Editor’s Note: It is now clear that somewhere in the solar system, there is a huge asteroid heading for the Vatican, for this level of perdition simply runs counter to all the laws of God and of the cosmos. — And now it is also becoming evident what Jorge Mario Bergoglio meant about how much the example of Christ welcoming Matthew as an Apostle meant to him, personally. Christians understand this as the profound conversion and merit for a just man who really cared for the poor, ignorant and sinful, in that he invited all kinds of sinners to celebrate with him at table with Our Lord. But it seems that for Bergoglio, the celebration is a celebration of sin being welcomed without need for repentance.
