  1. That is assuming that there is going to be a burial. Should Rome be consumed by fire from Heaven, it may be quite difficult to identify the remains.

    Just saying …

    1. At least the next pope does not have to remove him from the papal crypt. But Santa Maria Maggiore is, according to my sources at Rome, the HQ of the Ecclesiastical Mafia.

      1. What I have read and what I have heard have two different answers. I just report what I find. — However, the Pope who enshrined the image of Our Lady Salus Populi at Santa Maria Maggiore was, according to historians, a flagrant sodomite. So there may be more than one reason he wants to be buried there.

      2. There is a prophecy that mentions something about the Pope and Cardinals seeking refuge at Santa Maria Maggiore when the a wall collapses on them. The Pope then escapes stepping on the corpses of his own Cardinals but he is later captured and “suffers a cruel death” — May be someone out there remembers that prophecy?

      3. I think you are mixing prophecies, since the “suffering a cruel death” pertains to Pope Pius X’s vision of a pope fleeing the vatican strewn with corpses. B16 did die a cruel death, because within 3 months after Ganswein admitted there were errors in the Declaratio, the Vatican promoted a 3x vaccination of all elderly people around the Vatican, and presumably also of Pope Benedict XVI.
