Adrian Willaert: Magnificat sex toni

Today we continue our perusal of the sacred repertoire of Adrian Willaert, with his Magnificat, the Hymn composed by Our Lady to praise the Incarnation, on the occasion of her visit to Saint Elizabeth.

This performance is by the Oxford Cammerata.

At 5 P.M., FromRome.Info brings you a selection of sacred music from Catholic composers throughout the ages, for your edification and to help us all realize how profoundly inimical the Aggiornamento has been to Catholic worship.

Trad Inc. thinks you are a donkey

by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

When Bergoglio was elected, Rorate Caeli published within 24 hours a devastating critique of him by an Argentine correspondent. During the Last 7 years we have seen the Remnant, Catholic Family News, the Fatima Center, One Peter Five, LifeSite News, the National Catholic Register, and nearly all the Italian Bloggers criticize Bergoglio heavily with every new perversion, heresy, or sacrilege he issues. Then comes the petitions or the public letters or denunciations. Then comes silence. Then they pretend to wait. Then they just pretend to oppose. Then they praise and fault those who say something more should be done. Some of them are even now praising what Bergoglio has done. They say he is acting like a pope should!

The only constants with Trad Inc. are their insistence that Bergoglio is the Pope, whether he be a heretic or not, whether he be a schismatic or not, whether he be a Freemason or not, etc. etc. etc.

BUT DON’T YOU DARE judge Bergoglio! Only they have the right to do that!

AND DON’T YOU DARE demand that he be removed or put on trial for heresy!

The High Priest of Trad Inc. yesterday told us that we are pelagians if we want to solve the problem of Bergoglio like all the Fathers and Saints of the Church in similar times did.

We must rather wait for Divine Intervention – so they say.

The other day a group of Catholics published a call for an Inquest on the canonical problems in the Vatican, to start the ball rolling towards an imperfect council to depose Bergoglio and restore Benedict.

Trad Inc. ignored it.

Trad Inc. ignored the only canonical solution for all the problems they have lamented for 7 years.

Why do they not want a legal solution?

Trad Inc. instead published Bishop Schneider’s porridge of falsehood and presumption: LifeSite News, Rorate Caeli, and One Peter Five. Steve Skojec even went to so far as to say that Schneider should be the next pope! — He just said a man who denies the Catholic Faith on the effect of heresy should be the next pope!

Trad Inc. has been constant in one more thing. They are constant in treating YOU like a donkey, a jack-ass. Because they toss a carrot of Catholicism in the air in front of you, but always out of reach and expect you to move in that direction, but you never get the carrot, it always has strings attached. And the carrot is always snapped back, when you start to actually move in the direction it was tossed.

They talked about an imperfect council 4 years ago. And now they run quasi heretical screed to distract your attention from a call to start the process.

I thank the Catholics who have exposed what we have long suspected about Trad Inc.. They are on the take. There is big money supporting them and it actually does come with conditions on how to react to Bergoglio. It insists that Bergoglio is the pope and that they toe the line with their readers, deceiving them of the facts and denying the truth or even ignoring the news.

I have spent 35 years reading the publications of various members of Trad Inc. I feel profoundly disappointed. The feeling is not as intense as a boy who has been raped by his local priest, but its similar. They have intentionally misrepresented their motives as Catholic. Their motives are otherwise, much more base. Maybe they do not all get money out of it. But they have chosen Bergoglio despite of all the laws and facts to the contrary.

A Church of HIV has no courage against the Corona Virus

by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

The Bergoglians are running in terror. They have closed worship in two entire dioceses in Northern Italy. They are refusing to distribute the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar in mouths. They are positively terrified.

It makes no sense, since the Corona Virus only attacks those who are already in poor health and most of these are the very elderly who cannot make it to church anyhow.

But it makes sense if the leadership of your Church is HIV positive, because you have no or a very weakened immune system.

Those who want to make up their religion have no supernatural motives and no real hope of eternal life. They know that, because they know that howsoever much they might pretend, their god, themselves, is not a god and cannot save them from Death.

Catholics on the other hand continue to go bravely to Mass and to communion, placing all their hope in the God of Life who rose from the death and can protect His own from eternal death and temporal death.

Many Catholics in Italy have never accepted communion in the hand. This current trial is helping many open their eyes to the fact that the Bishops in communion with Bergoglio are atheists, that is, they believe in nothing but their own ideologies. They have, thus, no courage or hope against the Corona Virus.

The closing of Churches and refusal of the Sacraments, however, shows that the Bergoglian Church has the long term goal to close churches and end the Sacraments. They want a religion where you pay them to enjoy themselves in debauchery, and to receive from them the thinking points for the one world order.  All those who insist Bergoglio is the pope are collaborators with that agenda whether they want it or not.

Oh, any let us take note of this: AIDS is 100% lethal, Corona Virus is 1.9% lethal. But they never shut the Churches or insisted on communion in the Hand for the former plague. They had no fear of it, they did not want to “stigmatize” those who had it. They acted as if they already had it, or if those with it were already their own. Telling. Very telling.

Bugnolo of the Reliquary of the Holy Cross at the Basilica of the Holy Cross in Jerusalem, at Rome.  The base of the reliquary, made out of gold and silver, shows two angels holding the instruments of Christ’s passion: the sponge of vinegar and the spear which pierced His Side. They are positioned as if to say — after the manner of the Cherubim who guarded the way back to Paradise — Stand back all of you, who have not the faith, the True Tree of Life is not for your tasting!

St. Bernard reminds us of the goal and of the victory!

by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

Saint Bernard of Clairaux is the great patron of all Catholics now engaged in the canonical battle to restore Pope Benedict to the Apostolic throne and to remove the usurper and Anti-Pope, Jorge Mario Bergoglio, a.k.a. Francis, from the Vatican.

He is the patron saint for all of us because at the Council of Etamps in 1130 A. D., he judged Anacletus II a antipope and with that council ordered him to be deposed and dislodged from Rome. He attended more than a half dozen other Synods and Councils which declared the same thing.

Moreover, though he was a man of peace, he understood that force of arms was at times necessary to restore peace. So he accompanied the Imperial Armies to Rome to drive the Anti-pope out. And having entered the city, he preached in the major Churches the canonical facts which proved that Innocent II, and not Anacletus II, was the true pope.

So great was this victory in the sight of the Church of Rome, that here in the Eternal City, it is commemorated with an Altar, and not just any altar, but an altar at the Basilica of the Most Holy Cross in Jerusalem, which I visited this morning and which I gave you a virtual tour of in my previous post.

Here I include some photos of St. Bernard’s victory, which show him presenting the antipope Victor IV, the successor of Anacletus II (who died in schism), to Pope Innocent II. Victor II makes an act of obeisance to the true Pope and surrenders the symbols of the office he had usurped. The glory, magnificence and stunning victory of which is emblazoned in a painting above side altar:

Here is a detail of the same:

For all those who are defending Pope Benedict XVI these images are precious, so I grant you permission to use them in whatever medium to promote the truth that Pope Benedict XVI is the true pope and that the Saints are on our side in this battle. With them, in the cause of God, we shall obtain the victory, if we persevere and fight bravely and courageously and perseveringly against all obstacles and all enemies.

Here is the official description of the painting:

A Pilgrim’s Visit to the Basilica of the Holy Cross in Jerusalem at Rome

by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

Every Catholic dreams of visiting Rome and making the pilgrimage to the 7 Patriarchal Basilicas, which are the object of the devotion of the faithful seeking the plenary indulgence for pilgrims to Rome. But not all of us have the opportunity or the means. For this reason, FromRome.Info publishes a series of virtual visits, so that Catholics everywhere can know something of these holy places and gather some grace by visiting them in spirit.

See our previous reports:

Today, I made a pilgrimage to the Basilica of Santa Croce in Gerusalemme, which contains the most holy relics of the Passion of the Lord. Here in video and image is what you would see, if you came alone with me, this morning at Rome.

Then as you enter, you see this amazing sight:

IMG_20200301_090857

This is the view of the Nave of the Church from the front door. In front, and the end of the Nave is the Apse containing the High Altar and a magnificent Fresco of Christ the Teacher, revealed in the immensity of Heaven.

Everything about this Basilica is amazing. Look at the floor, covered with precious marble tiles in the mosaic style of the High Middle Ages, which imitated that of Constantinople:

IMG_20200301_084520

Then there are some magnificent side altars and devotional images. Here is some of them.  First, Our Lady of Grace:

IMG_20200301_084234

Then, a side altar dedicated to Saint Bruno, showing him miraculously remove a tooth from a Martyr’s skull, so as to obtain a relic for the devotion of the faithful.

IMG_20200301_084222

The acolyte to the right is vested in the style of the 16th century: that object in his hands is a double candle: here in Italy, on occasion they fuse two long candles together, side by side, to prevent each from breaking. Their use is customary in solemn processions. Saint Bruno to the left is weather the habit of the Eremitical Order which he founded: the Carthusians. He is depicted in this side altar, because at one time his Order had the care of the Basilica.

The Next is a side altar of Christ Crucified, with an ancient wooden carving of Our Lord upon His Cross:

IMG_20200301_084812

Here, now, is a short video showing the magnificent Sanctuary of the Basilica. In Italian, they call this the Presbiterio, because it is the place reserved for the clergy. At the center is the High Altar, covered above with an elegant Marble and Wood Canopy supported by four pillars. High above in the Apse, there is a quarter-dome with a splendid fresco in late Renaissance style depicting Saint Helena discovering the Holy Cross, venerating it, and carrying it off to Constantinople accompanied by troops of the Imperial Army of her son Constantine.

If you noticed, beneath the High Altar is a marble reliquary: it contains the relics of Saint Helena, and is based on a design found in the Roman Catacombs, at the altars of the Martyrs. This is the ancient reason why in the Latin Rite, relics of the Saints are placed inside or beneath high altars, so that the prayers of the Mass might be accompanied to Heaven by the prayers of the Saints whose relics are enshrined therein.

Here is a better photograph of the High Altar and Apse:

IMG_20200301_085005

In the next video, which follows, I take you step by step to the Chapel of the Holy Cross, which is located behind the High Altar, but which is approached through a separate hallway, and I show you the wonderful Relics kept there.

The treasure of treasures and the goal of every pilgrim is to kneel before the Relics of our Salvation, and beg the Lord Who hung upon them to redeem us for every grace and blessing:

IMG_20200301_085832

The 4 Major Relics of the Holy Cross are in the 4 arms of the Cross Shaped Reliquary at the center of the above photo. Beneath,  on the left, is a reliquary containing one of the Nails which held Our Lord to His Cross in his 3 Hour long Agony for our salvation. On the right,  next to it, is the reliquary of the Tabella, the piece of wood on which Pontius Pilate had etched in Greek, Latin and Hebrew:  Jesus Christ, King of the Jews!

In the reliquaries above, I am only certain of this, that the one on the right contains 2 thorns of the Crown of Thorns.
