1. What effect will the ruling have on the sale of fetal organs and the harvesting of fetal cells from living babies for vaccines.? It was also the feast of the Nativity of St John the Baptist .

   1. In those states which outlaw abortion such tissues cannot be harvested, but as many as 33 states abortion is still allowed. However, since there is no constitutional right to abortion, but there is a constitutional right not to have your son or daughter murdered, liability issues will soon make it impossible for any abortionist to get insurance, and that will close down abortion centers in many of the other states too.

2. I wonder what Father Hardon would say about this legal change. I dont recall him making too much of a distinction between the artificial contraception and abortion. He wrote much, well, and authoritatively on the topic. I recall reading that the prolife movement was coopted by non Catholics who haven’t a problem with ABC.

   1. Two mortal sins are both mortal, though some sins deviate from the good more than others. Thus the use of any device or chemical to prevent conception when there is a perfect act which has the natural, and yet even as of yet unproven, potential to conceive is a mortal sin. But murdering a child in the womb is a far greater sin, since it destroys a person, whereas the first sin only morally damages the couple. Thus we must make a distinction, otherwise we make children into non persons.

   It is a tragedy that the mass murder of the unborn has been allowed to go on for so long in the United States, and the rest of the so called Christian countries for that matter. We are going to all have to account for this as we have collectively allowed it to occur.

   In recent years, the state governments in Australia have allowed abortion up to the day of birth . This is truly disgusting and deserving of divine wrath. It is a sign of how degenerate and sick our society has become.
