Editor’s Note: This is the first nation in the Russian Federation orbit to reject ‘Fiducia supplicans’. Belarus is the former Grand Duchy of Lithuania, and was once a very Catholic land, before the Soviets purged the faith in the 1930’s.  — Let’s see if the Catholic Bishops in Russia and China issue similar statements this spring.
