Once a year I have to deal with it, again, I’m a 911 survivor. So far, 20 years, I’m not ready to talk about it, think about it, or watch any of the videos for more than about a minute. I do have a lot of information, and since I was working in the closest ‘zone’ around the buildings, a lot of it firsthand. It’s not like I don’t know what happened, I do. There’s something known as complex trauma. It’s beyond depression and beyond PTSD. When the mind can’t process something because it’s so horrific so unimaginable so incomprehensible it shuts down, blocks the memory, to protect the brain from being overwhelmed. It sounds like that’s what’s going on with these men. I did try to talk about it a little bit early on, but you learn pretty quickly if someone hasn’t actually been there and lived through it they have no empathy, that’s been my experience, and one of the men said it here. They are very lucky to have each other.
Hi Joan
I wasn’t in the towers but in Port Washington at St Francis Hospital
May God grant you His peace that surpasses understanding and blessings. Pat
I was at the WTC too. I remember a huge ground level explosion going off before the buildings started to fall. The force actually compressed my face. I thought it was a nuke and it probably was.
One of the big shocks was in the past 12 months I finally had free time after my mom passed to even think about taking care of myself. I was told about five or ten or fifteen years ago I need a full body cat scan, for starters. What I found out is this. They will only pay our medical bills if we already have our own insurance. 911 survivors medical fund run by the US government I’m talking about. With insurance they will cover the copays that’s all. Without insurance, as I am, they tell us to go to an indigent clinic, like for illegal immigrants, try to get help that way. They know exactly what they did and want all the witnesses dead. That much I can tell you without getting too upset about it.
I was just listening to a new Dr. Zelenko interview with Alex Jones. He was saying the level of evil we’re dealing with in this world is so massive the human mind cannot comprehend it. Exactly. That’s how it’s felt for me, ever since 911, that describes the feeling exactly. For me 911 was the first massive shock. Then when I began to realize there was no empathy, in fact many people seemed downright happy about it, the level of brain freeze gets to where we’re at now. A lot of people are in a catatonic state of denial.
