It is interesting how journalist Eduardo Campos Lima mentions that according to canon law the priest was remove at cautela until a formal process can take place, but doe not even hint at the canon law that requires the screening of candidates for the priesthood, something that was obviously not done. Eduardo also mentions that the priest condition “has been known”. All the more reason to have done something about it before ordination!
