Guillaume Du Fay: Lamentatio Sanctae Matris Ecclesiae Constantinopolitanae

We continue today our perusal of the sacred repertoire of Guillaume Du Fay, with his Lamentation for the Holy Mother Church of Constantinople.

The Fall of Constantinople in 1453 to the forces of the Muslim Turks struck at the hearts of all Christendom, even in the West of Europe. The Church of Constantinople was of very ancient origin and had been one of the principle 5 Patriarchates of the Early Church. Following the capture of the city by the forces of the Fourth Crusade, Latin Patriarchs governed the city for many decades. So there was intimate knowledge of the city among many travelers and nobility in Western Europe.

And thus, following the capture of the City by the infidels, there was widespread lamentation throughout Europe, even in Catholic Churches. Thus, the origin of this piece.

For the text and an English translation of the lyrics of this touching lament, see the YouTube page for this video, which the author has illustrated in a beautiful manner with images of what Constantinople looked like under Christian rule.

The Enemies of Pope Benedict XVI

by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

What really has been going on in the Church since the reign of Pius XII? — And what really was going on in the Church during the reign of Pope Benedict XVI?  These questions raise themselves in the mind of those who seek an explanation for Vatican II and the coup d’etat which drove  Pope Benedict XVI from power in February of 2013.

I have previously written about that Coup d’etat in my article entitled, The Vatican Coup d’etat of February 2013. And in my articles, entitled, Pope Benedict’s Forced Abdication, The Imprisonment of Pope Benedict XVI and How Benedict has defeated ‘Francis’. All of which should be read to better understand what I am about to say here.

Also, before reading here, see my article on Facts vs. Conjecture, so you can better understand what I am about to say.

The House of Cardinal Bertone

One of the major factions in the Roman Curia is the House of Cardinal Tarcisio PIetro Evasio Bertone, that is, the group of Cardinals and Bishops of whom he is the principal consecrator or co-consecrator. You can see the entire list, in the right column of his page at Catholic-Hierarchy.org. He was Pope Benedict XVI’s replacement for Cardinal Sodano in the all important post of Secretary of State, a position to which he was promoted on September 15, 2006, the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows.

His influence even today is being felt on account of the members of his faction: Cardinal Parolo and Archbishop Gänswein, whom he co-consecrated in 2009 and 2013 respectively.

During the recent Book Flap, no less than Archbishop Viganò testified that Archbishop Gänswein, who was at the time of Pope Benedict XVI’s election as Roman Pontiff, a mere priest secretary, had a radical change in character following Benedict’s election as the Vicar of Christ (See FromRome.Info’s authorized English translation of Viganò’s testimony, here). He went from being a secretary who facilitated communication with Cardinal Ratzinger to being a control valve for information arriving in the hands of Pope Benedict. Marco Tosatti was given information to the contrary, however.

The Book Flap as well as the angry phone call I got from Archbishop Gänswein made me realize that we need to re-evaluate the Archbishop’s role in the history of Pope Benedict’s Pontificate. I discussed that in my article for investigative journalists, here.

I have speculated that on account of the failure of the St. Gallen Mafia to secure the papacy for Bergoglio in the legitimate conclave of 2005, they became convinced that it was necessary to apply pressure upon Benedict XVI to resign. I have reported that Gänswein himself seems to refer to a pact in the Conclave of 2005, whereby Ratzinger’s ascension to the Papal Throne was secured with a promise of resignation in the near future.

This pressure may have been applied only by the St. Gallen Mafia and members of the House of Rampolla del Tindaro. However, they may have convinced other factions to join in this control on account of agreements for votes in the Conclave.

One line of investigation is whether one of those other factions was none other than the House of Cardinal Bertone.

According to sources who have spoken to FromRome.Info, the agreement in the Conclave was that Pope Benedict XVI would reign for 5 years, until 2010, and then abdicate. The House of Cardinal Bertone was a signatory, as it were, on this pact.

As can be seen from the episcopal lineage of Cardinal Bertone, his co-consecrators were each from two different factions: The House of Rampolla del Tindaro and the House of Saint Pius X. A clear choice of a man who wanted to keep his career options open in the future, by bridging or functioning as a middle-man between irreconcilable factions.

According to this reconstruction, Cardinal Bertone was urged as the new Secretary of State to replace Cardinal Sodano, who was out of favor with Pope Benedict XVI on account of what he had learned as Cardinal in the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith for concealing the moral depravity of Father Maciel of the Legionaires of Christ and other institutes. This has been widely reported.

Little did Pope Benedict XVI know, however, that it was perhaps already at this time that Bertone was in agreement with Bergoglio about the change of power. The interference and obstacles grew, and when Benedict was asked to resign in 2010, and refused, open warfare began.

The Persecution of Pope Benedict XVI

First, beginning in 2006, the year Bertone became Secretary of State, there was organized in Austria and then in Germany (where the House of Rampolla had deep roots) a movement called the Pfarrer Initiative (Pastor’s Initiative).

In 2011, they circulated a petition among hundreds of priests demanding changes in the Catholic Religion which were fundamental and intolerable: married clergy and women priests. They threatened schism if they were not heard.  The Vienna Review, on Dec. 1, 2011, quoted in part their manifesto:

They [the priests] want to be accepted as the intermediaries between God and the people, yet “Jesus was a layman, and he made no effort to install a clerical class…he encouraged people to confront God on their own. Hence communion is enacted by a parish community and a leader together. While according to current Church doctrine, this leader has to be an ordained priest, there is no reason that it should stay that way. “There needs to be a revival of the importance of the parish for the celebration of communion.

The group which called their petition a “Call to disobedience” ( Aufruf zum Ungehorsam) was lead by Father Helmut Schueller, former Vicar General of Cardinal Christopher Schoenborn, of Vienna, a key member of “Team Bergoglio” and a Rampolla House member. He went on a tour in 2012 to spread the rebellion.

But even before the tour, Pope Benedict XVI made an apostolic visit to Germany to quell rising resentment among the German Episcopate to his resistance to the agenda of the movement. In a stunning reproof, numerous Bishops refused to shake the Pope’s hand on camera. Though denied by many news outlets, the proof is in the seeing:

Threats of Assasination

At the same time in February of 2012, the pro-Bergoglian Mass Media in Europe spread the rumor that if Benedict XVI did not resign within 12 months he would be assassinated. This rumor was spread in the United Kingdom, Italy and Colombia, all bases of power of the St. Gallen Mafia.

In response it appears that Cardinal Walter Brandmüller called for severe punishments on this group in an editorial in 2012, which perhaps reflects the counsel he gave Pope Benedict XVI on this matter from the beginning.

Pope Benedict XVI stood his ground, and did not cave. Father Schueller received a slap on the hand, as it were, in 2012, according to a report by Reuters in what appears to be an diplomatic attempt to diffuse the confrontation without ceding on principles. However, that a St. Gallen Mafia protege was the key figure in this pressure placed upon Pope Benedict was no coincidence.

Vatileaks as a tool of psychological disruption

However, at about the same time as the Austrian Protest was gaining steam, we know from published reports on the Vatileaks scandal, that the private Butler of Pope Benedict XVI began to borrow and copy sensitive correspondence of the Pope from the desk of Father Gänswein, in what would come to be called the Vatileaks Scandal.

What makes this fact worthy of note is, that the collaborator with the Butler in the distribution of the correspondence was a woman of a rather notorious character who had ties with the St. Gallen Mafia. Among the letters which were leaked, were those of Archbishop Viganò complaining about financial corruption at the Vatican (Documents which at least in their first delivery never made it into the hands of the Pope, according to the testimony of Viganò, published here at FromRome.Info). In an attempt to silence one of the financial investigators, Ettore Gotti Tedeschi, he was fired without Pope Benedict XVI’s consent, according to his own testimony of what Cardinal would tell him on Feb. 7, 2013.

The news of the thefts was published on Italian TV in January of 2012. Pope Benedict XVI initiated an investigation in March of the same year. He could not bring himself to understand who among those so intimate to him had betrayed him.

The financial corruption investigation eventually revealed other things, such as unexplained double payments for the renovations of an apartment used by Cardinal Bertone. The removal of Tedeschi and Pope Benedict, who began the investigations as a result of Vatileaks, was thus a political necessity for a lot of people.

Perhaps to protect himself in the future after the abdication, and as an act of gratitude for service, Cardinal Bertone was one of Father Ganswein’s co-consecrators, when Pope Benedict XVI made him an Archbishop on January 7, 2013. His appointment in the previous December as Head of the Pontifical Household sealed his control over Pope Benedict after any abdication he might make.

Finally, according to my source, the concept of “Pope Emeritus” was not the invention of Pope Benedict, but was created by the new Archbishop to conceal the failed renunciation, the invalidity of which no one around Pope Benedict XVI noticed or admitted before it was too late, for Pope Benedict had check-mated them all!

This title also serves to keep Benedict under the control of the Archbishop, instead of allowing him to return home to Bavaria, a thing which the Pope himself recently admitted in the Bavarian State TV documentary about himself, entitled, Ein Besuch bei Papst Benedikt XVI. em. Klein Bayern im Vatikan.

Trad Inc. is hiding something Monstrous

By Br. Alexis Bugnolo

The petition to President Trump is something every human being can agree with, whether Catholic or not. All you have to agree with is a basic concept of patient’s rights and care for all the elderly, even if they be Pope Benedict XVI.

If you have not yet signed, please do! — Here is the link:

https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/petition-president-trump-advocate-protection-all-elderly-including-pope-benedict-xvi

So far 791 have signed. Share it on Social Media with everyone. Do not wait or hesitate. The very life of Pope Benedict might be at risk! This is obvious.

But Trad Inc., which has been informed about this petition 10 days ago, does not agree. They have censored the news of its existence to prevent Catholics from signing it.

There is only one sane conclusion: Trad Inc. is hiding something monstrous about their motivation to insist Bergoglio is the pope and that Pope Benedict is Joseph Ratzinger.

I say, “monstrous” because such a motivation must be very very evil, if it leads you to work to prevent Catholics from expressing their faith on the most basic question of human rights and charity for the elderly and needy.

Maybe, this monstrous thing, is that they are not operating on Catholic principles anymore, but have accepted some sort of political ideology, which allies with Bergoglio and refuses to give any assistance to his enemies?

In recent days, we have seen 2 major attacks on Pope Benedict XVI from Trad Inc.. There seems to be a pattern here. Does it have to do with big money coming out of Eastern Switzerland or Argentina?

I know my history of the Second World War, as I read William Shirer’s, The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, when I was 16. And I recall that Munich was the capital and origin of the Nazi party. Coincidences are fascinating. Just saying.

Frank Walker: Bergoglians punish to make us keep quiet about their revolution

https://youtu.be/onigSion_7Q

Don’t waste your time with any media outlets which tell you to shut up and accept Bergoglio. Here is the truth about the daily news, in all its grizzly detail.

How Bergoglo has converted Trads to attack his enemies

By Br. Alexis Bugnolo

Spanish translation at Gloria.TV

Many are of the opinion that Bergoglio is not the Anti-Christ, but his ability to convert so many over to serve his evil agenda is remarkable, if not preternaturally diabolic.

The latest example is the  Annual Letter from Radio Spada, a Traditionalist Radio Apostolate here in Italy. They join the attack with FSSPX.NEWS against the Holy Father, Pope Benedict, but they do not hide their animus, they are openly vicious.

Their main argument can be found here. They illustrate it with a picture of the Holy Father wearing a Sombrero. I guess that is supposed to make him look ridiculous. But only a racist from Eastern Switzerland would think such a thing, since a Sombrero is a traditional hat for respectable persons in Mexico and has been worn by Catholic laymen and clergy for centuries, including Saints and Blesseds of the Church before Vatican II.

The article, if you can imagine, goes down hill from there: attack, attack, attack.  Not Bergoglio but Benedict. The Author bravely signs his name as Miguel.

His first argument is that, even if a person says the truth, you should distance yourself from his profession if you disagree with his politics.  This is a tactic which has nothing at all to do with the Gospel, but for Miguel, it is the essence of religion, evidently.  I recall what Our Lord said, when the Apostles faulted others for using the Name of Jesus to exorcise.  I think He said He approved of what they did.

Second, he argues that since the publicity on the book presents Pope Benedict XVI as having renounced the papacy, then that means he has renounced the papacy.  Here we have the direct opposite hermeneutic as before.  In the first argument, you should never believe your political enemy even when he says the truth, when your enemy is Pope Benedict. But now, Miguel cites Bergoglian news media as making a claim against Benedict and he takes it as Gospel truth, more authoritative than canon law. So we should not believe the truth told by someone we do not like, but we should believe the truth of someone we do not like. Which is it?

Third, he claims that the question of Celibacy is relatively a minor issue, and not much fuss should be paid to it. If Miguel claims to be a trad, I cannot see what Tradition he is upholding….

Fourth, he claims the entire Book Flap was created to deceive, that they are really all in agreement about abolishing Celibacy.  I won’t comment on this, as it is patently absurd to think that Cardinal Sarah was publicly attacked by Archbishop Ganswein as part of a pre-planned theatre.

Fifth, after citing a long passage from Saint Pius X, he implies that the Saint would have condemned both authors of the Book as modernists.

In fine, Miguel closes with the most vicious attack of them all (I paraphrase): Pope Benedict has resigned. He promised to remain silent, but he won’t shut up! He is gravely damaging the Church by making these interventions just as he has gravely damaged the Church by the concept of a pope emeritus. — I do not know which script Miguel is reading from, but it sounds like something Cardinal Parolin may have given him to read.

Where do I begin to unwrap such nonsense? Uhm. If there is no such thing as pope emeritus, then Pope Benedict XVI is not an emeritus, but still the pope, because the title pope emeritus means he still holds the dignity of the pope, just like Professor Emeritus means that you still enjoy the dignity of a professor.  And if he still holds the dignity, then he is still the Pope, because there can be no papal succession unless the first guy renounces EVERYTHING. Hence Bergoglio was never pope, and you, Miguel, have just committed a most diabolic act of perfidy against the Roman Pontiff, Christ’s Vicar on Earth!

The Facade of the Aggiornamento has fallen!

By Br Alexis Bugnolo

For 50 years we have been preached to on a weekly basis that what the Church needs is the Aggiornamento: to get away from the rigorous idea that the Church should be run according to “medieval” ideas of discipline.

But, now that Bergoglio has openly declared his intentions to found a New Religion and dump Catholicism, the mask has fallen: if you disagree, you are fired. If you publicly deny he is the pope, you are excommunicated — in Don Minutella’s case a double excommunication.

Here at Rome one member of the faithful was declared excommunicated by his pastor, who claimed authority to do so on account of a phone call to the Secretary of State at the Vatican. — No you cannot make this up: excommunications by telephone. What’s next, an App for instant ex-communications?

What ever happened with the Holy Office? — Discipline was evil when it was directed against true heretics and schismatics and perverts, no?

But no more…   welcome to the False Church of Diabolic penalties. What is next, Auto da Haeresia’s?

We have to recognize that the entire Catholic World has been played for fools by all this talk of Aggiornamento. It appears now to have been simply a Marxist trick to break down the Church from within, in view of disposing us to accept the Apostasy which has come upon us.

Cardinal Bassetti: If you don’t like Bergoglio, get out of the Church!

By Br. Alexis Bugnolo

The news is so shocking that it seems unbelievable. So I will simply translate what Cardinal Basetti, President of the Italian Bishops’ Conference said 2 days ago at Perugia, in his home Diocese on the occasion of the Feast of St. Francis des Sales, patron of journalists. After a number of questions critical of Pope Francis, he lost his patience and burst out saying…  well you read it for yourself:

According to Il Messaggero, on January 25, 2020:

If anyone does not like this Pope, let him say so, because he is free to take another road. It’s O.K. to criticize, but not destructive criticism.

There are too many who speak of the Pope and to one of them I said:  Go become a Lutheran, if the Catholic Church is not right for you, if this Barque is too small.

According to ANSA, in their report on the same day, Cardinal Bassetti added these words at the end:

Excuse me for the outburst, but the objective of everyone should be that of seeking answers for the good of the Church and humanity.

It is clear that there is a schismatic and heretical spirit in the Church, but it is also clear now, where it is coming from and where it is not found.

Even Antonio Socci is outraged at his behavior, and says it amounts to a complete Marxist redefinition of the Church. His tweet below says:  Bassetti is nervous because Bergoglio wants to replace him with Cardinal Tortellino. He himself has not been entirely submissive to the South American Head. For the Bishops, absolute fidelity to the Head has already substituted fidelity to Christ. — Socci calls Cardinal Zuppi of Bologna, “Cardinal Tortellino” because he banned the traditional Tortellini for a Diocesan feast, because, since it contained pork, it might offend Muslims.

Guillaume Du Fay: Missa Ecce ancilla Domini

This week we peruse the repertoire of Sacred Music from the 15th century. We begin with this piece by Guillaume Du Fay, his, Missa Ecce ancilla Domini, written in honor of Our Lady.

Du fay had a colorful life. Born as a bastard of a priest at Cambrai (now France); he was raised by his mother and, having shown exceptional musical talent, received the help of many clerics who gave him an excellent musical formation. He obtained a benefice as a chaplain at the age of 16, at Cambrai, traveled to Contanz for the Ecumenical Council held there 1415-1418. Returning to Cambrai, he was made a subdeacon at the Cathedral, where he served two years. Then he spent four years traveling in Italy and working as a musician for the Nobility. Worn out by travels he returned home for two years, beginning in 1426.

He then traveled to Bologna, in Italy, and was taken under the patronage of Cardinal Louis Aleman, the papal legal. He was ordained a deacon, and then a priest at Bologna.  He fled Bologna in 1428, when it rebelled against the Pope, and went to Rome where he entered the service of Popes Martin V and Eugene IV. There he became the most famous musician in Europe of his time. When the forces of Conciliarists drove Pope Eugene from Rome and set up a temporary republic, he accepted invitations to courts from all over Europe.

He was the court composer for the Duke of Savoy in 1434, and returned to the service of Pope Eugene IV at Florence in 1435. When the schismatic Council of Basel deposed Pope Eugene IV, he fled to Turin and got a degree in law and then returned home to Cambrai, where he obtained a position as Canon of the Cathedral in 1440.

From 1452 he traveled Italy seeking the patronage of the Nobility, writing and composing music to pay his way. In his final years, he returned to and remained at Cambrai, where his fame drew students of music and composers from all of Europe to collaborate with him. He completely revised the musical  books used by the Cathedral and set in motion the rise of sacred polyphony for the next generation.

He died on Nov. 27, 1470, and as he passed requested that his motet, Ave Regina Caelorum be sung. Thus died a great servant of Our Lady and the Church.

Letters to the Editor: The Raving Bergoglian at Ars, France

This incident took place in 2018 and is public knowledge in Italy.
FromRome.Info makes it known, now to the English speaking world.

Dear Editor of FromRome.Info,

I am writing you to expose another element of the Bergoglian mafia and knowing such men of the mafia for who they are: liars, hypocrites, deceivers and sheeps in wolves clothing. They roam free in the beautiful gardens of the Church, but they are the Anti church. They often go unchecked, and one in particular, is the man (difficult to call him Father) Patrice Chocholski, a servant of Satan who has been planted as a “successor” of a saintly Parish Pastor, but far from it. He is the pastor of the parish in Ars that belonged to none other than one of satan’s greatest enemy, the great St. John Vianney.

After I read this article here published by the wonderful Bishop Rene Gracida (on his blog Abyssum) that mentions this Fr. Patrice Chocholski, I think this is the perfect time Catholics REALLY know who this man is.

He is an enemy of Pope Benedict XVI and pro Benedict Catholics.

Please watch this Youtube video of Fr. Patrice Chocholski by clicking HERE: (if you don’t understand the Italian language spoken in the video, I’ll summarize what happens below)

https://youtu.be/U0AQSNVSILA

This demon, Patrice Chocholski (sorry I can’t call him anything else), in the video above, pretends to come out in front of the Church of Ars to welcome a group of Catholic pilgrims from Palermo, Italy, only to surprise them with the news that he was expecting them, to mock their tour guide, none other than the heroic Fr. Alessandro Minutella. Chocholski mocks them calling Fr. Minutella a “heretic,” and also calling them heretics, preventing their entrance into the Church of St. John Vianney, He begins to shout that Bergoglio is the only pope, to the point of laughing at the group and jumping, shouting and waving his hands around like a complete moron, saying “Long live the pope!”

If this does not make your blood boil, what does? What will? When will God move you to begin denouncing these ravenous wolves that appear so tender outwardly?

Lastly, why am I bringing this up? Well, besides the Knights of Columbus sponsoring this man’s tour to the U.S. with St. John Vianney’s relics. See here. I also saw EWTN Fr. Mitch Pacwa interviewing the man See here. If you haven’t realized that the enemies of the True Church and the True Pope run your institutions, you need to wake up, open your eyes, and start blowing their covers!!

Signed,

Outraged Catholic

________

COMMENTARY

Catholics who hold that Pope Benedict XVI is still the pope because he never posited a juridical act whereby he separated himself from the petrine munus are clearly neither Schismatics nor Heretics. They are not schismatic, since they remain in union with the true pope. They are not heretics, because canonical irregularities or opinions about such things does not make one a heretic. Even if they judge that the statements made by Bergoglio are formally heresy, or that he is a pertinacious heretic, such a position is not heresy, because the Church Herself has always taught that the faithful are free to denounce heresy, are free to uphold the Faith and has never censured the opinion that a pope can be a heretic as heretical.  Father Patrice therefore has gravely calumniated the reputation of these faithful pilgrims, but at least he had the sense to allow them entrance after this brief controversy.

SSPX reluctant to fault Bergoglio, quick to attack Pope Benedict

By Br. Alexis Bugnolo

I cannot be silent at the diabolic attack made against the Vicar of Jesus Christ by FSSPX.NEWS the official news outlet of the Society of Saint Pius X, founded by Archbishop Marcel-François Lefebvre, C.S.Sp. (1905 – 1991).

Little has been published about the heresies and blasphemies and idolatries of Bergoglio, the anti-pope par excellence. But within a week of the publication of a book defending priestly celibacy against Bergoglio’s fiendish plan to destroy it, there is the SSPX quick on the attack, like hounds.

You can read their absurd critique here. To say their argument is strained or in search of evidence to prove its a priori accusations, would be an accurate assessment. Let us take a look at the errors in this article:

A GRAVE DEVIATION?

The author of the article begins by attacking Pope Benedict’s declared intention of explaining the priesthood apart from the “methodological defect in the reception of Scripture as the Word of God.” Evidently the author here shows his complete ignorance of historical theology. The term “word of God” was never in the entire history of the Church prior to the 1260’s applied to Sacred Scripture. For Christians before 1260, the Word of God was only one: Jesus Christ. It was at the University of Paris that an analogy was made, based on phrases in the Old Testament which refer to revelations made to the prophets as, “the word of the Lord”, between Sacred Scripture as revealed truth and Jesus Christ as the Truth revealing.

This attribution by the Scholastics was innocent at first, but with time it became divorced from the concept of analogy and with the Reformation it became not “the word of God”, but “The Word of God”, replacing the Mass and the Most Blessed Sacrament with the Bible as the new medium of union with God, under the control of the expert layman, who dictated what Scripture meant, without reference to the Tradition of the Church.

This, since the time of the Reformation, has become indeed a grave theological and methodological error in interpreting Christianity or Sacred Scripture. And thus to fault Pope Benedict XVI for this approach is to adhere to the very errors of Luther and Bergoglio, who just made Scripture Sunday a new day of cult in his Church, with the placement of the Scriptures on the central axis of the nave of Churches, where the Eucharist and the Tabernacle had pride of place before the Council.

A FLAWED EXEGESIS

The next chapter bears a critical title, but the text does not display any substantive disagreement.

Granted that it is better to talk of offices than ministries, but it does not fundamentally alter a theological exposition which is non technical.

WORSHIP IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH

In this chapter, the author agrees, without making much of the praise due to the Holy Father for his exposition. Remarkable, as his affirmations here cut directly against the notion of the priesthood promoted during the Aggiornamento, of the priest as actor, guide and facilitator.

AN ERRONEOUS THEOLOGY?

In this chapter, the author attacks Pope Benedict for writing: “The crucifixion of Jesus is not in itself an act of worship.” And the author admits that the Pope is referring to the action of the Roman Soldiers. But nevertheless, the author goes on the attack and tries to draw the expression of the Pope over to a denial of Christ’s offering of His Passion as an act of worship. This is the absurd method of reading used by Sedevacantists. It is most unworthy of a Catholic priest or priestly society.

In truth, it is a historical fact, that the Roman Soldiers did not put Jesus Christ to death as an act of worship to the Emperor or any Roman or Greek god. Neither did the High Priests sacrifice Jesus as an act of worship of any God. So what the Pope says is perfectly correct. The pope is using “crucifixion” in its active sense, as the crucifying of Jesus, not as ‘the being crucified of Jesus.’  The one is an act of public execution, the other is the matter which Christ offered in the Holy Spirit to the Eternal Father for the Redemption of all. And I do not think you need a degree in theology to understand the difference. The former was objectively a sin, that of condemning the Just to death, the latter was a great act of Mercy, which merited the freedom from condemnation for all those destined to eternal death, who would receive His Sacrifice in faith.

When Archbishop Viganò exposed Bergoglio for covering for pedophiles, the Society was one of the last to speak on the issue. It has been seven years of continual heresies, scandals and blasphemies, but the Society rarely denounces publicly Bergoglio. Suffice it to say, that to publish such a flimsy and error-ridden attack within a week on Pope Benedict’s Book with Cardinal Sarah raises a lot of questions as to the real goals and agenda of a priestly society which still insists that all its priests offer their Masses una cum papa Francisco.

I won’t even mention that the Italian version of this released at Rome (see here) insults the Holy Father by calling him by his baptismal name at the end of the second paragraph of the essay. Nor will I mention, that which is no secret, that the big money behind the SSPX comes from Eastern Switzerland, the power base of the St. Gallen Mafia.

St. Irenaeus prophesied how Bergoglio will seduce the clergy

by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

Saint Irenaeus of Lyons is one of the great Fathers of the Church of the end of the Second Century. He lived from 130 to 202 A.D., approximately. He was born in Smyrna, in Asia Minor. He studied under Saint Polycarp, one of the most famous disciples of Saint John the Apostle. This makes what he says about themes found in the Book of the Apocalypse, very authoritative.

In his summa against error, entitled, Against Heresies, Book II, Chapter 31, he describes the faction of the Antichrist, when speaking against the heretics of the School of Valentinus and the practitioners of the black arts such as Simon Magus and Carpocrates. See what he says:

. . . these men are in this way undoubtedly proved to be utter aliens from the divine nature, the beneficence of God, and all spiritual excellence. But they are altogether full of deceit of every kind: apostate inspiration, demoniacal working, and the phantasms of idolatry, and are in reality the predecessors of that dragon3265 who, by means of a deception of the same kind, will with his tail cause a third part of the stars to fall from their place, and will cast them down to the earth. It behoves us to flee from them as we would from him; and the greater the display with which they are said to perform [their marvels], the more carefully should we watch them, as having been endowed with a greater spirit of wickedness. If any one will consider the prophecy referred to, and the daily practices of these men, he will find that 408 their manner of acting is one and the same with the demons.

Here, Saint Irenaeus makes a direct reference to Apocalypse chapter 12, verse 14. And since it appears we may be living in the very age of that great apostasy, we should pay close attention to the words of this Father of the Church.

Notice he explicitly identifies the means whereby the Dragon of the Apocalypse will cast down a third of the clergy in the final age: through apostate inspiration, through demoniacal working and through the phantasms of idolatry.

Apostate inspiration, is the claim to be inspired when teaching things which amount to apostasy from Christ.

Demoniacal working, is the action of demons, who are fathers of lies and murderers from he beginning.

Phantasms of idolatry, is the appearance and manifestation of acts of idolatry.

You could not describe Jorge Mario Bergoglio and his closest followers better than this. Indeed, the mere fact that the clergy justify adhesion to Bergoglio is a demoniacal working, the deceit of the big lie, because they claim Pope Benedict resigned, when he did no such thing.

They ignored that Bergoglio is an apostate when he appeals to inspiration from  the god of surprises, which is not a name of the One True God ever given in Scripture or in the writings of the Saints, but is rather the name fit for a trickster spirit, the god of this world, Lucifer.

And finally it is undeniable that Bergoglio is promoting the propagation and worship of images of idols, and thus is involved in the phantasms of idolatry.

These three means are the exact methods Bergoglio is using to seduce the clergy, by promising them surprises in heretical novelty, by speaking like a demon on a daily basis and by employing the phantasms of idolatry as the litmus test of communion with himself!

In short, Saint Ireneaus has prophetically identified the servant of the Dragon and the party of the Dragon at the end of time, 1800 years before their appearance. Moreover, at the end of the section, just quoted, he makes it clear that Apocalypse Chapter 12 is a prophecy of things to come, not, as has been said by Modernists for 60 years since Vatican II, only a book written to encourage Christians in the First Century. They had to deny it, because it speaks of them!

Our Lady requested prayers at Midnight, Rome time

by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

Bl. Catherine Emmerich was given to know much about the future of the Catholic Church, nearly 200 years ago. She was given to see the time of two popes, and how one would lead the Church into apostasy, the other would be isolated and paralyzed by inaction.

As a remedy, Our Lady revealed to her that Catholics should join together to pray a special prayer at Midnight, Rome Time.  It is presently midnight here at Rome, so please read these prophecies of Bl. Emmerich, approved by the Church, and say the prayers Our Lady asked for. (Sources: here and here)

+ + +

May 13, 1820: “I saw the relationship between the two Popes. I saw how baleful would be the consequences of this false church. I saw it increase in size; heretics of every kind came into the city (of Rome). The local clergy grew lukewarm, and I saw a great darkness. Then, the vision seemed to extend on every side. Whole Catholic communities were being oppressed, harassed, confined, and deprived of their freedom. I saw many churches close down, great miseries everywhere, wars and bloodshed. A wild and ignorant mob took to violent action. But it did not last long.“ „Once more I saw the Church of Peter was undermined by a plan evolved by the secret sect, while storms were damaging it. But I saw also that help was coming when distress had reached its peak. I saw again the Blessed Virgin ascend on the Church and spread Her mantle [over it]. I saw a Pope who was at once gentle, and very firm . . . I saw a great renewal, and the Church rose high in the sky.“

August 10, 1822: “I see the Holy Father in great anguish. He lives in a palace other than before and he admits only a limited number of friends near him. I fear that the Holy Father will suffer many more trials before he dies. I see that the false Church of Darkness is making progress, and I see the dreadful influence that it has on people. The Holy Father and the Church are verily in so great a distress that one must implore God day and night.“ „Last night I was taken to Rome where the Holy Father, immersed in his sorrows, is still hiding to elude dangerous demands (made upon him). He is very weak, and exhausted by sorrows, cares, and prayers. He can now trust but few people. This is mainly why he is hiding. But he still has with him an aged priest who has much simplicity and godliness. He is his friend, and because of his simplicity they did not think it would be worth removing him. But this man receives many graces from God. He sees and notices a great many things which he faithfully reports to the Holy Father. It was required of me to inform him, while he was praying, of the traitors, and evil-doers who were to be found among the high-ranking servants living close to him, so that he might be made aware of it.“

August 25, 1822:I do not know in what manner I was taken to Rome last night, but I found myself near the Church of St. Mary Major, and I saw many poor people who were greatly distressed and worried because the Pope was to be seen nowhere, and also on account of the restlessness and the alarming rumors in the city. These people did not seem to expect the church doors to open; they only wanted to pray outside. An inner urging had led them there individually. But I was in the Church and I opened the doors. They came in, surprised and frightened because the doors had opened. It seems to me that I was behind the door, and they could not see me. There was no office on in the Church, but the Sanctuary lamps were lit. The people prayed quite peacefully.“ „Then I saw an apparition of the Mother of God, and she said that the tribulation would be very great. She added that these people must pray fervently with outstretched arms, be it only long enough to say three Our Fathers. This was the way her Son prayed for them on the Cross. They must rise at twelve at night and pray in this manner; and they must keep coming to the Church. They must pray above all for the Church of Darkness to leave Rome.“

“She (the Holy Mother) said a great many other things that it pains me to relate: she said that if only one priest could offer the bloodless sacrifice as worthily and with the same dispositions as the Apostles, he could avert all the disasters (that are to come). To my knowledge the people in the church did not see the apparition, but they must have been stirred by something supernatural, because as soon as the Holy Virgin had said that they must pray to God with outstretched arms, they all raised their arms. These were all good and devout people, and they did not know where help and guidance should be sought. There were no traitors and no enemies among them, yet they were afraid of one another. One can judge thereby what the situation was like.“

Guillaume de Machaut: Messe de Nostre Dame

As we continue our perusal of Sacred Music, we turn to Guillaume de Machaut, the first known composer to write music for the entire Ordinary of the Mass. In this piece, entitled, Messe de Nostre Dame, he has dedicated his polyphonic composition with intrumental obbligato to Our Lady.

This mass was written during the reign of Pope Urban V, when Charles V was King of France.

It’s similarities with Gregorian Chant are undeniable, but clearly he has incorporated the style of singing for secular pieces into his work. This Mass was written before 1365 A.D., that is, just a few years after the Black Death had ravaged the continent and killed more than a third of the population.  This might explain why he has a secular style of singing in this piece, because the monasteries had been emptied of choir monks. Read more about this mass, here.

FromRome.Info features a differing piece of Sacred Music from the treasure of Catholic History, each day at 5 P.M., Rome time, to edify our readers in the wonders and beauty of Catholic music throughout the ages.

Did Bergoglio just cry, “Uncle!” ?

by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

I think Bergoglio just cried, “Uncle!” — This expression in American English means that he surrendered to his opposition.

I say this because of the announcement yesterday, that Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re was nominated by him as Dean of the College of Cardinals, and Cardinal Leonardo Sandri, the vice-Dean.

As you may know, if you read my recent article just a few days before the announcement:  The House of Cardinal Re, that Cardinal Re is the head of a large and powerful faction in the Church, on account of his having co-consecrated more than 160 Bishops, including Cardinal Sandri and Cardinal Burke.

To name Cardinal Re and Cardinal Sandri to 2 of the 3 positions of actual power in the College of Cardinals is a stunning development.

Stunning, because neither is a member of the House of Rampolla del Tindaro, and thus neither shares an episcopal lineage with Bergoglio.

Stunning, because by giving that one faction 2 of the 3 votes necessary to call a Conclave or to decide NOT to call a Conclave, he has conceded the complaints from all the other factions in the Sacred Hierarchy and in the College of Cardinals that he not put these important offices in the hands of his own creatures.

Cardinal Re was made a Cardinal by Pope John Paul II.

Cardinal Sandri was made a Cardinal by Pope Benedict XVI.

What does this mean?

I think, first of all, it means that the complaints and protests which the faithful want to hear from the Bishops and Cardinals in public, have been made in private in an overwhelming matter. The College of Cardinals is first of all an ecclesiastical club of the highest order. They run the Church more than anyone thinks, and their power comes from this, that no one becomes pope without their placet and election.

Second, I believe it means that there is now widespread and universal opposition to Bergoglio in the College of Cardinals and in the College of Bishops, which is not spoke of in public, but which is at fever pitch in private.

Finally, I think it means that Bergoglio has caved to these complaints. By putting the next Conclave, or lack thereof, in the hands of another faction, he has admitted that the House of John Paul II and the House of Benedict XVI have definitively rejected his attempts at making the Church into another religion.

But perhaps I am being too hopeful. So keep praying!

In the meantime, insist with your local pastors TO REJECT EVERYTHING OF THE PONTIFICATE OF BERGOGLIO and point to this act of surrender as the sign to begin the rebellion to his faux pontificate of apostasy!

And write to Cardinal Re and URGE him not to convoke a conclave if Pope Benedict XVI is still alive and Bergoglio is gone, or to convoke one, if Benedict passes away, while Bergoglio remains. You can write the Cardinal at this address:

Sua Eccellenza Cardinale Giovanni Battista Re
Cardinale Decano
Collegio dei Cardinali

Palazzo Apostolico Vaticano
00120 Citta del Vaticano

You have a right to question your priest

by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

It is a principle of natural law, that anyone who presents himself as anything, has the duty to give reasons which justify his claims in public. This in past ages has never been much of an issue with regard to Catholic priests or Bishops. It was sufficient to know that he was a priest or a Bishop.

But with the planned and organized and generation-long effort by Masons in and outside the Church to corrupt the priesthood of Jesus Christ in the Church, it is no longer always and everywhere safe to presume the priest you know is Catholic, that is correct in doctrine, even when he is a Catholic priest.

So you should ask your local priest questions and not merely act as dumb sheep, if he appears to deviate from right doctrine or orthodox practice.

And no, I am not talking about him mistakenly leaving the cruets on the Altar rather than on the credence table. I am talking about issues which regard whether he has accepted the religion of Globalism or whether he is a Catholic.

If he says in a homily, that Greta Thurnburg is a Saint. Then you do not need to discuss anything with him, you need to denounce him as a heretic to your Bishop. I counseled one laymen on this matter recently, and after writing his bishop, the priest was removed as pastor from his parish.

No, I am speaking about ambiguous speech.  If a priest says we must be accepting to habitual sinners and goes on and on about this, then you should question him, because he may be a habitual sinner himself with intentions of corruption your sons and/or daughters.

If he says he hates honest politicians like Donald Trump or Matteo Salvini, you should question him about his politics. Because if he is a Marxist he is an apostate on account of this, that he rejects the entire soteriology of the Church.  Soteriology is the theology of salvation. Salvation consists in our supernatural conformity, body and soul, to the will of God, through the Sacraments, with the merit of eternal life in Heaven. It does not consist in fulfilling the political platform of the local left wing party.

In fact, if your priest admits he votes for the Left, you should question him, because with a few questions you will be able to reveal that he is either a heretic or an apostate, and then you can denounce him to your Bishop and leave the parish for another one.

If he preaches against the prolife movement, against those who want right doctrine or praxis, if he says that truth does not matter or says things which are confused, you should question him. I remember years ago, I was visiting a Church on Holy Trinity Sunday, and the priest said: At the baptism of Jesus a voice was heard, the voice of the Holy Spirit saying, “This is my beloved son, listen to him”.  In charity I assumed the priest was drunk on some physical liquid, and so I denounced him by letter to his bishop. In a week or two he was removed from the parish.

I know of a real case, in the Diocese of Worcester, Massachusetts, where a priest spoke in favor of contraception and abortion during a homily. The whole parish rose up and physically ran him out of the parish. The Bishop graciously responded by removing the priest as pastor. They questioned him before the ran him out, but they did the right and Catholic thing. God bless both them and their Bishop.

So it is important to speak with your priest, when he starts acting strange. Because if you don’t, it will lead to more serious scandals and the lost of faith of your brother and sisters in Christ. And do not hesitate to denounce bad priests, because this is a blessing for all: for by denouncing bad priests, you make the life of every other good priest in the Diocese easier, by removing a stain, a cross and a plague on the local Church.

If you have a question about the strange behavior of a priest, and seek advice, publish your story in a comment, but remove all identifying information as to place and person, so as to protect the reputations of all involved.

How to discern when ‘Catholic’ media is Catholic?

by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

On line media is in constant competition for viewership. Catholic online media is the same. That is simply a fact of the medium.

But what most Catholics perhaps are not sensitive too, is that when seeking information about the Catholic Faith or the Catholic Church the verity of the source of the information is just as important as the information. Some websites and Media operations are just not worthy of trust. Many use the name ‘Catholic’ but are not worthy of it.

What does “Catholic” mean?

As a word, “catholic” is derived from the Greek adjective meaning universal, that is, that which pertains to everywhere, every place.  It was in the second century, A. D., at Antioch, in the Roman Province of Syria, where this Greek word was first used in reference to the Church founded by Jesus Christ. The meaning of the term in reference to the Church has always been the same: the institution which wherever it is in the world, holds the same faith of Christ. (“Faith of Christ”‘ is the traditional term for the Catholic Faith; in which ”of” does not refer to the faith of the person but the Faith taught by the person).

But today I am going to use the term “‘Catholic” in a slightly different sense, because online “Catholic’ media are not part of the Catholic Church, though some of these outlets are official works or apostolates of certain Dioceses of the Catholic Church.

Instead, here I will use the term “Catholic”‘ in the common and popular sense used in American English, to refer to the orthodoxy of the information presented. Here I used the term “orthodoxy” not in reference to the Greek schismatics, but in its proper etymological sense of ‘right teaching’.

To be Catholic a Media site has to meet certain criteria

First, a Catholic site must meet certain criteria to be worthy of being judged “Catholic”.  As I just said, I am not using the term, “Catholic”, in reference to whether the website is sponsored or approved by an ecclesiastical institution or diocese. I am using it in reference to right teaching in matters of faith or morals etc.

By “criteria”, which is the plural of “criterion”, I mean rules or principles by which a thing is judged to be what it is or claims to be. It is only sane an rational, that if something is to be judged it be judged by objective norms, not by opinion, not by claims, not by emotions etc.. Is the website or journalist you read for information about the Catholic Faith or the Catholic Church (here I used “Catholic” in the original sense at it was used at Antioch in Syrian in the second century A. D.) truly Catholic (here I use “Catholic” in the sense of conforming to right teaching or orthodoxy)?

Because if it is not truly Catholic, but is seeking your attention and or financial support, then you are being defrauded. Now, no one can insist you not let yourself be defrauded, but common sense tells us that we should not let ourselves be defrauded, because self-preservation, the fundamental moral principle of all human action, demands that we protect ourselves from fraud and from being defrauded.

This consideration is raised to the level of the infinite, when we consider that if we let ourselves be defrauded or mislead in regard to the Catholic Faith or to what the Church teaches or as regards how as Catholics we should act in regard to God, His Church, or any other matter, then we risk consenting to our eternal damnation by accepting lies in place of truth, lies which turn us away from saving truth, lies which confirm us in error and vice, lies which, when accepted, merit for us eternal damnation, because it is a mortal sin to knowingly accept a lie, and it is a mortal sin of imprudence to put yourself in constant danger of accepting lies.

There is a moral obligation then, to use discernment

Discernment is the act whereby we apply what we know is true or just to a matter which needs to be judged as to whether it conforms to the proper truth or justice to be had in a particular matter or affair.

For example: at the supermarket, you discern whether to buy a product or not based on its apparent quality and whether the price is proportionate to that and your need for the product. Yes, there are individuals who go to the supermarket and just buy anything they see for no reason at all. They have no discernment, and some of them have a psychological disorder known as the compulsive buyer.

I suppose there may be a disorder called the compulsive reader or listener syndrome, but I have never heard of it.  Reading and listening should be an activity which employs more discernment than shopping for food. Not only because the act itself must be undertaken with understanding, which is an act of the intellect, the power of judging, but also because what is read or listened to — here I am not speaking of music or simply video per se — should be the truth or at least a true criticism of error or a true presentation of facts.

Just as one may be occasionally fooled by street corner hustlers, who say one thing, simply to get something from us, and what they say is nearly always entirely a lie, so we should be cautious in matters of our Catholic Faith, because we live in an age of hucksters and false apostles and calculated and contrived deceit of the most nefarious kind.

So if you are to protect yourself, you need to use discernment. And if you have any true charity for those in your family or who know you and might follow your example in anything, then keeping yourself free from error, by not allowing yourself to be deceived, is essential to protecting them too from error and lies which could lead them astray.

A Reputation is founded upon facts and deeds

Here we must keep in mind that it is one thing to make a claim and another to exhibit the comportment or behavior which is consonant with that claim. Many websites do not actually claim to be “catholic’ in any sense of the word, but nevertheless constantly publish information about the Catholic Faith or the Catholic Church.

Before Vatican II, it was the Catholic Clergy who directed or ran nearly all Catholic media. That is what it meant for it to be Catholic. Being trained in institutions which were Catholic in both senses of the word, the clergy who ran them were competent to execute the duty entrusted to them.

Nowadays, however, very few media outlets are run by clergy. Moreover, since Vatican II, the anti-Church forces in the Church have nearly entirely destroyed the formation process of the Catholic clergy, to such an extent that it is a rare priest and bishop who knows the Catholic Faith well enough to be even able to speak as a Catholic at all times, let alone think as one, or run a Catholic media outlet.

Having self-proclaimed Catholic journalists or apostolates take over what these Catholic  Clergy used to accomplish is obviously not the best solution nor even a solution. It puts the important apostolate of spreading the truth of the Gospel in the hands of men who were never trained or examined or proven to be worthy of that trust. And it makes the Catholic Faith appear to be something like the Anglican church, that is, a collection opinions which are up for grabs.

There is also a lot of deep pride and egoism in men and women who were never in a formation program and never learned what it means to mortify your ego and live for Christ Christ and obey His Church in the proper sense of those words. And not a few websites exhibit this. Egoism is a form of idolatry, so everyone needs to beware of this disorder, since it makes a person subject to being taunted this way or that, as the Devil may want them to do, to achieve his greater plans against souls and the Church.

So you should pay attention to what is being said and whether it conforms to the Catholic Faith. And when a source of information habitually deviates from the Catholic Faith on any point, you need to take care not to be led astray.  Some Catholics have the intellectual gifts and preparation that they can discern this and avoid the error while plucking a few grapes of truth from a source of information which is thus vitiated. But most Catholics do not have this ability. We need to be honest and confess this.

This is even more true, when we recognize that as human beings, we are wont to trust in others, and that in the present crisis in the Church our habit of trusting in others can be and is being abused by unscrupulous men, clergy and lay alike.

The duty of Catholics who publish

Catholic websites and media outlets have a graver duty to publish the truth than anyone else, because to publish a lie which is read by thousands is to commit a mortal sin in regard to each and every person who reads what is published. Catholic journalism and Catholic social media apostolates, therefore, are a fast track to hell if run by those without discernment and zeal for the truth. This is why not a few of them are patently diabolic, because while they are capable of knowing the truth, and have been presented with the truth, they fail to publish it or even worse attack it.

The Devil in Social Media…

I recall the example of a Catholic Diocesan Newspaper which was asked by a humanitarian organization to run an advertisement on behalf of defending and helping Catholics being persecuted in the Mid-East by ISIS.  The director of advertising refused, because he said it would create confusion about the Gospel message of forgiveness. A more diabolically contrived response was never had.

You see, there is a global effort now underway to undermine everyone’s grasp on reality and on real religion, because reality itself is seen as the enemy of the agenda which needs to be pushed. The ones pushing such a diabolic conspiracy have oodles of money and are willing to spend it to control Catholic Social Media sites, so they print and publish lies and stop printing and publishing the truth.

Catholic media which are run by organizations or corporations are directly vulnerable, because it is sufficient that the enemies of the Faith gain control of the organization or corporation to direct or control the information they put out. EWTN is a classic example. Before Mother Angelica had her stroke, the station was solidly catholic. After she had her stroke, laymen took control and these laymen were then suborned by unfaithful Bishops to alter the kind of information put out.  EWTN then began to purchase other Catholic media outlets and the same kind of control of information spread. When asked in 2016 to run advertisements to help persecuted Christians, EWTN refused because they said it would have disastrous consequences to their apostolate world wide.  I guess they mean by apostolate, their sources of funding or control.

Catholic media which are run by individuals are vulnerable inasmuch as the funding they seek or receive is controlled or not by those who want error promoted and truth suppressed.

You can easily know if a source of information about the Church or the Faith is compromised by simply compare what they are saying with the documents which are published by the Church or in ages past.

A classic example of fraud, today, is that which is perpetrated by those who promote the opinion of universal acceptance of a papal election. They boldly share images of the text in question, of the Thomistic author they cite as an authority, which text clearly uses the word “canonically” in reference to elected, and then proceed to apply the principle to the case of the present crisis in the Church as if the word “canonically” was not in the text.

When confronted with the documents of the Church which say that a pope resigns when he renounces his munus, they ignore the word munus, and place a X in its place, which they will replace with whatever word they like as it suits them for that day, and claim that a resignation is valid, whenever a pope says the word “renounce” X.

These are just two current examples of fraud which show clearly that such individuals or sites are not Catholic and that in reading them you are being defrauded of the truth and led astray. It is not just a question of intellectual dishonestly, it is dishonesty which intentionally misrepresents the truth of Church teaching or history. And as a Franciscan hermit, I can tell you that such a habitual practice of deceiving in matters of religion is no small vice. It is deeply evil, and there is something behind it more than just egoism.

So I exhort one and all, use discernment when you go online to learn more about the Catholic Faith or the Catholic Church. Look for sites which quote documents and are faithful in their reading and application of the truth which the Church has always taught.

Nazi Refugees and the origins of the St. Gallen Mafia

by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

In this article I am going to carpet bomb any notion you had that Bergoglio and his supportive faction are politically the opposite end of the spectrum from the Nazi Party of Germany in the Second World War. And I am not going to do it by a political or ideological analysis, but by a historical demonstration of collaboration. At every point, I will out the member of the House of Rampolla del Tindaro, who was involved or probably was involved. I mention Cardinal Rampolla del Tindaro, because his episcopal descendants form the core axis of membership in the St. Gallen Mafia (a.k.a, “Team Bergoglio”), as have demonstrated some time ago (see report here).

Rat Lines

“Rat Lines” is the term given to  organized routes of escape used by member of the Nazi Party and German Government and Military to flee Germany at the end of the War while avoiding capture by the Allied powers.

THE VATICAN RAT LINE

Historians have identified that the first Rat Lines were created using the existing network of relations between the Vatican and Argentina. As I reported yesterday, Argentina was nearly entirely in the control of the House of Rampolla.

These connections were no doubt facilitated by a Rampolla man: the Apostolic Nuncio to Argentina, Archbishop Giuseppe Fietta, who was named to that post on June 20, 1936 (Wikipedia has the wrong date, according to Catholic-Hierarchy.org) —  He had been the Nuncio to Haiti and the Dominican Republic, since Sept. 23, 1930.  — Months later, on Dec. 11, 1936 he was also named Nuncio to Paraguay, but resigned on Nov. 12, 1939 shortly before Italy entered the war on the Axis side. Wikipedia gives more detail on how the Cardinal may have done this without getting his own hands dirty:

As early as 1942, Monsignor Luigi Maglione contacted Ambassador Llobet, inquiring as to the “willingness of the government of the Argentine Republic to apply its immigration law generously, in order to encourage at the opportune moment European Catholic immigrants to seek the necessary land and capital in our country”.[6] Afterwards, a German priest, Anton Weber, the head of the Rome-based Society of Saint Raphael, traveled to Portugal, continuing to Argentina, to lay the groundwork for future Catholic immigration; this was to be a route which fascist exiles would exploit. According to historian Michael Phayer, “this was the innocent origin of what would become the Vatican ratline”.[6]

Bishop Alois Hudal

Bishop Hudal is the first prelate we know by name to have aided and abbetted German war criminals to escape from Europe. We know this because he confesses it his memoirs. He was a Nazi sympathizer. He was appointed by the Vatican in Dec. 1944 to visit prisoner of war camps. Being a German and rector of the Pontifical Teutonic Institute at Rome (a seminary for German and Austrian students) he used every means he could to help them escape.  One of Bishop Hudal’s co-consecrators was Bishop Ferdinand Stanislaus Pawlikowski, a Rampolla man, and it makes sense that Archbishop Fiettta may have urged his nomination to the position he received.

Hudal and other Catholic clergy used their influence with the International Red Cross to forge papers as necessary to obtain for the war criminals visas to travel overseas. But Hudal’s efforts were numerically small in scope

San Girolamo Ratline

The first large scale effort to assist large numbers to escape was organized by Franciscan clergy in Croatia and Austria. Both countries were heavily dominated in those years by Rampolla men in the major Bishoprics: Innsbruck, Salburg, Feldkirk, and Vienna, all had Rampolla Bishops and auxiliary Bishops during Word War II. As Bishops at the end of the war, due to their contacts with the Red Cross they would be the natural go-to persons for those wishing to escape Germany.

The San Girolamo Ratline is called by that name, because the Croatian clergy at the College by that name at Rome, facilitated the operation. The actual Rat Line ran from Austrian and Croatia to the port of Genoa. Why Genoa? The Cardinal Archbishop of Genoa from 1938 to 1946 was Cardinal Pietro Boetto, S. J., a Rampolla man.

Argentine Ratlines

On orders of the Dictator Peron, Argentina made overtures to welcome refugees from Nazi Germany. Argentines were instrumental in establishing Rat Lines from Scandinavia, Switzerland and Belgium.

Why Switzerland? The Bishop of Chur, on the German border, was a Rampolla man: Bishop Lauenz Matthew Vincenz, until 1941. And the Bishop of St. Gallen from 1938 to 1957, was Bishop Joseph Meile, who co-consecrated a Rampolla man. So it is highly probably that the House of Rampolla had priests in Eastern Switzerland, whom they ordained, to be operative for such a work.

Why Belgium? Both the Dioceses of Melchen and Tournai had had Rampolla men in them prior to the War. There would be then an abundance of Rampolla Clergy in the country, where there was already a strong pro-Nazi movement among Catholics at Louvain

But the key Rampolla man in all of this was Cardinal Caggiano. I quote from Wikipedia, again:

According to Goñi, Argentina’s first move into Nazi smuggling was in January 1946, when Argentine bishop Antonio Caggiano, leader of the Argentine chapter of Catholic Action flew with another bishop, Agustín Barrére, to Rome where Caggiano was due to be anointed Cardinal. In Rome the Argentine bishops met with French Cardinal Eugène Tisserant, where they passed on a message (recorded in Argentina’s diplomatic archives) that “the Government of the Argentine Republic was willing to receive French persons, whose political attitude during the recent war would expose them, should they return to France, to harsh measures and private revenge”

Cardinal Caggiano was one of the most prolific consecrators of Rampolla men in Argentina. That it was he to make the overtures to open the Rat Lines to Argentina makes the supposition that the House of Rampolla collaborated with the Nazis to help them escape from Europe, indisputable.

In 2004, over 700 FBI documents were declassified, a study of which showed that the U.S. Government was aware of rumors and evidence which shows that even Adolf Hitler, after faking a death in Berlin, had used one of these Rat Lines to escape to Argentina. These stunning revelations were subject of a multi part series by National Geographic, which alleged to know even of the final resting place and residence of the former Dictator in the Argentine Andes.

Spanish Ratlines

According to the report by National Geographic, Hitler was smuggled to Spain and hid in Galicia until he could flee to South America. This is no surprise, because Zacarías Martínez y Núñez, O.S.A., a Rampolla man had been the Bishop of Santiago de Compostella from 1927 to 1933, and was replaced by a Bishop whose co-consecrator was a Rampolla man. Therefore, it is highly probable that there were pro Rampolla clergy in the province to be used in any task at hand.

CONCLUSIONS

At the time of World War II, Rampolla men occupied the Bishoprics of Munich-Freising, Regensburg, Augsburg, Passau, Linz, Seckau, Sankt Pölten, Salzburg and Innsbruck. These all were either part of existing Rat Lines or natural door ways to them. Some of them are in close proximity to Berchtesgaden, the effective Head Quarters of the Third Reich, Hitler’s mountain residence in Southern Bavaria.

Thus both in Germany and in Argentina the House of Rampolla was present to exploit the opportunity. And in Argentina they took the initiative to begin the effort.

But maybe the cooperation went further than that. Maybe it did not end with Rat Lines. Let us not forget the ominous words of Adolf Hitler in the final weeks of World War II, in regarded a question put to him: What would become of the Nazi party, would it disappear after the war? No, he said, it would return in 100 years, but not as a party, but as a religion.

When persons fled, money and information fled. Where did Bergoglio get the 70 million euros from the Archdiocese of Buenas Aires to invest in the Vatican Bank during the pontificate of Pope John Paul II? Is that what bought him the leadership position in the St. Gallen Mafia?

The St. Gallen Mafia was founded around 1992. It’s Bishop, Ivo Furer, was not a Rampolla man, but the co-consecrator of his co-consecrator was. The diocese of St. Gallen is in eastern Switzerland, along the German border, the very border through which thousands of Nazis seeking to escape allied forces escaped to Spain and South America.

So when you next hear Bergoglio calling his enemies, “Nazis”, perhaps you can check it off as another act of psychological projection.

The Grandfather of the St. Gallen Mafia

The House of Rampolla del Tindaro

AND ITS TIES TO THE AMAZON

by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

As I continue my series of investigations into episcopal lineages and what they imply as regards factions among the Cardinals and Bishops of today, I cannot omit the most important for this investigation: the House of Rampolla del Tindaro, on account of its centrality in the history of the Church since the reign of Pope Leo XIII right down to Jorge Mario Bergoglio. See my previous report on the St. Gallen Mafia’s ties to Rampolla, here.

This faction is very large and very powerful. You can see the power of Cardinal Rampolla in the very fact that he was never the co-consecrator of any bishop, he was always the principal consecrator.

Next, you can see the power of the man shown in this, that nearly a third of all those Bishops whom he consecrated became Cardinals of the Roman Church. You can also see the power of the man, through the generations, by the number of men who seek as their principal consecrator a Cardinal or Bishop whose episcopal lineage traces back to Cardinal Rampolla. This is no accident of fame. Cardinal Rampolla is not known for his holiness, he was the rival of Saint Pius X. Who would want such a lineage?

As can be seen from this list, the House of Rampolla comprises a large part of the hierarchy of Brazil, and many bishops in the Amazon, for generations. Thus, when next you hear of the Amazon Synod, understand that its name is no accident: it is a code word for The Synod of the House of Rampolla del Tindaro, Godfather of the St. Gallen Mafia.

From this study, one can also see the power bases of the House of Rampolla, in addition to Italy and Brazil: Venezuela, Cuba, Santo Domingo, Argentina, Macau and Portugal. Also, other nations where Bergoglio has visited, such as Vietnam, Sudan/South Sudan, Mozambique. And others he has not, like Taiwan, Tanzania, Uganda, Riwanda, Indonesia and Hong Kong.

Indeed, as I reported the other day, the prevalence that is seen here of Rampolla men in Portugal and its former colonies of Brazil and Mozambique is another indication that Cardinal Nuno da Cunha de Athaíde from Portugal has had a lasting influence in the geopolitics of the faction.

This is further evidence of why Our Lady chose Fatima, in the heart of Portugal, for the decisive place of Her most magnificent miracle in all history and God’s most magnificent promises of salvation since Pentecost. The fact that Saint John says in the Apocalypse that the Dragon will seek out the woman who flees to the countryside, may be a reference to Fatima and its location. Moreover, we know that of all the Apostles, after Saint John, his brother Saint James went to Iberia to preach the Gospel and was active in the area of Portugal. Perhaps he too knew from Our Lady and his brother, where the decisive spiritual battle would take place at the end of times.

Another avenue of research will be to see how many Rampolla men were voting at the Second Vatican Council, to determine how much of that Council was produced under their direction, as the truth of that investigation may blow the lid off all claims that the Council was inspired by the Holy Spirit. Indeed, the insistence of Bergoglian supporters to claim that Bergoglio is fulfilling the Council may already answer that question.

You will find some very notable names on this list. One is that of Cardinal Siri, whom many sedevacantists hold was elected pope but forced to step aside. Whether he accepted an election or not, perhaps can be never known, but if he was forced to step aside, the request to do so may have come from the very faction to which he belonged!

Another is Cardinal Zen of Hong Kong. Annother Cardinal Ruini, Cardinal Merry del Val and Cardinal Manning. Another is the Bergoglian created Cardinal of Tonga, in the South Pacific.

So, for your information and the further research of scholars, here are the men whom he consecrated. In this list, the date is the date of consecration as a Bishop. The cross indicates that he persons is no longer alive. To each bishop, I have subordinated in turn the men whom he has consecrated, and so on. Thus, thus the men who are not subordinated, were consecrated by Cardinal Rampolla. The men who are subordinated only one indenture, were consecrated by the man above them who is not subordinated at all. And so on.
