Wagner group recruited many sociopaths from prisons. His unit probably threw him out of their trench because he was caught stealing food or valuables from his buddies. Ukrainians shouldn’t trust this guy any more than the Russians did: he’s a bad egg.
They will probably feed him and use him in a prisoner exchange.
There are instances, as absurd, of surrenders, in past wars, although not common, such as 1 US Civil War soldier bringing in a dozen of his enemy, with an empty rifle; they saw him and just surrendered to him. But surrendering to a drone is, I believe, a first.
With the media of today, it’s certain the soldiers are aware of their little ‘War for Profit’ and Confusion, and I would probably surrender to a drone, too. The nights are getting cooler and cooler now. Too Funny!
