The Roman Catholic Church is indeed the font of Western Civilization. Starting with the early Church Fathers and Doctors, St. Augustine, St. Thomas Aquinas, the continuation of Greek Thought and Philosophy in the bones of Catholic Theology, Irish Monks furiously scribing away keeping it all alive in the early Middle Ages, the Catholic patrons of art and music. And finally, the millions of Catholic priests, brothers and religious who traveled the globe spreading the Gospel and alleviating the sufferings of the poor and ignorant. The Roman Catholic Church has done more for humanity than any other institution in the history of mankind. Deus Vult.
Agree The Catholic Religion is the font of Civilization but since Vatican II the process has reversed.
Actually not, since after Vatican II we do not have the Catholic religion ….
