Perpetual Supplica

THESE PRAYERS ARE SAID EACH MIDNIGHT
IN FRONT OF THE BASILICA OF SANTA MARIA MAGGIORE AT ROME

This devotion is inspired by the request made by Our Lady Herself in
Bl. Anne Catherine Emmerich’s Vision of

August 25, 1822: “I know not now how I went to Rome last night, but I found myself near the church of Santa Maria Maggiore. Around it I saw crowds of poor, pious souls, in great distress and anxiety on account of the Pope’s disappearance and the agitation and alarming reports throughout the city. Led by one common impulse, they had come to invoke the Mother of God. They did not expect to find the church open, they intended only to pray outside. But I was inside, I opened the door and they entered, astounded at the door’s opening of itself. I was standing aloof where they could not see me. There was no service, only the chancel-lamps were burning, and the people knelt in quiet prayer. Then the Mother of God appeared. She said that great tribulations were at hand; that the people must pray earnestly with extended arms, if only for the length of three Our Fathers, for it was thus that her Son had prayed for them upon the Cross; that they should rise at midnight to pray thus; that they should continue to come to Her church which they would always find open; and that they should, above all, pray for the extirpation of the Church of Darkness. … I know not whether the people saw the apparition or not, but they must have been impressed by something supernatural for, when the Blessed Virgin said they should pray to God with arms extended, all lifted up their arms … It seemed to be an association of prayer.” From this time Sister Emmerich assisted nightly at the pious exercises at Santa Maria Maggiore. With love we honor Thee;
With hope we pray Thee
We proclaim Thee blessed.

Watch over the assembly of believers,
Mother of the Savior;
remove from them misfortunes and afflictions;
free them from evil and from the Evil One;
protect them with the abundance of Thy benevolence.

Al ritorno glorioso del Tuo Figlio, nostro Dio,
difendi con la Tua materna intercessione
la nostra fragilità umana
ed accompagnaci sino alla vita eterna
con la Tua mano gentile,
Tu che sei potente, perche Madre.
At the glorious return of Thy Son, our God,
defend with Thy maternal intercession
our human fragility
and accompany us unto eternal life
with Thy gentle hand,

Building a new Crusader spirit

DEUS VULT!

by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

One of the greatest moments in the history of the Catholic Religion, began when Pope Urban II, responding to the request of Our Lord in a mystical vision of Peter the Hermit, to liberate Christians oppressed by the cruel persecution of Muslims, called the Council of Clermont in France, and on Nov. 27, 1095 called the First Crusade.

In that one act he showed the way for all future generations of Catholics that works of true mercy are not just acts of individual piety, but are just works (opera ex iustitia) of the entire Mystical Body, which should envelope every social unit inside the Church, from the Papacy right down to the local fraternity: Clergy, religious and laity, of all professions and walks of life.

Responding to this spirit and inspiration today, the members of the Ordo Militaris Catholicus work together to help Christians who are persecuted for their faith, where that persecution requires security and defense initiatives similar to those of old. The greatest work of mercy is in fact one which no Christian organization today is organized to do.

Of course this takes a lot of planing and is an effort greater than all of us, but each in our own way we try to do what we can. Among those volunteers which the Order is graced to count as a member, Andrew Baalman as a tireless promoter and recruiter. Lately he has been producing simple videos to inspire others to join and support the Order in this spirit and holy work. And this is his latest video production, which I share here for the edification of all.

Our goal with this video is to encourage others to be investors in the private military corporation which our members have founded in Montana. It is my hope that we produce professional videos in the near future, but as we do not have yet the funds, getting the message out and refining how we present it, is our first goal.

That’s Enough! — End the Shutdown Today, or else!

by Karl Denninger

Reprinted from Market-Ticker.org

It’s over folks.

With more than 19.4 million people residents, the preliminary results indicate that at least 2.7 million New Yorkers have been infected with Covid-19.

The official data is that 257,000, roughly, NY State residents have had it.  The real number is 10x higher or more.

This in turn means the fatality rate is 10x lower or more.

And that, in turn, means that:

  • The risk of death is no greater than that of a bad seasonal flu.  This makes all of the lockdown and other suspension/mitigation measures worthless, as they were unjustified in fact and in law.  There is no basis for continuing any of them for even one more day.  That includes masks, “social distancing” restrictions or anything else.
    .
  • The capability to “track and trace” is a literal zero since 90% or more of the cases will never be recorded by anyone.  Therefore all claims of “track and trace” or anything related to it are not only unjustified they’re criminally insane or intended for other purposes.

Folks, the game’s over.  This is not the first such study but it’s the largest and in one of the “hot spots” — in fact, the hot spot.

The scientific facts are now in.  There is no scientific reason for any governor to support or allow any lockdown or suspension of any sort to continue for even one more day.  There is no reason predicated on science for any citizen to follow any such direction for even one more day.

IF the governors do not immediately lift, and our President does not immediately demand the lifting of all such orders right here, right now, within the next hour then the government at both State and Federal levels is entirely illegitimate, it is now committing felony kidnapping and there is just cause for it to be removed and replaced by any means necessary.

The debate, on the science, is over.

Jesus is our Savior, let us go to Him!

by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

One of the criticisms of evangelicals against Catholics is that Jesus is not in the forefront of our religious thought and motivation.  While this is patently false as regards the Church as an institution, it however can come about in individual souls of all Christians, not just Catholics.

Jesus is our Savior!

Yes, we believe this. But we must avoid the errors which would reduce faith to a sentiment of trust or to an intellectual act of mere assent to an ideal or doctrine.

Saint Bonaventure’s exposition of the theological virtue of faith avoided the error that can result from  Saint Thomas Aquinas’ definition. For Aquinas, faith was a virtue of the intellect, not the will. But for Saint Bonaventure, faith was a virtue which governed both intellect and will.

It is no surprise, then, that when Martin Luther attacked the Catholic Religion on the question of the virtue of faith, he was responding to the preaching of a Dominican, not a Franciscan!

Putting the differences of Saint Bonaveture and Saint Thomas aside, since they are both Doctors of the Church in Scholastic and Dogmatic Theology, we need to recognize that when we assent in our minds to the truth that Jesus is our Savior, we also need to consent in our wills to regard Jesus our our Savior.

And for this we need to understand that as all Scripture and Tradition hand down, the salvation of which we speak, when we call Jesus our “Savior” does not merely take place at the moment of death, or regard the world to come. Rather, it regards the present moment and all the moments, places, and decision which we will pass through, come to be in and make, respectively, on the way to the hour of our own death and beyond.

Jesus is Our Savior, then, because, by His Passion and Death

  1. He redeemed all Creation, including myself.
  2. He atoned for all sin, including my sins, past, present and future.
  3. He merited all grace for all creatures capable of receiving it, of which I am the most unworthy.
  4. He did that which no one could do, including myself.
  5. He did that which had to be done, else the world and myself go necessarily to damnation.
  6. He did that which alone is capable from saving me from the power of Satan before and after death.
  7. And finally, He did that which He did not have to do, and at great price to Himself, such that all creation, including myself, owe Him a profound and eternal and infinite gratitude, of the kind which is religious and sacred and continual and habitual.

But the wonderful truth that Jesus is our Savior, is that in every moment of our lives and in every problem we can turn to Him for salvation.  And the kind of prayer and request which He is most pleased to receive is that of the sinner seeking salvation. This is so, because that is the prayer for which He descended from Heaven and died upon the Cross by such a bloody and painful and shameful execution.

This truth that Jesus is our Savior then, should be more than a truth, it should be a rule of live and daily existence.

Let us therefore go to Jesus, physically, by visiting Him in the Most Blessed Sacrament and attending Mass, when we can.

Let us go to Jesus by turning to Him in prayer at the beginning and end and throughout the day.

Let us go to Jesus by trusting in His infinite power to save us and rescue us from every danger.

Let us go to Jesus to save us from the habits of our sins, from the tragedy of our lives of sin, from the evil effects of turning away from Him in sin, and to obtain the grace to repent and repair the effects of our sins, in ourselves and in others.

And let us go to Jesus especially to ask for the light to see what we truly are and how much we truly need Him and His help, so that begging with humility, we might obtain as He is wont to grant, generous and efficacious graces for our own salvation and that of all.

But Jesus is our Savior, also, in the sense that the “our” refers to the whole Church, and not just to each of us individually.

And now more than every, we need to run to Jesus as OUR Savior! — As can plainly be seen everywhere.

Dr. Dan Erickson: COVID-19 Conference

Experts in Mircobiology say the facts show that the Pandemic is a Hoax, inasmuch as the response to it is not following scientific methods, but rather has exaggerated by many orders of magnitude. Affirms that doctors all around the USA have the same opinion.

Youtube took this video down at the end of April, but the first part can be seen still here:

https://www.turnto23.com/news/coronavirus/video-interview-with-dr-dan-erickson-and-dr-artin-massihi-taken-down-from-youtube

Lockdowns are not necessary, COVID-19 is simply another flu in its lethality.

Lockdown is increasing child abuse, suicide, spousal abuse, alcoholism.

Lockdown will cause decrease immune system preparedness for whole population.

Some comments, I would add to this video for clarity:

Regarding to interior locutions which are prophetic in nature, while their truth is known by their fulfillment, if they regard things which individuals can achieve by their own free actions, they are not proven true by their fulfillment, because the one fulfilling them might do so by merely human means. This is how the Devil can give false prophecies in false locutions to deceive others to enter into obedience to himself.

As regards whether COVID-19 is a punishment from God, one must make distinctions. Inasmuch as it is designed by men, it is not from God. Inasmuch as God has permitted the evil intentions of many men to bring about the spread of disease which is man-altered or naturally occurring is a punishment from God, but not from Him formally, from Him rather as one permitting it, just like the Second World War, according to Our Lady of Fatima, was a punishment from God, but not caused by God.

But inasmuch as the pandemic is a stunt, a hoax, since, COVID-19 being designed with parts of viruses for which many already have immunity, it was never an existential threat to any nation, and in that regard, the hoax is not a punishment of God, it is a crime of men.
