Editor’s Note: Catholics round the world need to thank the Queen of Denmark this week for having correctly announced that She “will” abdicate on January 14th, next. By not following Pope Benedict XVI in an abdication in the present which will have effect only in the future (which is null and void), She has shown the world the right way to go about it. Let’s see if on the 14th she reads a text of abdication, to seal the deal. — If so, then Her example can be cited for future reference to all Cardinals, Bishops, Priests and Laity, who still insist Pope Benedict XVI abdicated in 2013, even though he read aloud no such text, on no such day of that year.
