40 Days of prayer against the Church of Darkness — Day 19

FromRome.Info Video, recorded tonight at Santa Maria Maggiore.

ALL ARE INVITED TO JOIN US IN PRAYER AT MIDNIGHT EACH NIGHT, IN FRONT OF THE BASILICA OF SANTA MARIA MAGGIORE AT ROME

Intro

In the year of Our Lord 1820, God revealed to Bl. Anne Catherine Emmerich that the Church of Rome would one day be attacked from within. That there would be two popes: one false and dark, who strove to found a new Religion which would be the home of every heretic and apostate: one true and aged, who would be paralyzed by inaction and silence.

To drive the Church of Darkness out of the Church of Rome, it was revealed to her that Our Lady asked the faithful to gather at Midnight in front of the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, here at Rome, and pray with arms outstretched, in the form of the Cross, for the space of at least 3 Our Fathers.

Prayers being said Tonight at Rome

In nomine Patri et Filii et Spiritus Sancti. Amen.

Pater noster qui es in coelis, sanctificetur nomen tuum;
adveniat regnum tuum, fiat voluntas tua, sicut in coelo et in terra.
Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie,
et dimitte nobis debita nostra, sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris.
et ne nos inducas in tentationem, sed libera nos a malo. Amen.

Padre nostro che sei nei cieli, sia santificato il tuo nome;
Amen. (3 volte)

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name,
Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our Daily Bread,
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us,
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen. (3 times)

Gloria Patri et Filio et Spiritui Sancto,
Sicut erat in principio, et nunc et semper, et in saecula saeculorum. Amen.

NOTE: Since, Bl. Anna-Katerina Emmerich had this vision in 1820, before the invention of time zones, midnight here should be understood in solar time, which at Rome makes midnight occur at 12:22 AM, presently, and thus the hour of midnight would be 11:52 AM to 12:52 AM. Try to say your prayers in that hour.

This Novena is explained and announced here in English, and here in Italian, in each place the citations from Bl. Emmerich about these prayers are given.

See the article published yesterday at FromRome.Info, The Church of Light vs. the Church of Darkness for more about this Novena of Prayer.

PLEASE NOTE: That until From Rome Info Video Channel at Youtube gets 1000 subscribers, it will NOT be able to broadcast the Nightly Prayers Live. So let all who are devoted to Jesus Christ, Our Lady and Bl. Ann Catherine Emmerich know that they need to urge subscriptions to this channel, so that we can promote the fulfillment of Our Lady’s Request for Her Heavenly-Approved prayer solution to the present Crisis in the Church.

To put a Newspaper ad calling Catholics at Rome to this pray vigil, will cost 2000 euros. Help us spread the word by a generous contribution here below. Our Lady promised victory, let us mobilize everyone to the battle!

Polish Bishop Conference attacks Archbishop Lenga for defending Celibacy

By Br. Alexis Bugnolo

Arcbhishop Jan Pawel Lenga is well know for his denunciation of the agenda of Bergoglio as masonic. FromRome.Info republished his letter the other day about this.

To his credit, the Archbishop is back in the news, this time on Polish TV where he has openly condemned both the project to undermine priestly celibacy by Bergoglio and to approve sodomy by the German Episcopal Conference.

In response, the spokesman for the Polish Bishop Conference publicly denounced the Archbishop. The news hit TV in Poland, last night:

The condemnation was issued on January 22, 2020. Here is an English text of the translation by our Polish correspondent:

Statement on the Archbishop’s statement John Paul Lenga

In connection with the discussion on the archbishop’s statements John Paul Lenga, I remind you that Archbishop Lenga has never been and is not a member of the Polish Episcopal Conference. I informed about this in the Więź quarterly (Autumn 2019, 3 [677]). Statements of Archbishop Therefore, Lenga cannot be identified with the Polish Episcopal Conference. They cannot be treated as positions of Polish bishops.

It is regrettable that Archbishop Lenga appears in the media and misleads the faithful.

I would like to inform you that Archbishop Lenga does not represent the Catholic Church in Poland.

Ks. dr Paweł Rytel-Andrianik

Spokesman for the Polish Episcopal Conference
Warsaw, 22 January 2020

In the Video above, Archbishop Lenga replies to the charges, declaring his upmost fidelity to stay faithful to Christ, after the example of the path Saint John the Baptist took. Today’s path to Christ is difficult to take because it is overgrown (by weeds). However as Saint John gives us example, so the Archbishop wants to pave the path to Christ for the faithful… He doubts the above statement represents all Bishops in Poland, as some might be afraid to voice their opinion overwhelmed by fear of political and religious correctness. He clearly undermines the worldliness and cowardice of today’s Bishops The argument against Abp Lenga stemming out of the official statement is that by speaking publicly he falsly and illicitly represented the Polish Bishops. His reply is that when a Bishop speaks individually, he has the right and represents himself not the conference.

Archbishop Lenga is fluent in Polish, but is the Archbishop Emeritus of Karaganda, Kazakhstan, whose episcopal lineage traces back to the great Saint Pius X.

This is not the first time the Polish Bishop’s Conference has attempted to smear the Archbishop with such pubic statements. It happened before, when he talked about Masonry in the Church in 2017.

Jean Mouton: Quaeramus cum pastoribus

As we continue to peruse the sacred repertoire of Jean Mouton, we feature his Christmas Antiphon, Quaeramus cum pastoribus — We sought Him with the shepherds, performed by The Renaissance Singers in concert at St George’s Bloomsbury 15th December 2018.

FromRome.Info every day at 5 P.M. Rome time, features a selection of sacred music from the repertoire of Catholic composers throughout the ages, so our readers can better understand how foreign and inimical to Catholicism is the liturgical reforms enacted in the name and spirit of Vatican II.

It’s like divorce, but it isn’t

By Br. Alexis Bugnolo

I love a good debate, but it’s disappointing to see one side with no arguments. It’s even sadder to see grown men attempt to craft an argument from an assertion which does not fit the case. It’s like someone claiming the world is flat, because ships disappear partially and totally as they head off the horizon!

Anyone with the slightest conception of three dimension geometry knows that that argument proves the world is not flat!

Just so the latest refuge of the “Bergoglio is definitely the pope” crowd. And such it merits a refutation, although I hate knock outs, there is nothing dramatic in them.

It’s like divorce, but it isn’t

Their argument goes like this:

Just as a married man must presume his marriage is valid,
until an annulment tribunal decrees otherwise,
so Catholics must presume the Renunciation is valid,
until the Church decrees otherwise.

Except that is not an argument. That is an analogy or comparison.

An argument, for anyone who knows logic, has a major premise and a minor premise and a conclusion. When you put your thoughts into arguments, then you can see immediately whether they are valid or not, because the human mind has a natural capacity — when not being forced by bad will — to see the truth.

So let’s do the homework of the opposition, and put their analogy into logical form:

Major premise: Every juridical act must be presumed to be valid unless judged otherwise by a legitimate court of law.

Minor premise: Marriage vows are a juridical act.

Conclusion: Marriage vows are to be presumed valid unless judged otherwise by a legitimate court of law.

So let us imagine that Johnnie is doing his homework and shows this to Mommy, who happens to have a Ph.D. in Logic and a J.C.D. in Canon law. (My hypothetical is obviously contrary to fact).

MOMMY: Johnnie that is wonderful. But you are not finished yet. Your conclusion has to be about Papal renunciations, not marriage vows.  Perhaps use another syllogism which combined with the first, will arrive at the right conclusion!

And Johnny goes to work.

Major premise: Every juridical act must be presumed to be valid unless judged otherwise by a legitimate court of law.

Minor premise: A Papal renunciation is a juridical act.

Conclusion: Every papal renunciation must be presumed to be valid unless judged otherwise by a legitimate court of law.

And Johnny shows his work to Mommy.

MOMMY: Johnny, now you have the correct conclusion, but the weakness in your minor premise.

JOHNNY: How is that Mommie?

MOMMY:  Because in accord with Canon 332 §2, a papal renunciation is only a juridical act if it is a certain kind of act. Otherwise it is an actus nullus, invalidus or irritus.

JOHNNY: Which kind?

MOMMY: The kind which is a renunciation of munus.

JOHNNY: But that is what the whole controversy is about.

MOMMY: Are you trying to resolve the controversy or just trying to make it look like you won! Remember what I told you about growing up. You have to stop with the juvenile — I am right, shut up! — behavior which got you that bloody nose last year in elementary school.

JOHNNY: This home work is too hard!

MOMMY: I want to encourage you, Johnny, but the major has a problem too.

JOHNNY: What is that!

MOMMY: Your argument does not say why a juridical act is presumed valid, or why an act of matrimony and renunciation are the same species of act.

JOHNNY: Mommy, can’t you just tell me?

MOMMY: Well, Johnny, I cannot do your homework for you! — But I will help by asking questions, ok?

JOHNNY. O.K.

MOMMY: When you presume something is valid, you presume first of all what?

JOHNNY: That something is pre-existing.

MOMMY: What is pre-existing between a married man and his wife?

JOHNNY: The marriage vows.

MOMMY: What is pre-existing in a Papal Renunciation?

JOHNNY: The papal vows, that is, the agreement by the man who is the pope, to be the pope.

MOMMY: That’s right! So if you are to presume marriage vows are valid, until proven otherwise, then you are to presume WHAT is valid until proven otherwise?

JOHNNY: The pope’s decision to be and remain the pope, of course!

MOMMY: That is right!

JOHNNY: But, Mommy, that is not the conclusion I want to present in class, because I hate Annie and Alexie and Marky, who are all supporting that side of the argument!

MOMMY: Johnny, what did I tell you about being juvenile?

A Real Case that is not a Real Case

The problem with the argument used in the Tweet shown to the Left, is the same.

The more fundamental legal principle which is the Major Premise of all arguments in this matter is that the cessation of power or of right is not presumed. Therefore, it has to be proven and juridically established. Otherwise, you are saying that a man who is certain in his own opinion that the marriage he entered into before Church witnesses, is invalid, can act as if his marriage never existed,* when he is thus certain, without first obtaining an annulment, if he is even eligible.

Likewise, in regard to the Renunciation, you would be saying as Grant seems to be saying, that a man who is certain in his own opinion that the Renunciation ended the holding of the papal office, can presume the man is no longer the valid pope, when he is thus certain, without first obtaining a judgement of the Church. But that contradicts the principle ‘the cessation of power and right is not presumed’.

We do not presume a marriage made is invalid. And we do not presume a pope made is un-poped. We must have certain and juridical proof.

Canon 332 §2 is the only authority and tribunal of that certitude. Grant wants it that it be the Cardinals or Bishops, or the agreement of everyone alive or of his friends, like Steve Skojec. But that is expressly denied in the final clause of Canon 332 §2.

But there is a deeper problem with Grant’s approach. And it is this: matrimony is a Sacrament not simply a contract ad libitum, voluntarily separable as much as enterable. As a Sacrament it can never be broken. Those who enter into it have the power to enter, but no one has the power to end the contract, except Sister Death. But the Papacy is not a contract, but it is severable. A man accepts his election according to the norm of law, and can be separated from what he accepted according to the norm of law.

But it has to be according to the norm of law. Otherwise, a pope might accidentally un-pope himself after drinking too much wine, during a fever, while being threatened with death, or after being convinced his health is so bad, by those around him, he cannot go on for another seven years. — And it must be according to the norm of law, not according to the opinion of men. Otherwise, you would have anti-popes elected when popes still lived, simply because Cardinals wanted it so. And nearly all anti-popes in the last 1000 years were caused by wanton Cardinals.

Something sounds familiar about that…if you have eyes to see.

_________

FOOTNOTE

* The case of the marriage that never was, but was ratified in Church and is presumed in law to be valid, is a bit more complex. Though there are cases in which a marriage might be objectively invalid, but sanable, that is, able to be made valid — e.g. your wife did not get an annulment prior to marrying you and concealed this, but was eligible to get one. However, if there is objective verifiable cause that the marriage is invalid, and contrary to divine law — e. g. you discover that your wife was adopted and that she is in fact your sister — then you must cease to cohabit with her. So there are cases of invalidity which can morally oblige one to sever marital relations in fact, privately at least, until an annulment is obtained, though there is no case in which one can proceed to act in the external forum as an unmarried spouse with liberty to engage another in a romance or marriage, prior to such an annulment regardless the cause, on account of the obligations of all parties to obedience to the Church, justice, modesty and humility as well as avoiding giving scandal and harming the reputations of others.

The implicit blasphemies of Bergoglians

By Br. Alexis Bugnolo

There has been much written about the blasphemies which come forth from the mouth of Jorge Mario Bergoglio as a torrent out of a mouth of a dragon intent upon destroying Holy Mother Church (cf. Apocalpyse, chapter 12).

But little has been written about the blasphemies implicit in the position of those who insist that he is the pope or a member of the Catholic Church, and not separated from Her in virtue of Canon 1364, ipso facto a thousand times over.

Blasphemy consists chiefly in attributing evil to God. It is the most outrageous attack on the Divine Majesty because God is infinite Goodness and there is no darkness in Him.

For this reason, if any rational creature, Angelic or human, were to hold as true something which implies God is evil, he would be guilty of implicit blasphemy or blasphemy in causa, as the moralists say, because the assent of his mind to the evil reason would be the cause of him inevitably verbally blaspheming God, a thing which is happening more and more with those who refuse to examine the abundant, clear and incontrovertible evidence of history and law, that Pope Benedict XVI is still the pope because he never resigned in accord with Canon 332.

But since these horrible sins of blasphemy are overlooked by the controlled Catholic Media, it is a necessity that they be exposed for what they are by the Catholic media which is not controlled.

Falsehoods which imply and cause blasphemy

Here I will list just a few, I am sure you can think of more. Just add your suggestions in the comments:

  1. That a true pope can hand over 30 Million Catholics to be persecuted unto death, simply because he wants good relations or financial support from a Marxist Dictatorship, and still be the pope.
  2. That a true pope can blaspheme God and the Saints and still be the pope.
  3. That a true pope can alter the Our Father.
  4. That a true pope can abandon Apostolic Teaching on the Sacraments.
  5. That a true pope can work to overthrow the teaching of the Church against sodomy, abortion, contraception.
  6. That a true pope can institutionalize idolatry in the Church.
  7. That a true pope can replace the Gospel with the Agenda of Globalism.
  8. That a true pope can authorize any of the above.
  9. That Jesus Christ, Who promised Saint Peter and His successors, that He would pray for them, that their faith NEVER fail, is praying for Bergoglio.
  10. That the Most Holy Trinity would give us such a monster to be His Vicar.
  11. That Jesus Christ would want us to obey such a monster as His Vicar.
  12. That the Most Holy Trinity and the Saints of Heaven are in communion with such a monster.
  13. That God thinks it is a sin to NOT name Bergoglio in the Canon of the Mass.
  14. That God reckons as sinners, heretics or schismatics those who separate themselves from such a monster, denounce him or fault him for his abominations and sacrileges.
  15. That God could tolerate as His Vicar a man who refuses to kneel before Himself in the Most Blessed Sacrament.
  16. That God could tolerate as His Vicar a man who blasphemies His Holy Immaculate Mother.
  17. That God could regard as His Vicar a man elected in the lifetime of His Vicar in contravention to canon 359.

So when next anyone tells you that the apologists for Bergoglio or those members of the the College of Cardinals, College of Bishops, Catholic clergy or the Catholic media, who insist Bergoglio is the pope, ARE NOT INVOLVED IN GREAT FRAUD and evil, recite to them this list of blasphemies.

Note well: anyone who does not think blasphemy is a sin, either is an atheist or a devil worshipper.

AP squashes reporting on Vatican’s persecution of Catholics at Grex Vocum

Rome — Feb. 15, 2020: On Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2020, more than 20 Catholics came to the Piazza San Pietro to attend the event known as, Grex Vocum. The event organized by Catholics of the Diocese of Rome was to be an occasion in which the faithful would respectfully express — in accord with their canonical rights granted in Canon 212 of the 1983 Code of Canon Law, promulgated by john Paul II — their disapproval for the course of events in the Church in the last seven years.

As soon as the event began at 11:30, numerous policemen descended upon anyone in the Piazza whom they thought might be attending the event, and if they admitted such, their passports or identification papers were taken and held without cause. Then if any cause could be found they were escorted out of Vatican territory. This happened regardless of whether the persons were speaking or not.

In one case, a woman from Northern Italy was asked to leave the Piazza because upon opening her handbag the Police found pro-life literature against euthanasia! This testimony was given FromRome.Info Video last night.

Br. Bugnolo, as has been reported, was taken away for questioning.  Br Bugnolo is a citizen journalist and editor of this News Site. Bugnolo was told during questioning that whatever claims he would make would be communicated to the Vatican Secretary of State. His detention on Vatican soil was a gross violation of the rights of the free press in addition to his rights in accord with the international Charter for Human Rights regarding freedom of religion, freedom of speech and freedom to cross international borders.

Yet, as of today, to the knowledge of FromRome.Info, the Associated Press has not published any report about the Vatican’s persecution of peaceful Catholics on its own sovereign territory nor about the expulsion of legal non-immigrants from its territory.

According to the testimony given Br. Bugnolo, the AP had a camera crew in Italian territory capable of filming the harassment and persecution of Catholics. His apprehension was witnessed by another faithful who captured it on camera. In his photos are images of the Associated Press reporter who witnessed it all. The AP reporter has Br. Bugnolo’s contact information, yet failed to contact him as of this morning, even though she asked several times for an interview and promised to contact him for one.

All of this raises serious ethical questions about the Associated Press’ collaboration with the Bergoglian regime at the Vatican which suppresses the rights of Catholics in broad daylight in the presence of their reporters and camera crews!

Grex Vocum — Second Interview

By Br. Alexis Bugnolo

I had the distinct honor to meet another faithful Roman Catholic, tonight, who had been in the Piazza S. Pietro, Tuesday morning, for the event known as Grex Vocum reported previously here, here and here.

His name is Emiliano, and he is a real Roman Catholic, being a Catholic who lives and resides at Rome. He joined me for the 40 Days of Prayer Against the Church of Darkness in front of the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, at Midnight.

Here is my interview with Emiliano, which would have run longer, except the cellphone I use ran out of memory.  Emiliano is quite fluent in English, and out of kindness to the readers of FromRome.Info, he agreed to do the interview in English:

Emiliano’s testimony is twofold: First I ask him about what happened to him in the Piazza S. Pietro, and then I interview him, as I intended to interview all who attended the Grex Vocum event on Tuesday. For that reason, I call this video, the Grex Vocum — Second Interview.

Emiliano’s testimony utterly shatters the myth of Steve Skojec about universal acceptance. Present with me and Emiliano tonight for the Novena was another Roman Catholic — who asked not to be identified or filmed — who said that he was standing in the Piazza S. Pietro on March 13, 2013, when Bergoglio was announced as the new pontiff. And recognized he was a false pope from the very moment he said, Good evening! to the crowds, breaking with the solemn tradition of the papal blessing.

The Holy Ghost reveals to His own, who are NOT His own.
