Editor’s Note: The attack was perpetrated by radical Islamic terrorists who wanted to cleanse the Island Nation of Sri Lanka of Christians. Two individuals wrapped in bomb belts entered Catholic Churches in the nation’s capitol on Easter Morning of 2019. It is horrors like this that inspired AJ Baalman and myself in 2016 to found a private Catholic initiative to help persecuted Catholics who are threatened by Islamic terrorism.
