Editor’s Note: I have it from Andrea Cionci, that the photograph of the luminous cross was taken by a professional journalist-photographer who is known to him. The Cross appeared in the sky to the south of the Piazza of St. Peter, over the hill of the Janiculum. It was barely visible to cameras, but quite visible to the human eye. Many thanks to Carlos, for publishing this photo in his article on The Closing of the Age. — While I knew of this event moments after the Mass — I did not see it from where I was standing, because I was looking the other way — I have delayed reporting it until I could verify it was legit and not a photoshop, and until I could find a copy of the photograph which was high quality enough to publish.

Maybe a sign from God that he loves Pope Benedict XVI and his life/work as Pope, and that Benedict is with him. Maybe God’s way of sending message “Well done, good and faithful servant Benedict.” Sorry, I don’t remember full quote of that. But I would see it as a Blessing for Benedict, not one for Francis and the Vatican for the disrespectful Mass they gave Benedict.
The testimony of the third woman who was interviewed was as luminous as the cross that appeared in heaven.

Stunning
..with a message written into it..the cross, if you study it a bit appears to be a fiery cross.. what is the significance of that ?The clouds look like smoke rather than clouds…must mean something.???
The cloud-like atmosphere reminiscent of the Shekinah cloud that accompanied the Israelites in the desert guiding them to the promised land.
Wow! That is a beautiful image of the Cross in the sky! Only God could paint like that in the sky! O my God! How Great Thou Art!
A sobering & timely reminder from heaven that all of us must “carry our cross” in order to follow Christ, as Benedict XVI most certainly did!
“And he that taketh not up his cross and followeth Me is not worthy of Me.” [St Matthew 10: 38]
“And whosoever doth not carry his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple.” [St Luke 14: 27]
Another man who ‘carried his cross’ with great dignity was George Cardinal Pell, whose death was announced yesterday evening:-

Very much a shock. He was only on tv interviewed by USA news 3-4 days ago. Very good man, R.I.P.
Now if Bergoglio were to go suddenly one morning, that would be real shock. Good one for Catholics, bad for his few followers.
On 29 December, I commented on the post
“Vatican plans to deny Pope Benedict XVI a Papal Funeral”:
“Giving Holy Pope Benedict XVI a “minimalist” funeral will backfire spectacularly on his enemies who wished him gone.
Don’t be surprised if there is some sort of “sign” marking the death or the funeral of good Pope Benedict, showing God’s favour on him, or God’s displeasure toward his supplanter. . . ”
As I said, I’m not surprised.
I WOULD have been surprised if there had been no Sign in the Heavens manifesting God’s favour toward our true and
Good Shepherd.
“But GOD forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ; by whom the world is crucified to me, and I to the world.” [Ephesians 6: 14]
Benedict XVI and Cdl Pell both bore their very heavy crosses with courage, fortitude, humility, meekness, and brotherly love.
Bergoglio and some/many in his cabal despise the cross, they are full of pride, covetousness, lust, anger, gluttony, envy and a spiritual sloth – the Seven Deadly Sins!!
