Disgusting!
Let me guess, Marko Rupnik is a laicized clergy.
He is now laicized, yes.
Please, somebody, hand me some brain bleach; or a spot of Alzheimer’s to eliminate this post from my short-term memory.
I don’t want to know this.
“OMGod…Literally; Please help us. Have Mercy On Us.”
Is utterly repugnant to merely read the report; but it’s logical given the demons behind the world’s errors warned about at Fatima and through many other Marian Apparitions. While not of the Catholic Faith; I find Jonathan Cahn’s research and work fascinating…And, his new book is being released. Here is a Link to his Interview with Glenn Beck found yesterday. It is well worth watching/listening to.

Robbi, you comment here frequently. But you are not Catholic?
This may be trickier than you state.
I believe that most of Rupnik’s art is degenerate. It does not positively inspire, because it is eerily unsettling. This is not only because of the oversized eyes, but also the twisted, unnatural postures. I am sure other Catholic Christian commentators could better express this than me.
A much harder question is – if objectively evil artists can produce subjectively good, inspiring art, what should be done with that art?
A topical example from the UK concerns Arthur Eric Rowton Gill – known as Eric Gill – a Catholic sculptor, stonecutter, woodcut printer and typeface designer (Gill Sans, Joanna, Perpetua and many others).
He produced much religious art, some of which can be seen here:
https://www.tate.org.uk/search?aid=1168&type=artwork – much of which is not obviously degenerate.
Gill, however, was a paedophile. He sexually abused his own daughters, their nanny, and had sex with his sisters and even his dog, according to his own diaries, published in 1989.
Just as Mother Teresa did not refuse donations from dictators – Catholic and not – there are probably good Catholic arguments for preserving good art produced by committers of abominable sins.
Rupniks art is obviously demonic, I never thought otherwise. It should be ripped off the walls, and clergy who will not do this should be kicked out of the priesthood. If I were a Bishop I would demand a provincial council to depose the pope, for this decision alone, of keeping Rupnik’s art.
A diseased tree never produces good fruit, no matter its outward appearance. It is the same with Individuals of immoral & lascivious character. Any religious art form they produce regardless of how beautifully or brilliantly done will always be blighted. by demonic.
influence. It has no place
in churches, homes, or other institutions.
