How to be a Catholic: Episode #9: How to choose the City of God

In this episode, Br Bugnolo comments on Apocalypse 18:4-8:

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying: Go out from her, my people; that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and the Lord hath remembered her iniquities. Render to her as she also hath rendered to you; and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup wherein she hath mingled, mingle ye double unto her. As much as she hath glorified herself, and lived in delicacies, so much torment and sorrow give ye to her; because she saith in her heart: I sit a queen, and am no widow; and sorrow I shall not see. Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine, and she shall be burnt with the fire; because God is strong, who shall judge her.

  2. God bless you, too, Brother Bugnolo. Appreciate what you are doing. I’ve become a nightly visitor here.

Do you care to post a piece re labyrinths on Catholic church grounds? Should they be destroyed? No rush. They are quite numerous. Are they a portal to the underworld? I never attend a church that has one.

Here’s a series of online articles about the occultist and masonic connections to labyrinths to get you started. https://youthapologeticstraining.com/walking-a-labyrinth-exposed-02-new-age-mystics-and-wiccans-episode-159/

    1. That design is found on the floors of many medieval churches but has nothing to do withe the occult but rather was used during the ritual of consecration to guide the feet of the thurifer as he insensed the Church. It was a symbol of new beginning and creation and thus evoked what happened during that 6 hour ritual: the coming of the Holy Spirit, Lord of Life and recreator of souls. However if a modern Church was built to have one, I would presume an occult possible significance, for many clergy are satanists, as can be seen from what we are currently living in.
