TO THE CITIZENS OF THE UNITED KINGDOM: Take action now against Digital IDs

Dear Editor,

Please tell your UK readers that they only have until ! March to protest and avoid the UK’s nefarious attempt to impose digitals ID’s which rob everyone of their privacy and will enable government to control your financial life when they introduce digital currency:
The consultation is open until 1 March 2023.  Don’t buy into their rigged survey, but instead email the Government’s Data Sharing Legislation Team at dea-data-sharing@digital.cabinet-office.gov.uk with the subject  “NO to digital IDs! .”

Here is the message I sent, which can be a pattern for others:

I say NO to any digital ID’s !  We already have adequate photo IDs, and I am justifiably suspicious of government use of current and future facial identity technology.
No sharing of my personal data (including my income, political & activity, medical history, travel history, etc) to all and sundry at Government “discretion” !
When Digital currency is imposed,  I know that with Digital ID the government will be able to monitor & control my banking activity.
So, NO THANKS, I’ll hold on to what’s left of my privacy for as long as possible.”

Sign your name, address, and telephone number so that they can’t ignore your message as “anonymous.”
Spread this message to all your UK friends, (Including in Scotland, Wales, & Northern Ireland) as the Government is not publicising this— they hope to sneak this past us without the majority of citizens noticing.
The article from which I gained this information, which contains a useful video explanation of how confusing the Government survey is, can be found here:
An article about this issue, with an illuminating video, can be found here:  https://expose-news.com/2023/02/02/uk-gov-attempt-to-railroad-digital-id/#comments

Why did none who said Benedict XVI was the pope, prepare for the election of His Successor?

by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

FRANÇAIS

Alas we live in such an age of dishonestly, that the dishonest frame themselves as the honest and claim to be offended by the honest.

Though I have the greatest respect for Saint Augustine, who defended the truth with more than 240 written works, I disagree with those who take his quote, “The truth is like a lion, it has no need of being defended” out of context and advocate we should let a thousand lying mouths defame the truth.

On the contrary, I believe that we should defend the truth by every legitimate means, and that is why there are more than 6000 articles and posts at FromRome.info.

So, as regards the present controversy, by which some are feigning madness to justify their irrational reactions, to the election of Pope Francis in the Assembly on Monday, I pose this nuclear question:

Why is it that no one among all those writers and speakers who said Pope Benedict XVI was the pope, prepared or supported the election of His Successor in the eventuality of his death?

I was the only one. I spoke of this years in advance. I formed committees to restore him to power and to elect his successor.

Notably, when I formed a committee to restore him to power, no one helped me but one friend. Neither Don Minutella nor Andrea Cionci lifted one finger. Don Minutella said it was a good effort. But no supporter of Don Minutella acted on it, except my one friend.

I was even asked by a priest follower of Don Minutella why I was even attempting a political solution?

That question revealed to me something I should have paid attention to.

That some people did not want a solution to the crisis.

And this became clear as soon as Pope Benedict XVI was called from this life by the Lord.

NO. ONE. EVEN. ADVOCATED. PROMOTING. THE. ELECTION. OF. HIS. SUCCESSOR.

Except me.

I am not tooting my horn, there is no need too. All know what I did. I am pointing out the contrast between speaking about a problem and advocating a solution.

You can talk all day long about the horror of abortion. But you are not for real, unless you stand  in the cold and counsel women not to kill their children. Because that is the only solution for the individual. In the mean time you can also work to overturn the laws enabling abortion. That too is true commitment.

But if you only show images of abortion on social media, lament the problem, found an organization and raise money to keep doing the same thing over and over, but never actually organize side-walk counseling or legislation to stop the killing, how can anyone claim you are sincere?

You see, it’s the same thing in every endeavor.

If you are going to open your mouth about some problem, no one should take your seriously unless you are proposing solution and taking action.

And if in any endeavor someone actually takes action and solves the problem, then God have mercy on those who attack him for it.

Take for example, Donald Trump. My readers know that I am not a Trump supporter. But I will forever praise him for his appointments to the Supreme Court of the United States, by whom Roe vs. Wade was overturned. Catholic appointments.

I have as of today more people who hate and criticize me than support me. But all know that I am not a grifter. If I talk about a problem I do something.  That is why I founded the Scholasticum, Ordo Militaris Inc., L’Italia per gli Italiani, and Cross Azure Ukraine. I have a track record of honesty, even if I am not always as successful in each endeavor as I dreamed.

So in every controversy, we should keep in mind the bigger picture, and when anyone is criticized for anything, let us first ask, who actually solved the problem, and who only talked about it. Who actually is trying to solve the problem, and who is only riding the bull of dissent and milking the cow.

Finally, we must keep in mind, that when a problem is solved, there is a strong temptation for those who did well milking the cow, to say it has not been solved and the issue is still hot. Self interest is strong in some, and as adults we need to admit that it exists with social media influencers, who, if they do not get likes, hits and donations, will scream all the louder at someone to get attention.

Christians must forgive Jesus

by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

FRANÇAIS

We often talk about how Christians should forgive one another. We pray about it daily, when we say the Our Father.

But when Jesus forgives sinners, it is also necessary that we forgive them.

This irks us on those occasions where we nurture in our own hearts hatred for sinners.

In these cases, we also need to forgive Jesus for being more merciful that we would have Him be. And if we truly forgive Jesus, we must admit that it is not He who has committed a fault, but us, who have been too self righteous to be willing that God forgive this or that sinner.

When the Catholics of Rome elected the Monothelite heretic Eugene I, or the antipope Leo VIII, as pope, without doubt there were Catholics who at that time did not accept it.

We are in a double replay.

Catholics need to learn to forgive, and we can only do this with the humility to let Jesus forgive sinners and the  Church of Rome to decide for Herself, who shall be Her Shepherd. That’s been fine for Jesus for 2000 years.

It should be fine for us, too.

The title of this article may sound ridiculous. But it is more ridiculous that some Christians judge Jesus and want Him to run the Church as they want it to run. So this title is phrased from within their warped egocentric mentality, like a fishing hook lowered into the depths of sin and pride, to catch a big fish, who needs the mercy of the light at the bait of a sharp movement of the mouth.

Pope Innocent III’s vision of St. Francis stabilizing the Lateran Palace

Editor’s Note: Here is the fresco by Giotto, of the dream of Pope Innocent III on the vigil of St. Alexis, wherein he saw a poor man stabilize the Lateran Palace, which was, at that time, the Papal residence and Cathedral of the Church of Rome. The next day, in audience, at that same residence, St. Francis of Assisi came to ask the approval of his Rule. And the Pope recognizing him as the man he saw in his vision, gave him verbal approval. This vision is testified to by Saint Bonaventure of Bagnoregio, in his Legenda Maior of Saint Francis, here.

The original fresco is found in the Basilica of St. Francis, at Assisi, Italy, in the upper Church (here).

Innocent III was very devoted to St. Alexis, and c. 1217/18 restored the Basilica of St. Alexis on the Aventine at Rome.

I for my part want to publicly thank Innocent III for his intercession, by which I believe he arranged me to find a place to live in the Hermitage of the Holy Cross 18 months ago. For it is truly an honor to live in the home town of Innocent III, where I reside in Italy. I thought it a curious coincidence when I found the place to use for a hermitage, without any collateral, income or bank account, 3 conditions of contracts for renting throughout Italy.

I attributed it at the time to the intercession of Our Lady of St. Alexis, the icon of Our Lady venerated in his Basilica at Rome (see the Visit from 2020), whom I have besought for such a grace for neigh 18 years. For more on this Icon, see here.

Our Lord from the Cross of St. Damiano, in Assisi, called Saint Francis to “go forth and repair My Church”. This is the mystical and ecclesial vocation of all the sons and daughters of Saint Francis. We do this by dedicating ourselves to living every word of Jesus Christ, promoting peace and coming to the needs of the poor, while living absolute poverty ourselves. At the Hermitage of the Holy Cross, I try to do all three, and there is yet much more to be done.

Pray for me. And pray for those men discerning a vocation to follow Saint Francis.

Where the Neo-Sedes are headed

by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

It is a horrible sin of pride and theft to arrogate to yourself the right to judge others juridically in the Church. It is in a word diabolic. Because in the Church of God all authority comes from God, and NO man can claim to hold it, if it is not given him by God or His Church.

And the culmination of such pride and sin, is to judge as invalid a valid papal election, because this is tantamount to arrogating to oneself the right say this man is or is not the pope.

For this reason, though I was one of the first to report and follow the news regarding Team Bergoglio, when it came the canonical evidence, I agreed with Cardinal Burke and Msgr. Nicola Bux, that it would be hard to prove with the rigor necessary for a trial. And thus I abandoned saying the election was invalid.

For this reason too, though I recognized that the things said and taught by Jorge Mario Bergoglio as antipope were heretical and blasphemous, I never said or claim I had the right to put him out of the Church. No, rather, as every Catholic should, I called on the Cardinals or the bishops to meet and condemn him.

This is the catholic way.

I started writing at FromRome, long before anyone ever heard of Don Minutella or of Andrea Cionci. And it was Catholics from the United States and Canada, like Father Kramer and Fr. Gruner, who were way ahead of everyone on this topic. It is true that Raedelli was first to doubt the renunciation was an abdication, and that Fr. Violi was the first to say it was not conform to canon 332, and it was La Pace that said that you cannot renounce something in the future.

But with them the controversy went silent.

Yes, Socci took up talking around the issue in several books. But he never concluded to doing anything.

But of all these writers, I was the only one who consistently called for action to solve the problem. I even met with top canonists in Rome to suggest the same in 2019. But they wanted to do nothing, too.

So I had an entirely different outlook than every other major leader in the “Benedict is the Pope” crusade.  I also never wrote a book for commercial sale about it, as many others did. Nay, I went into debt to advocate Benedict’s cause. To my knowledge no one else did.

But now the great discessio has erupted between us, because I recognize the valid election of Pope Francis on Monday, last, and all these do not.

So now they are in a major crisis of faith. And what lies ahead for them is very very dark.  I call these the anti-Bergoglian Sedevacantists.

Unlike normal Sedevacantism, which occurs in those who unreasonably doubt the validity of a papal election in Conclave, these are inventing doubts about something at which they could have been all personally present, since it occurred in our days.

And unlike the anti-Roncallian Sedevacantists, nearly all of these agreed that the manner of electing was valid, before the election took place.

But it was the result which upsets them. (If anyone of them was elected, they would most likely accept the election as valid in proportion to what advantage they could personally derive from it.)

But for all of these Anti-Bergoglian Sedevacantists, there is a dark future. By the force of the logic of their position, they have to confront that the Church as they see it, no longer has the Petrine Minus, and thus is no longer the Church of Christ.  As none of them can read Latin or has studied Canon Law, they will find no canonical solution, and will end up rejecting every papal election in the Future.

And since they will invent out of whole-cloth their own conditions for a juridically valid election, even if they manage to pull off some sort of election at Rome, it will be null and void, and never recognized by the Church of Christ, because such an election can never happen again, since only the First Assembly, convened after the Death of a True Pope, has the right to elect the pope. As all papal history proves.

So their malcontent is leading them to perdition, because since they want to judge who is and who is not in the Church, and who is and is not a valid candidate for the Papacy — throwing Canon Law on the bonfires of their demonic pride — they have set their faces against God and have declared themselves His enemies.

They will all die in despair or in false hope, if they do not repent, and their sacraments and rosaries will obtain nothing more for them. In their habit of mind which finds fault only with others, they will fail to see that their pride grows like a forest, their vices like a raging fire, and their darkness like that experienced by those being dragged into the infernal abyss.

I pity them all, more than nearly all of my readers can imagine, because I ate and drank, prayed and sang along side nearly all of them. I was their collaborator and have thousands of emails to prove it.

But when the crisis hit, NONE of them asked my counsel, and ALL of them proceeded to disagree publicly with me, some even insulting and cursing me.

Until everything was going their way, they praised me to the skies. But when they had to repent of their personal hatred for the man, Bergoglio, that was the point beyond which they could not go. Because unlike me, who hated only his sins, not the man, they hated both.

And hate is the first prerequisite of Hell.

But now all their work and fever of mind will be to sow division in the flock of Christ. To deny the works of God in His Church, and to oppose true reform and renewal, by endlessly trolling us Catholics. They will nurture their malcontent with further sins, and become Collaboratores in Mendacio, collaborators in the lie.

So I urge you to pray for them all the more. It took only natural reason to see Benedict XVI is the Pope. But it requires Faith to see that Christ now has a Vicar on Earth.

I hate none of them. As a matter of fact, I am scrupulously avoiding reading or listening to anything they say against me, so as to preserve charity for them. I shall hope for the rest of my life, that they are all once again reconciled with the Church. But I recognize that I might not be able to help them in that any more.

A sign for those who seek signs

by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

For those who understand jurisprudence, canon law, Papal history, theology, no signs are necessary to see that Pope Francis is now the Vicar of Jesus Christ, the holder of the Petrine Munus, following his juridically valid election on Monday, January 30, 2023 at Rome, Italy, by the Catholics of Rome, in accord with the ordinance of St. Peter.

And for those who followed my articles you also do not need signs, if you understood them well.

But for those who do need signs, to believe or to have confidence, God gave me this sign this morning, on the feast of Candelmas.

For us religious, this feast is our annual celebration, because the prophetess Anna and the priest Simeon are types of Catholic religious, who dedicate themselves to prayer, awaiting the fulfilment of God’s promises. Mary and Joseph who brought the Child Jesus to the Temple are also role models for us religious, who strive to live in simplicity following the Lord and caring for His own with our works and prayers.

So, by inspiration I sought out a Convent of Poor Clares, that I might celebrate this Feast with my sisters in St. Francis.

And arriving in an ancient medieval town with streets like a maze, my navigation app brought me to the wrong place. I found myself in a piazza with the wrong Church. A man who was going to the Mass at the Convent helped me and led me there. On the way he switched speaking to me, from Italian to English.

I asked him. Oh, you speak English well, what country are you from, Ghana? Since I know they speak English in that West African country and could see he was from Africa.

He said no. I am from the Congo.

So I had this sign to day. To celebrate a feast which only those who where there 2025 years ago believed in and recognized, with my sisters in St. Francis and the Clergy and people of Congo, where the Holy Father is currently visiting.

When my candle for Candelmas was lit, I held it high in gratitude to God who sees all and rewards all!

African Girl Choir dressed like Catholic Girls did 70 years ago, at Papal Mass

Editor’s note: Africans dance while they sing, as that is part of their traditional culture, though not all African clergy I know agree with that. What caught my eye, rather, was the lovely and elegant way they all dressed. They have given a lesson to Catholic girls and mothers everywhere, especially at a Papal Mass.
