope since the death of Pope Benedict XVI. Both also hold, that none of the Cardinals appointed by Pope Francis can participate in a Conclave, and thus that no valid Conclave can be held to elect a new Pope unless only Cardinals appointed by Pope John Paul II and Benedict XVI participate.

In addition, Don Minutella holds that this latter group of Cardinals is so compromised by silence and collaboration with Pope Francis that the election of anew Pope has to be the duty of the Catholic Clergy who remain faithful to Christ. These 8 priests met recently in Austria and held a conclave, and elected — drum roll — Don Minutella as the Pope. — Though there is some doubt in my mind, whether he has yet claimed the papacy, or when the coronation will take place.

Andrea Cionci, instead, is petitioning the Cardinals who can still validly participate in a Conclave, asking them to recognize that there is no canonically valid pope, and to convene in Conclave to elect one. That petition can be found here. So far it has garnered a little less than 4000 votes. — Many thanks to A.J. Baalman of Ordo Militaris Radio TV for informing me of its existence.

Don Minutella, for his part, had more than 25,000 loyal followers, mostly in Italy, last year; what that number is now, I do not know, but I think his election as an anti-pope may have caused those numbers to dwindle.

The Delirium of Pope Benedict XVI Sedevacantists

First, let me apologize to all those who remember Pope Benedict XVI with seriousness, respect and Catholic Faith, for having named this new genus of Sedevacantism after himself. I only do this because follow the practice in nomenclature of calling the principal genus of Sedevacantism, the Pius XII Sedevacantists, since they hold that the last validly elected pope was Pope Pius XII.

This new genus of Sedevacantism is caused by a grave spiritual delirium, just as the first.  But whereas the first is caused by despair, and moved by avarice and pride (avarice to have spiritual gifts and offices which they do not merit, and pride in thinking they merit to have them even by unjust means), this new genus is caused by hatred: a hatred which will not tolerate that Jorge Mario Bergoglio enjoy any rights in the Church. This hatred causes them to deny that Bergoglio has any rights in canon law, whether the passive right to be elected Pope or the right to be tried and found guilty before being deprived from office.

Though Ann Barnhardt and many of her followers also hold that there is no pope, I do not yet know if they do so for any ideological reason, though like these other groups they deny that Pope Francis was elected in a valid juridical manner to the Papacy and accepted his election.

The Two Ways of Electing a Pope

A Pope, that is, the Roman Pontiff, can only be elected in a valid juridical manner in two ways, today: one, by means of the Cardinals who convene in a Conclave within 20 days of the death of a Roman Pontiff and observe all the things in the Papal Law for the election of Roman Pontiffs in a Conclave, known as “Universi Dominici Gregis”; and the other, everlasting fail safe, which is by apostolic right, that is, by the election of the Faithful of the Roman Church, which can only be resorted to when the Cardinals fail to fulfill their ministerial duty of electing a Roman Pontiff, after the death of his predecessor, within the time prescribed by the Papal Law.

While the whole Church is in agreement, that no Conclave has been held after the death of Pope Benedict XVI, and while several Bishops have called Pope Francis a “heretic” or “apostate” before and after the death of Pope Benedict XVI, the entire Church was not in agreement as to whether Pope Benedict XVI was the pope until death.

This latter truth, which was zealously defended by numerous scholars, jurists, writers, bloggers, journalists, personalities, clergy and faithful, and religious, was the primary cause celebre of FromRome.Info since 2018.

But unlike all the others who sustained this cause, I and my readers were they only ones who were not only preoccupied with obtaining the recognition of Pope Benedict XVI during life as the only true pope, but wanted this canonically recognized and sought for this; while at the same time remaining concerned for the election of his successor in a valid juridical manner.

Thus with the surprise death of Pope Benedict XVI on the last day of 2022 A. D., we moved immediately to urge the election of his successor, in open opposition to moves by Cionci and Minutella to ignore this problem at that time.

I met with Andrea Cionci and Don Minutella in person just a week after the death and burial of the Roman Pontiff, to discuss this matter. Present for the last part of our discussion was also Father Enrico Bernascone of Puglia.

Cionci’s position was that the Cardinals have to be first convinced Pope Benedict XVI was the pope, and then have to be urged to call a Conclave. — To this position, I pointed out that the Papal Law allowed them 20 days to convene, after the funeral, and if they failed to do so, the could not legally elect another.

Don Minutella’s position was that, after being illicitly and invalidly degraded from the priesthood by the “Dicastery for the Clergy” and his own Bishop (for saying that Bergoglio was not the pope), that he did not want to get involved in such a public controversy.

My position was and is, that of the law itself and perennial jurisprudence; namely, that when the Cardinals do not act, the right returns to the body which holds that right by a higher law, and this is Roman Church as a whole, and then all the faithful of that Church had the duty to see to an election as soon as possible. Here I use, “the Roman Church” specifically and individually and properly to refer to the Diocese of Rome and the suburbican dioceses contiguous with her, which canonically and theologically have always been associated with her as parts of the same local Church.

That possible became a reality, when the Cardinals failed to convene and with by the extraordinary intervention of Divine Providence, which allowed me to raise the enormous funds necessary — after having duly warned the Dean of the College of Cardinals that if they did not act, the Faithful were the only ones who could — to announce to the whole Church via Television and publicity statements to all the TV, Radio and Newspapers of the Roman Province: the convocation of an Assembly to chose Pope Benedict XVI’s successor.

That election was held on January 30, at the Mariott Hotel in Rome. And at it, no candidate presented himself, which left the Assembly, for the good of the Church, to heal the schism between those who followed the true Pope and those who followed a man who had never been canonically elected, Jorge Mario Bergoglio, but wanted to be pope and accepted already what he thought was his canonical election — by electing him as the pope.

So from about 12:30 pm of that day to this day, the Church has had a pope: not elected according to the papal law, because elected by apostolic tradition; but in a juridically valid manner, and canonically, because canon 331 requires an election, not a tacit acclamation, as some have argued. And since the same canon does not impose the requirement of an explicit acceptance of the election by the candidate elected — a tacit one, or habitual one is therefore by the natural law itself sufficient: which Jorge Mario Bergoglio certainly does have habitually since March 13, 2013.

These are the facts of the case. If one has an honest heart, which bends to Canon Law and Apostolic Tradition one can easily see it. But if one was principally motivated by hatred or despair, and does not trust in the word of Christ:

Whatsoever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven

(which regards both Canon Law and the decision of Saint Peter to give to the Roman Church the right to elect his successors in office).

Then one will never be able to see it.

I have fully refuted both Cionci and Don Minutella in English and Italian last spring, but the refuse to accept the truth, because they won’t under any condition accept to eat humble pie, that is, they refuse in their pride to admit the juridical controversy has ended and that Pope Benedict XVI has a valid successor.

You can read more about this controversy and its events through the menu “The Triumph of the Lamb”, at the top of this website.

Finally, I urge all the Catholic Faithful in the world, to hold fast to the Apostolic See and the Roman Church in the spirit of Saint Francis of Assisi, who wrote in his Holy Rule, that he promised “Obedience and reverence to the Lord Pope … and his canonically elected successors AND to the Roman Church”. For as a son of Saint Francis, I have ever urged and practiced this devotion of my Seraphic Patriarch and pray daily that others catch fire from his own spirit.

News and Commentary on the Catholic Church
