1. Is this part of the public rebelion that heretical Bishops are waging against Pope Francis?

   1. McElroy was appointed before Bergoglio was validly elected. While he remains a cardinal, one cannot attribute his views to the Papacy.

      But the massive opposition to his heretical views, is something that never occurred before Jan. 30, 2023.
