  6. It’s always enlightening to hear the Russian perspective on things. It takes many years of study to fully understand them. To jump to conclusions in connection with the Russian mind, is tantalizingly tempting, but fraught with difficulties. Their roots and histories are exceedingly complex. We really don’t know them a tenth as well as they know us, and they know it and take advantage of the fact. Nevertheless, they are penetratingly concise. Ignore them at your peril.
